  1. That’s Honey Dijion at The Standard Hotel lobby reception desk.
  2. I'm not being a Debbie Downer. In my original post I mentioned everyone "chilling out." The tour video is coming in some form. If anything, your "joke" wasn't clear.
  3. Regarding "breaking even" --- you have no inside information regarding how much her production costs or editing fees are. And no inside information regarding if they were already originally included in the Madame X Tour budget and probably paid in part by her touring company (with a kick-back to them upon release or sales). I imagine these recording and editing fees were originally in the Madame X Tour budget which, I assume, has been settled for a year. I work in the touring entertainment industry. This is standard practice. It's also rich to joke about her "breaking even." She's a multi-millionare. She'll be fine.
  4. Then she'll sell the physical copies and still make more money than most of us do with a year's salary.
  5. I work in Marketing and realize most of you don't but...... It's no surprise that no final deal has been made regarding streaming. Unless they're producing it (they aren't), no streaming service is going to pay to license a product for which they haven't seen the final version of. She's still editing it. That doesn't mean that negotiations haven't started contingent on them approving the final product. Chill out everyone. We just went through a pandemic which slowed productivity. But it's clear based on her continuous posts that we will see the Madame X concert someway, somehow...
  6. Can you be more specific? What seems “forced”? What specifically makes you think she’s doing this for the “greater good”? From the Instagram stories she seems in good spirits in my opinion.
  7. Has anyone considered that these reshoots may have been part of the original plan all along? They could have been postponed when COVID first hit and everything shut down. Then further postponed while she had surgery and recovered.
  8. I saw Madame X two night in a row in Chicago - 4th row both nights - and everyone on the floor stood and danced the entire time except for maybe the interludes.
  9. Amazon prime uses horizontal (not vertical) art for their content.
  10. Read the FAQ at the bottom of the Live Nation page. They very clearly answer every question you may have. To better your chances of getting a ticket you should request EVERY performance you are able to attend along with EVERY price level you’re willing to pay. If selected, you will only receive tickets to one performance. An example: I chose every date and every pricing level (except VIP) for Chicago - up to the top price level of $750. I received tickets in price level 3 ($400 with fees) to one performance.
  11. This didn't age well 24 hours later.
  12. I’m not an Icon member or a Citi card holder. I also picked every date and seating level for Chicago to up my chances. Which means that there were a LOT of folks willing to shell out $800+ for a seat.
  13. My card was just charged for Chicago. $400 - Seating Area 3. Still no email yet.
  14. Some Chicago fans are reporting a Ticketmaster charge on their credit cards.
  15. So I work in a venue that’s a similar size and seating capacity of most of the venues Madonnas performing her Madame X Tour at. Earth Wind & Fire is loading in right now for their performance tonight. I snapped some pics from the very back of the Orchestra near the mixing board in case anyone wants to get a similar vantage point of what you might expect on this tour. Also for everyone complaining that it will be extremely scaled back, notice the huge screens they are using on stage. I’m really excited to see her in an intimate setting like this.
  16. To be fair, it's TICKETMASTER (not Icon) sending out the confirmations. Ticketmaster wrote in the email to everyone who registered that they will notify us "before Sunday, May 19." Registration is closed and it's before Sunday, May 19. I have no reason to believe that's a fake confirmation email.
  17. Can I ask which price level/dates you requested. I’m sweating over here checking my emails every five minutes for Chicago confirmation
  18. The US tour of the Broadway musical "Hamilton" uses a very similar process through Verified Fan in most of their cities. I believe Taylor Swift's last tour used Verified Fan also. A lot of high-demand ticket musicals, concerts, etc. are adopting this method. This process allows Ticketmaster to scrub out scalpers who use bots to scoop up dozens of tickets in seconds as soon as they go on sale. It's a lengthier process for the consumer but it actually is for the benefit of us fans.
  19. Yes. The FAQ clearly states that you can choose multiple cities and multiple performances but (if selected) you will receive ONE PERFORMANCE IN ONE CUTY. Read the FAQ folks!
  20. There is no queue and how quickly you request tickets has no bearing on your likelihood of getting the tickets you want. It’s a random selection. Read the FAQ on the Live Nation site.
