  1. So it's a Bitch I'm the Finale with a Celebration/thank you outro. That's it guys, there's no 5+ cut songs.
  2. https://www.instagram.com/tajopezzini/live/ Another live
  3. Die Another Day alone is light years better choreographed than anything on the last two tours. Not all choreography needs to be explosive to convey and express.
  4. The amount of people asking for the "full show"... Watch her make Rain the definitive ending from now on.
  5. This is her best lit show since the Confessions Tour. S&S and MDNA had its moments but this show wins overall. Just beautiful.
  6. I am LIVING for RACHELLE serving vocals, that's how you enjoy a concert! Donna & Niki who???
  7. Where are the streaming links??? I already popped some popcorn
  8. Human Nature/Crazy for You makes sense on paper to me, it's just jarring because both songs are cut brutally short. Crazy for You is Madonna comforting and letting go of her old, rebellious self to rebirth (Die Another Day etc..). The beast Within is literally a reading of the Book of Revelation. In wikipedia there's this: Apply it to Madonna's journey and you'll get why she loves to use it and why it is in this place on the show. The same goes for The Girlie Show.
  9. Yes, I understand her sentiment and I believe she respects them and their work, but it seems tacky, especially on a tour that's about her 40 years in the business. They are a grain of salt in her story, it feels forced. They would never do something similar for her. It's weird to see Madonna trying to get validation, like “Look, I'm as big as them and I'm still here!!”. I don't mind the Prince part so much, it seems like an ester egg and he was part of LAP, so... Something like that, less direct, would work better for MJ too.
  10. I noticed that depending on where the person was recording the show you can hear the backing vocals louder than her mic and in others places you hear more of her live vocal. These recordings never capture the real thing, I'm sure it sounds 100% better when you're there.
  11. I agree that Bob having more passages talking about her life/career would make things clearer but people are already complaining and wanting him out as it is, imagine if there was more! But it does go somewhat chronologic 80s fun > 80s rebel > 90s transgression > 90s, 00s Spirutal Awakening and broadment of her career > Present: Bitch She's Madonna and she's not going away soon.
  12. A solo Like a Virgin performance like the one from Rebel Heart Tour would work wonders before Bitch I'm Madonna to warm up the audience with a sing a long. She doesn't need to dance like a maniac, it would work with her just walking and interecting with people.
  13. Having watched the show yesterday and a lot of videos I'm inclined to say that this is one of the best tours, I don't understand people complaining about the narrative, I think it's great and clear. I don't miss the band and Stuart did a great job using the original multracks, the show sonically sounds cohesive, something that hasn't happened since the Sticky & Sweet Tour in my opinion. Having said that, I think that this increasingly recurring habit of Madonna cutting second verses, bridges, breaks went too far in this show. It works with Vogue because of the nature of the performance but I would do it to Erotica/Justify rather than Hung Up, it needs the second verse to really explode. La Isla Bonita/Argentina doesn't work either, I would choose either one and sing the whole song, it would work better and the arena would collapse. I think the interludes are longer than usual but I understand why, I just think there was a lack of something new, with new images of her, something more uplifting. I really think that Like a Virgin/Billie Jean has no place in this show, and the ending needs to be extended a little, but we'll see if there's anything to be changed in this part in the next shows.
  14. I knew that the people who weren't here yesterday witnessing the triumph that was the show would be quicker than a ray of light to show up today... new name and all!
  15. Jesus... the drama! Just don't go/buy a ticket. There's no need to go for witch hunt, it's the second show still.
  16. I was hoping for at least the first hand of shows to be performed on time but here we are... gonna give her the benefit of the doubt because maybe it was really technicals issues that made her start a little late, but, Jesus.... Is it that hard to start the show 30min earlier? Let's pray this time she won't pull out another MDNA Chile disaster starting the show with Erotica, or ending it with Argentina...
  17. Save it for the upcoming (LOL) deluxe editions, it's gonna be pricey!
  18. If you place audio from different shows on top of each other from her tours since 2001 you will see how much live the show was, or wasn't, really... I Mean, the "live" band has been a prop for 90% of the shows. MDNA, Rebel Heart and Madame X especially. I can see why they though there was no point having one.
  19. This is already on her top 5 tour segments. Just brilliant. Her laying down on the bed with "herself" and the performance of Justify My Love is so moving. It really captures how she must have felt during the early 90s when she kept going while everybody was trying to shame and discard her and how sex for her is a weapon of healing and defiance.
  20. My two centes about the show and how it narrates her career/life. "Nothing Really Matters", "Everybody", "Into the Hollywood Groove", "Burning Up", "Open Your Heart", "Holiday" the first part of the 80s, a joyful and celebratory pop. Then late 80s with "Live to Tell" and how the AIDS crisis made her lose people and how it affected her life, culminating in her questioning things and the development of her work and rebellion against religion/patriarchy: "Like a Prayer"/"Unholy”/"Act of Contrition". Then the sexual and queer defiance of her work in 90s with, "Erotica", "Justify My Love"/"Fever" (Medley), "Hung Up on Tokischa"/"Hung Up" (Medley), "Bad Girl", "Vogue", "Human Nature". "Crazy for You" how it all comes down to love after all the controversy (or you could see it as how she re-invented herself as a ballad singer in the mid 90s to "save her career" if you're cynical lol). "Die Another Day", "Don’t Tell Me" is her drive to keep her head up and keep going no matter what. "Mother and Father", 'La Isla Bonita", "Argentina". about her wounds from the loss of her mother and how important it was to make Evita and how it ended up closing a circle with her becoming a mother there. "Bedtime Story", "Ray of Light", "Rain" her rebirth and spiritual awakening after Lola which culminated in ROL and gave a twist , a revival, survival to her career. "Bitch I’m Madonna"/"Give Me All Your Luvin'" (Medley) , "Celebration"/"Music" (Medley) is where she is now, being the baddest bitch who refuses to go away and to live up to people's expectations.
  21. I'm not trying to tear anyone down to lift Madonna up, but remember that NO OTHER POP BITCH will be giving this high level of artistry, commitment, motivation, drive, fire and love 40 years into a career and at 65 years old. BE THANKFUL MOTHERFUCKERS, we stan the best pop artist ever and we still have her.
  22. I noticed that too, think that's why they had to reset the show. After the show got back it got a lot better.
