  1. I know that this may sound very unpopular but... Doesn't anybody think that Lady Gaga has evolved a lot throughout only 13 years in the business. I don't wanna justify controversy ( We all know who inspired a lot of custumes, we've all heard Born This Way) but I have to give credit where credit is due. She is a very versatile artist and has a lot of talent up her sleeve. And personally, I think she's more accessable to her fans than a lot of other artists that are as successful as her.
  2. It's funny because hadn't @DanKpointed that out in his Youtube comments and without his wonderfully upscaled video, I wouldn't have known. To me, the cuts to the Olympia are not the worst thing. Idk, maybe the should've promoted MDNA and RHT with 'deffinately featuring at least one shot from a show you went to'
  3. Seriously, I think it's time to make peace with it. Make your peace with it like she did before the BAT ended. I loved the Madame X era, I think it's a brilliant album and I was devastated when my show got cancelled. But I think we gotta prepare for another atrocious, seizure-inducing f*ckfest of instagram effects and 4 different angles per beat.
  4. It is, actually. Certain traders have it in their collection.
  5. Yes, actually the band played in the backstage area. Madonna posted a lot of content showing the musicians.
  6. I agree with a lot of your opinions but I also think that because the choreography on her last two tours wasn't as rigorous, she improved a lot vocally. The 'singing' in Sticky & Sweet was not so subtley covered up with studio vocals and pre-recorded ones in many parts of the show. In MDNA she sounded somewhat believable but lip synced most of the opening section or sang over backing tracks. (We have all heard the mic feed) But that's getting me way off topic. Do you believe that she is happy with her voclas on this tour. I've read a few comments on here in which she got praised for them. People loved her performance and said that the fan recordings don't do them justice. Let's hope that she isn't involved in 'improving' them.
  7. Oh wow. Confessions was a masterpiece for sure. I don't care if some songs got tweaked with studio vocals because eveything seemed realistic. The crowd noise was convincing enough and the overall production value was great. I read some time ago that she did the complete show from top to bottom with no audience just to get better closeups. Now that is what I call dedication to an art form. And I don't (only) mean to praise M but also Jonas for that! I can try to outdo you by challenging you to imagine a perfect world where Jonas released the full RIT concert from Paris.
  8. Although W.E. was shot beautifully and I do give her credit for her directing ability. Editing-wise, you're correct. I have seen some screen-feed snippets from RHT Sydney and they were perfectly fine. The could have released it March 31 after the tour ended. The visuals are amazing, her engery was on point. Maybe a little editing with little mishaps and she'd have been good to go. The result that was officially released is devastating and underwhelming in so many ways. The only song that I am not as uncomfortable justifying the cuts and outfit changes might be Rebel Heart because it fits the narrative. Everything else is a mess!
  9. Seriously, they should have recorded two shows (a third one as a backup, maybe) with the same hair, same makeup, same costumes, same playlist and 'somewhat' similar banters. Beyond that point M shouldn't be involved at all! Let the editors do their work, show her the workprint, tweak it a little and then release this recording as it was intended. I remember a lot of fans praising her for the vocals on this tour, so no post-production needed!
  10. Finally got my hands on RHT screen recording snippets. Best thing ever since lockdown started. Lol

  11. I just realized that so many fans on here have such fond memories of her concerts, I almost got a little emotional remebering all the great times I had when I saw her live.
  12. I can't really tell if it was because she was running late but I know that she started doing soundchecks with fans as early as S&S 2008 at the last leg in São Paulo in Dec. 2008. During the 2009 leg of the Sticky & Sweet Tour fans got to see several soundchecks. At the show I attended (MDNA, Vienna, July 2012) soundcheck started around 3 p.m., doors opened at around 4, so we were lucky to witness most it.
  13. From what I remember full dress rehearsals shortly before the show was kicking off in Tel Aviv were performed several nights throughout May 2012. Madonna was seen on stage in full costume but a stand-in performed the same show for M to see it from an audience member's perspective. There were videos online of those dress rehearsals. As for soundchecks, she did several of them with a decent amount of lucky fans (most of them early entry, golden circle or Premium VIP ticket holders) already in the venue. There are several videos on YouTube showing her in broad daylight, only waring sweatpants and a specific part of the costume she would put on later for the actual show. I think the most rehearsed songs were EY, GMAYL, TUTR, I'm Addicted & Celebration The reason she rehearsed EY so often was because the gloves she wore were not helping with grip on the baton, for instance. She rehearsed TUTR a lot because of the guitar, obviously. In Milan she rehearsed it turning her back to the audience, barely singing at all, not playing a guitar. Only god knows why. At the south american leg of the tour she performed a lot more songs-almost half a show. It really became a celebration in and of itself. The soundchecks in Cordoba, Medellin and Porto Alegre had the most passionate fans, screaming and cheering as if the 'proper' show had already started. Later during the tour at soundchecks she would also perform the opening numbers that were 100% lip-sync. In Buenos Aires she rehearsed Don't cry for me Argentina during soundcheck wich was very intimate and also provided insight in how she approaches new arrangements with her musicians.
