  1. Another Suitcase would be PERFECTION. In fado-key with the melodrama only she can deliver. Agreed.
  2. Ok ok ok We all know at some point she'll be hitting the road again. During the RH tour she'd be heard saying "see you in 2019" - so bring it on beecheez lol Any suggestions for older songs to be included in the tour? I would LOVE Spotlight in Daft Punk dance version - and This Used to Be My Playground. Hell YEAH!!!!
  3. Let Down Your Guard was another amazing unreleased pearl from the period.
  4. I find it cool that she's checking out festival music scenes and fresh rap acts that were literally playing gigs on the corner from her recording studio. Let alone the fact that she was eyeing the lot from the stage itself. Classy. Also, her quarky pijama suits are giving her more character. I like them. Though I wish she'd ditch the hats. They are the new tooth grills. Kind of tasteless. They make her look like an eccentric aunt who once worked in Hollywood and who's not moved on ever since. Its my opinion.
  5. To be honest I LOVE all of her off-tune things I often just sing that final verse of Music live from the MTV Awards where she sings 'Hey Mr DEEJAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY' exactly like she did it. Heroic! I think that even though not perfect her voice used to be very strong. Today obviously after decades doing this, her voice has thinned out a lot, that's why she can barely be heard at times Most favourite in-tune live, possibly You'll See for me too
  6. I didn't know there wasn't a single for Beautiful Stranger in USA
  7. Are we still at this? Isn't Gaga over or something? And importantly, who needs this war again? Also, Madonna has famously 'copied' numerous things in her work. Example, the Hollywood video was taken to court for plagiarism to photographer Guy Bourdin and Ray of Light to a music video by Italian singer Biagio Antonacci - in neither case had Madonna publicly credited the original sources, even though the similarity is obvious. Check these out. Facts. I love Madonna but - like many people in the industry - she appropriates other people's work and shuts their mouth by paying them up. Her ability to recognise what works is good and we love her for that.
  8. I'd love Angels With Dirty Faces - thought it was brilliant
  9. Good topic, I like the positive attitude. I was just thinking the same thing the other day when re-listening to the full album. On a personal account, however, I seem to have a problem with 'Some Girls', as I heard the early demo by Bebe Rexha that sounded just like the finished Madonna song. This is why I can't really get into this track. Madonna's voice also doesn't sound like hers. It is an altogether very enjoyable song though. Tracks such as the indie genie that is Gang Bang, the witty chemical disco of I'm Addicted, the delicious Love Spent, the Orbit-meet-the Beatles I'm a Sinner - and of course the most heartfelt among Madonna's late ballads, Masterpiece, all give the album some real dignity. I even started to appreciate Superstar after it was issued as a single in Brazil (I loved the fan-made artwork). Turn Up the Radio is a banger, let's say it - and I uber-ADORE the MIA rap on GMAYL. That said, MDNA remains easy pop music, probably fabricated in between thousand other projects (i.e. the W.E. film, the Superbowls), which might justify the so-many fillers (i.e. I Don't Give A, the already mentioned Some Girls, and all the bonus tracks minus Best Friend, which I find moving) The CD cover was amazing and the tour did fantastic though - and that's all that matters really. Lol.
