  1. Have you noticed that Madonna celebrates him a lot on her Instagram account? It's like she's promoting him or something And also, have you noticed he's got the same 'Umm' sound she does when she's asked a question? It's incredible Just watch Ellen's show and you'll know what I'm talking about.
  2. I think the song I listen the most is 'Dress You Up', it gives me good vibe; however, the last rock version she did in 2009 did not impress me that much. It does not surprise me she dropped it from the RIT setlist. I wish she would sing other tracks from that record, but it seems impossible nowadays.
  3. The cover has to be iconic... like Confessions or MDNA, those were extremely good!
  4. Rufus Wainwright: Madonna singing together with Miley Cyrus was horrifying August 6, 2014 News In an interview with The Guardian, Rufus Wainwright had some things to say about Madonna, in particular her duet with Miley Cyrus… Well, what can I say? She’s a pretty good singer. One of the most horrifying things I’ve seen in my life was her and Madonna singing together at the end of her Unplugged show. It was really, I don’t know, the overtones were way undertoned (laughs). I just need a little bit more in my life than that. It’s not the first time Rufus Wainwright had some nasty things to say about Madonna… The Guardian (UK) – November 2006 There’s a dark force at work here – she subverts everything for her own gain. I went to see her London show and it was all so dour and humourless. She surpasses even Joan Crawford in terms of megalomania. Which in itself makes her a kind of dark gay icon. I love Kylie Minogue, she’s the anti-Madonna. Têtu (FR) – February 2007 I think that Madonna is a great fraud. She is a fake idol. You remember the episode of the Golden Calf, in the Bible? Well, that Golden Calf is Madonna Attitude (UK) – July 2007 After [Madonna] we are almost at that point where you have to be a great accountant as well as a dancer. I consider her to be the end of the idea of Western Culture as a viable response to humanity. There are a few great tracks in there and she was the most incredible model ever, for photographs. And I’m talking about the picture camera rather than the film camera here. She repels that instrument. But culture-wise and the mindset that she spawned is completely toxic. It’s horrible. I can’t even come up with words to describe that mindset, it’s so repulsive to me. 5. the Bedtime Story one reminds me of Björk during the Debut era
  6. I'm not sure about this, but one day my ex told me Kate Winslet looks a bit like Madonna Gwen Stefani And the following woman is a Venezuelan actress I used to watch in a soap operaa when I was a child, she always reminded me of Madonna... I looked her name up, her name is Emma Rabbe...
  7. I feel like I need a single date releeeeeeeeeeeeeease Hurry up M !!
  8. Miles Away She's Not Me Devil Wouldn't Recognize You Across the Sky (should have been released!!) Celebration I'm Addicted Turn Up the Radio Superstar (stupid lyrics, great production) Love Spent Falling Free
  9. Watch this wonderful performance by Sia, especially towards the end... it sounds magnificent!! I wonder if Madonna has heard Sia's cover
  10. Janet Jackson and Mariah might have tasted some big success in recent decades, but outside the US, or at least in Latinamerica they're virtually dead. Never heard their songs on their radio except for 'All for You' and ' Hero'
  11. But still, it wasn't the vocals used on her concerts. I'm pretty sure that excerpt is part of the official studio demo worked to be included on tour. Just compare it to the RIT version, same voice, same key as you say.
  12. I'm not sure. Die Another Day had this big orchestra mixed up with these crazy electronic beats but it's too monotonous in my opinion. On the other side, Beautiful Killer is very catchy and romantic but Solveig's production fails to make an impression... I especially like this fan guitar recreation better, the strings sound so good!
  13. I'd never say the Sticky & Sweet is my favourite Madonna tour for a lot of reasons. Despite having the opportunity to see her live for the very first time (and very close to her stage), there were things that, in my opinion, were not on pair with other concerts she did previously. However, as anything Madonna has ever done, there were GREAT moments and the performance of the song Devil Wouldn't Recognize You is one of them. The effect caused by the extraordinary cylindrical screens was amazing. I remember all the people around me (fake posh in general) were open-mouthed It is definitely one of the best songs on Hard Candy and should have been released as a single, no matter if it was labeled as 'Cry Me a River (Part Deux).
  14. What if there's a collaboration between the two? It's not like I want it to be real but it doesn't sound strange... It looks like they get along very well, Madonna even performed in Miley's MTV Unplugged considering she doesn't even have one of her own lol
  15. Is she the only professional who's been with her since the very beginning? That must be a feat because according to Christopher's book Madonna IS difficult to manage.
  16. Rihanna should be labeled as music legend since she started to release one album per year
  17. I would take that 'ask me anything' sentence and put 'do me anything'
  18. I think the Edit One of Fever is marvelous! It's light years better than the one on the Erotica album which is montonous as hell!
  19. I think the reason were: a) heavy rain (it rained strongly from 4 pm til around 12 am) b) traffic congestion around the stadium area (it always happens in Santiago cause it's a shitty city lol) c) she was sick (there were rumours she wasn't feeling good since the Porto Alegre stop, her face/eyes were swollen I can tell) d) she got really late and was not able to make the whole show before a certain hour (she started the show at 11:30 pm) I'm a big fan of hers, no doubt about that, but I still think she herself should have given us a convincing excuse, or at least something that convinces the thousands of people who are not her fans but spent their money on the show. She destroyed her reputation in this country, and it's really sad. Sticky & Sweet had set the bars really high but in general, not for me cause I'm immediatelly paid off by just seeing her in person lol, the MDNA show was very disappointing. I'm afraid she won't be a able to sell out a football stadium in Chile again. Maybe an arena I finish the off-topic here lmao
  20. I wouldn't be surprised if the MDNA studio version of Express Yourself contains the original acapella, that's what I meant with 'robot voice' cause it's the same robot voice used on several RIT, CT and S&S studio demos. The acapella she re-recorded for those MDNA shows she didn't sing it completely live is, of course, different.
