I think you'll understand it was the right decision. This Used To Be My Playground was rehearsed also but the hydraulics guys all fell asleep and poor M was left stuck 30ft up in the air for 45 minutes on top of the Cake. After that the song was scrapped for continuity purposes.

July 8th 2009 was cancelle due to her only selling 3000 tickets in the biggest indoor arena in Europe. They moved everyone who wanted to attend the night before directly over and refunded the rest. I'm surprised she is rehearsing now in that arena, her touring history with Manchester isn't exactly spectacular... sluggish sales 2004/9 and the angry speech in 2015 before leaving 20 minutes early.

We have to remember that these shows are not broadcast quality audio wise. They're 2-channel rough soundboard. A live show for broadcast is multitrack recording.
