Certainly some tickets will sell, but there's no way on God's green earth will they sell bucketloads, not without massive reductions... I mean, sense would surely be to cancel a few shows and move concert-goers into the empty seats on other shows? It's quite telling just how much people (and not just the GP) are willing to pay looking at how the cheap seats have all gone.

Interesting that most fans slag the Sticky vocals off something rotten... this actually sounds way better than almost any performance she’s given of an upbeat song LIVE since. interesting thing hindsight.

At the end of the day, if the rest of us turned up three hours late to work, what would the repercussion be? If you worked in a job in which you provided a service, you’d certainly either instantly lose custom (like M has), or lose any chance of a recommendation.

Personally I’d rather she just sing competently and live. She’s been singing for nearly 40 years, she should be able to sing live now... especially as she no longer dances much. Sorry, but to me the show looks very, very cheap. I like the setlist, I like the versions of the songs used, love the outfits, like how relaxed she seems... but the vocals are either phoned in or over manipulated and that’s sad. They should be the very heart of the show.

Well if you’re referring to me, who doesn’t hate on it but feels the production is clearly very cheap even for a theatre show and can clearly hear that a lot of the vocals are either prerecorded or heavily relying on live autotune, you’re wrong. I’m seeing the show in London, and could quite happily fly out to the US and see it there... but I’m not sure the show really warrants it in its current form. I imagine there will be changes to the show before London though, I think it’ll be far more refined.

I just can’t get over how it’s mostly just playback and love autotune. 2 songs with genuine raw vocals, and they’re both acoustic.

Just seen the video of Crave that is on the SuperMadonna Facebook page. I love the shows setlist and imagery but my God it looks like a tribute act in a local club... not a concert that costs $1000s a ticket.

Bat-Fan, ive never heard such stupidity... there is no issue with filming the DVD. Plenty of concerts have been filmed at The Palladium before... it’s not even THAT small. Concerts have been filmed in smaller venues.

Drowned World Tour: Generally live. Ray of Light and Music lipped in Barcelona for one show only. Sky Fits Heaven mimed always. NO songs were sung live over a backing track. What you hear is pre-recorded backing vocals and Donna&Nikki. There are NO backing lead vocals eg. from CT onwards. Re-Invention Tour: As above, all LIVE songs were sung live without lead vocal assistance. There was literally NO lead backing tape on most songs. The only songs lip synched were, Vogue, Nobody Knows Me, American Life (partially), Die Another Day,Papa Don't Preach and Into The Groove (most shows). The rest were totally live, no backing tracks, as the Lisbon show attests to.

Like A Virgin - Live Like A Prayer - Live. There are taped elements under the live vocals in places eg. Nicki's solo. Medley: Live To Tell / Oh Father - Live Papa Don’t Preach - Live, the pre-chorus and chorus has a backing track underneath (it was NEVER lip synched). Sooner Or Later - Live Hanky Panky - Live Now I’m Following You - Self explanatory. Material Girl - Live, chorus has a backing track underneath. Cherish Live - the pre-chorus and chorus has a backing track underneath. Into The Groove - Live, the pre-chorus and chorus has a backing track underneath. Vogue - Generally lip synched. Live vocals on some shows. Holiday - Live Keep It Together - Live The Girlie Show Erotica - Lip synched. A few shows have the occasional live vocal. ​Fever - Live some nights, mimed on others. Vogue - As above, generally lip synched. Rain - Live Express Yourself - Live, backing track in chorus. RIT: Mimed = Vogue, Nobody Knows Me, American Life (partially), Die Another Day, Papa Don't Preach (after the first few), Into The Groove (after the first few). Live backing vocals (to an extent). CT: Future Lovers (except opening night), Get Together (Mimed in Fresno only), Jump (partially mimed), Sorry, Music (many shows), Erotica, La Isla Bonita (Fresno only), Lucky Star (most shows), Hung Up (most European/Japanese shows). S&S: All live, most songs with pre-recorded backing vocals, except Give It 2 Me which was mimed on some shows, as well as the first verse of Into The Groove. Four Minutes was NEVER lip synched. MDNA: About half of the show. Rebel Heart: Bitch I'm Madonna (kinda), Devil Pray (loud track), Music (live but barely), Unapologetic Bitch (live but barely), Holiday (possibly lip synched, sounds nothing like the rest of the concert).
