Loved this bold but the album art seemed to have little to do with the compilation.  

 

Same opinion with the Rebel Heart Standard Edition.

The picture for YCD is amazing. It wouldn't have been as striking with a white background.

Rebel heart goesall the way in all directions possible, visually and sonically. Visually you  have Joan of Arc, S&M sex, 50's Marylin, sonically you have reggae, pop, hip hop, dance, ballads... cohesion nightmare.

I've always loved the YCD album cover. One of my favourites from her.

I love the cover, but I must agree that it has little to do with both the theme and content of what is on the album. Maybe had they added the remixes of La Isla Bonita or Who's That Girl it would have themed it a little better. But still, it's a fabulous compilation.

They didn't want to ruin the sales of her current lps at the time (True blue and who's that girl ost).
