  1. They are indeed very different. I'll always love Tina and not being able to see her in concert is one thing I do regret.
  2. To be fair though, the Gaga fans of 2012 behaved very differently to the Gaga fans of 2024. Oh no. The Celebration Tour was probably my favourite concert I've ever been to (well, except Springsteen) but I'm not going to deny that Tina Turner was the best thing ever to hit a stage. Literally that woman had everything in bucket loads. While Madonna is amazing in concert, Tina was in a league of her own... Somebody completely unmatched. That's my opinion of course (And before anyone jumps on me, just no, I've literally said nothing negative about M)...
  3. She thanked Cleveland though? Am I missing something? It was her Facebook story yesterday
  4. Cleveland is the best I've heard so far too. Although her mic doesn't sound as loud as it does on some other shows... And she's actually in time with the backing vocals for the first time ever 🤣🤣🤣🤣... Let's be honest nearly every show she's half a second out of time for most of the performance and it doesn't sound nice 🤣 Although, can you hear the way the note goes so wrong on 'give me comfort'? Jesus. That's pitch correction right there.
  5. Theres a few bits I'd like to see cut, which would actually make the show far better in terms of a stable level of quality. One part of the show though that I believe is absolutely flawless is everything from the opening to Live To Tell. That is one hell of an opening section. Then it gets a little ropey in places and varies between brilliance and mediocrity where I kind of wish she had done a test show. But it is what it is. I still think with some slight changes it could be the best 90 minute Vegas show ever to hit the strip should she want to make mega bucks and stay in one place.
  6. Plus it doesn't need to sell out to make money. Yep. 100% yep. It was visually and sonically and absolute mess, and the only part of the show I thought looked poor and amateur. On the footage from a distance it looked okay, but up close it looked dreadful. Nah.
  7. Right on every level. Also the worst look in the show. It should be axed, it was a drag even on the front row.
  8. I wish she had incorporated a brief segue of Dance 2Night somewhere, maybe between one of the Boxing section songs.
  9. I could hear live vocals in Stockholm, but nothing as clear as this. Yeah it doesn't sound that good, but it sounds 100% better than I would have expected Everybody to sound live in 2024. To be fair her mic sounds super scratchy and I don't think that helps. Into The Groove sounds much more live than normal also, normally its mostly track with a low in the mix mic. Into The Groove actually sounds better than the nights she sang it live on Sticky! Absolutely
  10. One thing the S&S mix was not is flat. It's her best quality live mix ever in terms of dynamic range. Yes it is a worse sounding concept than anything Price ever produced, but it is by far her strongest, punchiest sound mix ever released, even if it is made pretty much entirely of artificial studio sound. Confessions is more pleasing and cohesive sounding production on DVD, but the actual quality of the sound on Sticky and Sweet and how it is mastered is a significantly better production.
  11. @Curtains4 Minutes was definitely not Lipped in Santiago...
  12. So, most Vogue performances sound nothing like in the Antwerp shows. Sure. I'm happy to do a post in that thread when I get time to think.
  13. Well, the original vocals are pre-recorded vocals as they're not being performed live... But I think I you mean Re-Recorded vocals, aka Pre-Recorded Live Vocals. Yes some songs do! The ones I can think of at the moment are: Into The Groove, it's a 50/50 mix between playback and live singing, if not actually louder playback generally than live singing in the mix on most shows. Holiday has pre-recorded live vocals in there, especially those autotune sounding 'holidaaaays' at the end which I'm pretty sure are mimed and not even mixed live. Vogue is a pre-recorded live vocal for the most part. You can tell she's singing live along with it, but the lead vocal in the performance is never her live mic, and you can tell in person and on videos that her mouth and expressions don't match the sound at all.
  14. So. I've only heard bits of the clips above but I dont dislike any of it. I won't be going to parklife despite being local, but I wish her all the best. I quite like her sound.
  15. Really pleased you liked it! It really is her best tour!
  16. Oh wow, I had to walk for over an hour after the show, and then go straight to an airport in a taxi... It was horrific 🤣.... Never have I ever been so excited to spend €4plus each on 500ml bottles of soda... Dry isn't the word 🙄
  17. And then there goes the predictable McDonna laugh reaction because he has nothing of any actual intelligence to say...
  18. That isn't being a fan, that's being obsessive and it's unhealthy..being a fan is appreciating her art. Some here it's almost creepy as they're beyond obsessed. If you spend so much of your time defending a woman you don't know to obsessive level, and can't tolerate the varying options of others that isn't healthy... It's actually pretty pathetic and certainly pretty sad.
  19. Given the quality of the video they threw together for the press around opening night, I actually wouldn't be surprised if they film it with the in house cameras this time. The footage was beautiful and more than good enough for broadcast. As far as we know they could already be putting the DVD together (I hope so!!!).
  20. I'm referring to literally everything they defend her for, not necessarily just this. Some fans are so over invested they get genuinely outraged when somebody criticises her. If the glove fits ;)
  21. To be fair, some fans are way too emotionally invested in her and feel the need to defend a woman who doesn't even know they're alive.
  22. They've been out for years Enrico
  23. You feel sorry for her? This has absolutely nothing to do with her 'problems'. She's been doing it for over a decade, its a total dick move. Virtually every other artist manages to be on time on average. As much as I love the show, and I was quite happy with a late starting show as I had hotels booked, I hope she loses the lawsuit and it has an impact on her behaviour moving forward, or Live Nation comes down hard on her. It's not fair that people are not able to see a full show they've paid hundreds to see because M wants to start half an hour before the last trains. It's a joke. It doesn't affect her but it affects the audience and it's entirely disrespectful.
  24. On one hand I agree with you, but on the other I just think you know what, it's one night with months and months worth of notice. Fans could get a hotel and make a trip away of it, as everyone knows she's always late.
