I always felt that she had set in her mind that her working career would be 40 years - which is a standard that has influenced her growing up I guess being a middle class child, where you work for 40 years, and then you retire. Even during promoting Madame X she always talked about coming full circle and I always felt that in 2022 she would wrap up. But that being said, I don't expect her retirement to be an ordinary one.

Yes, but the final Rebel Heart song is so generic and something I never thought Madonna would ever in a million years choose to release. But then I think at that point she was just over that whole situation and wanted it finished.

I think the uptempo songs polarize the people here, so with them it's a mix of 10s and 0s. With ballads everyone "kinda" likes them so on average that's 6s. And then when you add that up ballads rank higher
