I can't pick a favorite song from this album. I love all remixes. The song I always skip is the snooze-fest Physical Attraction. I'm surprised by the love it has recieved on this forum.

I think Who's That Girl was the first song to have a complete remake on the maxi-single, and then gradually more and more songs were remade. When Jump was released I was surprised to see a regular extended version of the album version.

No, we are not entitled to bitch and complain about anything.Madona never said anything about a 40th anniversary. Fans made it up. I think we can forget a 40th anniversary edition of The First Album. We know Madonna's people are working hard on this project, and I'm sure it'll be fabulous once it's released, but unless fans want a rushed release, we just have to wait until it's ready. Now Madonna wants to get stuff out as soon as they're done. She said so herself. So as soon as everything's ready, it'll hit the record stores.

Pkay, this is a long shot, so don't hold your breaths, okay? BUT! I just read that Rhino are releasing four albums in quad-mix on Blu-Ray in June. Who knows? Maybe a 5.1 edition of IC is one of them? That would be so cool! https://www.quadraphonicquad.com/forums/threads/4-new-quadio-releases-coming-in-june.34267/

Thanks to all of you who's provided us with download links, for backspeakers, and the two stereo versions. I hear details I've never heard before, and the songs sounds so much better now. Incredible. So thank you.

The only thing that's missing is a cow.

This is a step in the right direction. I've dreamed of Madonna songs in surround, and was terribly disappointed when the 5.1 mixes that Warner Canada talked about back in 2007 never materialised. I have records in surround with Björk, Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd, and more, and love it. Now, if we could just get Madonna to release this surround mix on physical media. A special edition for her own web store, perhaps?

No. I bought the VHS when it was released, and it played the same snippet. I even think they showed this clip in some documentary on MTV when the movie was peomoted. Maybe in Dinner With Madonna..?

According to the press release, this edition will get a wider release, so yes. I do think so. https://www.madonna.com/news/title/finally-enough-love-the-rainbow-edition WOW! That was quick. But they probably only had a few hundreds this time. The rest of the stock goes to regular people and record stores.

A BLU-RAY with the sleeping pill Mariah? Well hopp and hurray! But yes, I agree. MC did that huge campaign, and the fans went wild with excitement. (I'm sure we'll se some nice stuff in the coming year from Madonna. I sure hope there will be blu-rays with concerts in future boxes. Maybe not of The Virgin Tour, but The Girlie Show and forward should be on Blu-Ray since they were shot on HD..?)

Of course it has. You Can Dance is continous on LP, CD and Casette. Don't know about 8-track, but I guess it's the same there.

I love it too. Such a touching and welcome gesture. Cancer research needs every penny it can get, cause I can tell you from personal experience; Cancer is NO fun. I got mine from Bengans in Sweden for only €28.90.

I saw your comment and played bits and pices. It's in a continous mix, but not like YCD or COADF. The mixes could be played seperately if you so wish, but if you just let the record play, it doesn't miss a beat... The vinyl is thick and dead silent. I'm very pleased with my copy.
