Btw i hate to wait for a new album too...... the best thing? the singers who put out an album without waste time ....... they take their instagram or Facebook and tell you that the album is out now........ love it.....

Something I like about Shakira are the lyrics of her songs. You can notice the dedication she puts into this aspect because some of them are almost poetic and not simple and generic phrases. Even in her most "cheesy" songs I can notice this detail. While other pop stars neglect this aspect, Shakira has always stood out for it. Even Madonna. Although she is my idol, I cannot hide the fact that the lyrics of many of her songs leave a lot to be desired: Don't stop, I'm so stupid, I deserve it, Jimmy Jimmy, Shoo Bee Doo, etc. Too basic. Too much simplicity.
