At what time do you suggest me to go?
Tnks
In Lisbon, we started queuing half an hour before doors opening. Made it to our seats comfortably with a quick stop at the merch stand. Venue was bigger though...

Those comments are trash. The show is really long, and she already cut Crave. It’s impossible to star earlier because of the line for the phone ecc...
Agreed! It takes forever to get in with the queue moving slowly and an airport-style body search to go through. If she had started on time some might have missed the beginning, despite apprearing just around door opening time.

In Lisbon all the people were singing along. I lost my voice next day ..
Different audiences...happy that she recorded the Lisbon shows...
Same here! Had a sore throat walking back to the hotel. The atmosphere on my night was fantastic. ❤

Apparently the filmed the first two Lisbon shows in full, some close-ups and differents angles from the third one and the "I Rise" exit last Saturday.
No more filming on Saturday, no cameras around, etc.
From the 3rd one? Do you mean the Thursday show (16th)? I was there and did not see any cameras.

From what I've read on other forums, the show was filmed as well.
Courtesy of Kilt from Madonna Nation:The crowd strated stomping their feet loudly and applauding before M made the pre-show announcement.
God Control - very very good crowd reception and reaction. She was less tense than opening night.
Dark Ballet - the audio started skipping in the beginning, like an audio cd would skip, right up to the part where the drum beat kicks in; and even after that the snare had an echo effect.
Dress up interlude: small penis joke again targeting Trump. She said that the crowd on opening night didn't get her jokes. She said that size matters and Amen to a big dick!
Vogue: i think she messed up the choreography during the rap section.
Polaroid auction: nobody seemed to make an offer in the beginning. She invited people to come forward with their offers. The first guy tried to climb the center stage stairway and she snapped at him twice "2 steps back" . She then proceeded to crawl towards him and warned him that she better didn't do this effort for nothing. The guy said that he had 4000 EUR .... in debt and his heart, so she shooed him away. The second guy, Juan from Spain, offered 1000 EUR and she accepted it...he was so lucky. She complained why men in Spain are cheap? She persuaded him to give her all his money, but he said he'd need some to buy food and she fired back that it wouldn't hurt him to lose a few pounds.
She then said that people in the Europe work to live, while in the US it's the other way around. And she acknowledged that both stances are valid.
Dress Up interlude: she went on reciting the MX manifesto and at the end, as in previous shows, she says that MX is a whore and also a saint.
This time around, when asked the crowd what is MX, half of people were shouting a whore, the other half - a queen. She said that one doesn't cancel out the other, although it takes a whore to know one.
Fado section:
Long speech about how she came to live in Lisbon. She impersonated her south American friend, Victoria, with accent and all, who persuaded her to go out more. Then how she went to house listening sessions and how she doesn't have to explain to us what fado means. She then mentioned how she met Celeste and Gaspar, and impersonated his accent when he challenged het to learn a fado song.
Medellin - David showed up again towards the end of this number.
Beer section - the lucky fan was from Berlin, Germany and she again couldn't help herself from impersonating his accent. He wore a silver cone bra with his t-shirt rolled up. He said he felt excited. He said he's a medical assistant and that he cut people, sewn people, gave shots, etc. It was a really funny bit. She said that he may become a fashion designer after he presented himself to her in that outfit.
One thing: i noticed a lot of short people coming down closer to the stage to see the performances better. I do feel sorry for them, but the security is ordering to step away and go back to the their seats.
Great review! ❤❤

Any merch stand photos from last night anywhere?
I was wondering that too.
Also, did they have tour programmes / books and how much did they cost in Euros?

Thanks for your suggestions. Managed to sell the tickets over StubHub. With a loss but at least not having to stand in front of the venue in the rain.?

maybe TicketSwap? and post the link on twitter. There might be more movement though on Viagogo and Stubhub now that the eu leg has started and the dates are all sold out on bol.pt (except for 14th)
Thanks! Trouble is I can apparently post on just one of these sites at the same time. I am wondering if I should put them back on ticketswap.
What Twitter site would you recommend?
-
No one seems to be buying through Stubhub or Viagogo. There's tickets at or below face value in the front sections and nothing's happening.
I am getting super worried about the two spare tickets I am trying to sell for the 16th in Lisbon. Not sure where else I can try.

I still have 2 extra tickets available for the 16th - great aisle seats in the 1a Plateia (I have the original invoice from bol.pt)
Message me if interested. ❤ -

At the seller ticket bol.pt 2 days ago showing the 21st and now not showing it, just hope is not already cancelled, at the Madonna website it still there but I am just starting to be a little worried, if anybody knows anything?
Thanks
If you follow the link for those dates (Jan 21st and Jan 22nd) it takes you to bol.pt, the official seller - where they are no longer shown.
-
The other dates were still there yesterday afternoon, so they must have changed it last evening...

I suspect she will cancel some shows in all 3 cities, likely the ones that are consecutive.
If you go here you can see only 6 shows are still showing for Lisbon:
This is interesting! Hasn't been like this yesterday. They must have just updated it early this morning. Looks like two of the shows got canceled in Lisbon!
And the 16th is now fully sold out - which looks as if the first 4 shows will go ahead (I don't think she cancelled a sold out show yet) but unclear about the second week...
-
Sooo looking forward to the concert on the 16th, now that she confirmed that the tour will go ahead. ?❤❤
I am just getting a bit distressed that I still have 2 spare tickets (two of our group can no longer make it after a flight route cancellation).
Does anyone know someone who might be interested in 2 tickets in the 1a plateia (1st stalls) for the January 16th show?
-
Hi, still selling the two extra tickets for the 16th in Lissabon for friends who can lo longer go.
1a Plateia, middle section, seats are next to each other, at the aisle where she might walk past.
Willing to let them go a bit cheaper. Please message me.

I did not see any of these VIP packages ever available for Lisbon, only hotel packages? Or were these one and the same?
That book looks lovely!
-
I just posted mine in the Lisbon thread. I guess I should have posted here instead. Let me know if I need to move the post somehow.

Is anyone still looking for Lissabon tickets for the 16th in the 1a plateia (middle section, 2 seats next to each other at the asile), or know anyone who might be?
We bought too many. It was supposed to be four of us, but due to a flight cancellation only two of us can go.
They're great seats and I have them ready as pdf tickets. Please message me if interested. I really don't want them to go to waste...

Happy new year everyone! I'm new to the forum and what a great way to start the year with counting the days to Madame X in Lissabon! ?

Star Rating for Madonna's Madame X Show?

5 out of 5. Intimate. Audience interaction. Walking through the crowd less than an arm's length away from us.
Beautiful stage layout for the Fado Club.
The fado section. The whole atmosphere (in Lisbon).
No same-old-greatest hits show. Lots of new material.
I loved Rebel Heart but this beats it. It was so good it felt like a dream. ❤
