i've been told several times by professional dancers that you dance with your feet not your arms. That's the difference between someone really dancing which can be less spectacular and someone making moves. It also translates in the way they walk and the body language. Now check for yourself who dances and who moves.

Grammys, Oscars....it's just like stars on the walk of fame, it's a fake honour bought by the recipients. Most people getting Grammys today would not have passed the selection 20 years ago. It's just a tv show.

Taylor Swift scares me. She's that mean girl person. The way she's daily and worldwidely pushed down our throats with her love life and saint like behaviour is nauseating. Most people (especially outside of the usa) can't name one of her songs and even when they get Shake It off out their mouths they can't remember the lyrics or the tune. She must have a very strong PR machine because the scrutiny she's subjected to daily does not seem to bother her, except when she's not in control of it. She's that breed of new popstars like Gaga and Beyoncé where everything is calculated, under control, sterile and fake. There's something totalitarian about them.

I wonder if she's gonna aknowledge her ties to Pittsburg/Aliquippa, that's were her italian grand parents established themselves after migrating from Pacentro in Italy, where her father was born and grew up and where she spent time as a kid in the summer. Considering this show is about her life, that's pretty much where parts of her roots are (just like Gaga as a matter of fact)

That's why i' m saying it looks made more for the camera than for stage. Dad was a highlight for me but the second night i had a nosebleed seat and it looked very remote, the first night i was too close. I love the staging and choreo on YT. I'm sure it's gonna look incredible on film like BS and Justify My Love. I think she cokld have sneak Get Together or Impressive Instantin between Ray Of Light and Rain. As for the MJ tribute she could have used this moment to aknowledge everybody that has passed from her generation or made zn interlude dedicated to her roles in movies, very tongue in cheek to own this infamous part of her career.

i saw it twice and it feels rushed. The mother earth thing she did last year looked way better than this. I don't know, something is missing for me and that's one of my fave tracks of hers. The "Sex" section could be trimmed A Lot for more impact, a lot of good ideas, the blond ambition bed, the beautiful ballet....but how long it plays kills the momentum. I was never a fan of MJ, the way she added all these pics from the same week they hang out together feels forced. I'm a Prince fan so i'm biased, i loved the hommage but the LFL/Let's go crazy interlude is too much but it bothered me less than the MJ one. Oh and the Beast Within is definitely out of place. I guess she planned the bathroom breaks with those so people wouldn't leave when she's on. And ibthink GI2M could have been added to the last bit with BIM and celebration. I would have made the 90's rave longer, adding something between Ray of light and Rain, That part felt too short.

I adore Bedtime Story but it does not work, vocally, the scenography, the visuals....it's a low point with the overlong Erotica/Justify bit and MJ tribute imo maybe they will look better on film because they really look like they were more made for film than for a live experience. Like DAD too.

If i remember correctly, the Madame X guitar cover was the first one we got. The other two seem to have a different concept than this one which is just Portugal, they seem to aknowledge her mothers, her real mother mixed with Frida Khalo as her Art mother just like Martha Graham.

I just saw the video of Niki and Donna filming themselves singing from the pit while Madonna was singing on stage and the look in their eyes, the whole thing, it's not only pathetic but reeks of self promotion and saying "this is our legacy too". It looks forced. I wonder if Guy O. gave them the tickets because watching their pics and videos it does not feel genuine at all, they even look foolish kinda like a French & Saunders skit, trying to insert themselves in the picture. Justify My Love and the spoken parts of Erotica are impossible to do live, at least with a big sound system, she would have to scream the words for them to be heard. That's why she unearthed You Thrill me from the vault for Confessions because she can sing those extra parts. It's almost like talking, so listen to the parts where she's speaking during the show, you really must make an effort to understand clearly, that's how the spoken parts of jml and Erotica must sound live. In a small venue, with less room echo and screaming crowd, a better acoustic, it must be feasable, in an arena it must be shit.

bitch made me cry talking about Marie, the nurse who took care of her. I'm still not sure how this experience changed her since the show was conceived prior to it. I wonder how this brawl with death will inform her work in the future.

and it's not just the book, though it should be enough, but also the whole Darlene Lutz/Gottahaveitrocknroll situation had to do with Christopher. I had access to his FB page because we had friends in common and he was suggested to me and i found out that on top of everything else he was gay republican defending that clerck woman refusing to marry a gay couple. Martin is hardcore republican too. I can see why she felt closer to Melanie.

No remaster mention like on Material Girl last week. They probably wrote Material Girl remaster 2024 even though it was made in 2023 to make it look fresh. So far only Everybody, Lucky Star and Material Girl have had the remaster mention meaning there could possibly be a fresh new remaster of the two first albums in her vault she prevented from being released for unknown reasons.

And if they did get backstage prior to the show they would have posted a pic from there on social media riight away instead of pics of them with the stage as background... Niki, on top of her passive agressive interviews throughout the years, sided with Christopher when he did that book, liking his posts on FB and suporting him in the comments. As for Donna she apparently was a nightmare on Reinvention tour according to Siedah Garrett to whom she was a bitch from what Siedah said on Youtube. Siedah is Quincy Jones protegee, she did back up vocal for Madonna before Donna (on the True Blue album) she did thatduet with Michael and wrote Man in the Mirror, she did that duet "Don't look any further" so her accomplishments dwarf Donna's (and Niki's) so if Donna was difficult on tour it probably annoyed Madonna. And i don't see Madonna enjoying them still doing all these iinterviews about her and covers. Yet, maybe the coma june mellowed her...I'd rather have her forgive and aknowledge Erica Belle though.

I Hope she invited them and she met them backstage otherwise it would be them forcing themselves into her and using the show for their own promo and photo background....it feels like the latter but i Hope i'm wrong cuz it would be too pathetic.