  14. I can only quote her on this endless trail of waiting for yet another underwhelming release: 'I don't care anymore, it's giving me a headache'
  15. Can someone please leak the RHT screen recording, puhleease!?!

  16. Typically he records much material from every show he goes to. He has full screen recordings of several Rebel Heart Shows. I think it started back in 2005/6 with the Confessions promo & Tour. He also has hidden gems that are unavailable to the public ripped from TV reports, rare, unreleased interviews, etc. I asked him for a decent recording of a RHT show but he said that all he can provide was the content he posted online. I wish that someone would convince him to share at least some of this rare stuff. I believe his name is Jamesy, not sure about that? Hopefully someone who knows him could get in touch, but idk. I really got hyped when I recently discovered some of his amazing screen recordings!
  17. Hi there, because I've participated in a thread regarding M's cringe moments, I decided to open one that is about the infamous quotes our queen has uttered. I know that many people's knowledge about M is encyclopedic in this forum, that's why I wanted to ask for some help because I can't, for the hell of it, find the ones that I'm gonna list: 'Age is just a number. Do you fuck a number?' I don't know if this was just bad paraphrasing or if she really said that? 'Partying is an art form that we should all aspire to be great at!' I know for a fact that she recently said that but I don't remember the era/show/concert. Thank you for your help and I'm looking forward to be graced by some more unforgettable statements!
  18. The #grillz I couldn't believe when she got them she was wearing them to seriously try to distract from the fact that she got her face botoxed beyond recognition. It was a pathetic stunt. And I have hated each and every instance she opened her mouth trying to speak, let alone sing, wearing them. And don't get me started on her additction to surgery. I was okay with her trying to stay young and relevant way past 2008. I even tryed to justify her boob job before the MDNA era because 'she always got surgery before a new tour since 2004' is what I explained to people criticizing. But now in her early 60s, it's really unfortunate and unsettling.
  19. Thank you for your appreciation. I like the fact that you consider it a journey, like I do. I try to increase my effort to convey that feeling with my edit. If you have any suggestions, please share them. XOXO
  20. EDIT: sorry guys, it's not been up for even a minute but already got a copyright strike. Uploading to mega now EDIT 2: ok, so the quality is really bad because I had to rush it but you get the idea Preview FANMADE Madame X Documentary Hi Guys, I'm afraid M wont release the DVD soon, so, I decided to take matters in my own hand. This is what I've created so far. I know it's not perfect and it certainly is not even close to being finished. I just wanted to upload it to Youtube so that you get an idea of what I'm trying to produce. I was thinking about continuing with Come Alive or Frozen (still undecided but right now the last part is where she explains the lyrics for Come Alive) [Hidden Content] And the following text your going to read is from my notes app, so tell me what you think. I try to be as openminded to your input as possible because this project should first and foremost be fan service! XXX Come Alive o Froen? Killer from Doc Philly 'important historical city, declaration of independece... bla bla bla' American Life Beer stool? Money funding New years/helicopter ride/pleasure sailing Injury shit Supercut of all crew in prayer circle 'Thank you to M' Ballad — Frozen? 21. Oh wow! Thanks, this is so great. I love that they interviewed gay dancers for this. Words can not describe how deeply connected I felt when I saw this.
  22. Hi Guys, please help me out. I can't find a certain mini–doc from ~2016. It featured interviews with the dancers about the backlash M and her crew had to deal with when the show visited Moscow and St. Petersburg. Thank you very much!
  23. I agree on the Avicii version of RH (the radio-friendly mix, not the boring final album version). I think that BIM as a single was a complete disaster. It didn't work with GMAYL back in 2012, so, she should've learned from that. I absolutely loathe both those tracks. Though, I can stand the Just Blaze mix of GMAYL she played on the MDNA Tour. Also, I do like the heavy bass in the RHT version of BIM but that's quite about it. Besides, it's one of her worst second songs that ever made it into a setlist for a live concert. Personally I love the Offer Nissim version she performed during the brief promotion and on the RHT but I get that with its long intro and unvocalized breaks throughout large portions of the song it wouldn't have gotten much airplay either. The dull album version is just boring to me and I never listen to it, unless Spotify adds it to a generic playlist. The fact that a hacker leaked many unfinished demos was not a PR stunt to me and I guess it hurt her album sales. But the fall at the BRITS, on the other hand, did get her some press, from what I have read complimenting her for handling it like a showbusiness-pro and proving that she still got the stamina, energy and physical strenght other artitst half her age should envy her for. Ghosttown is a decent single but not suitable for a second one. A fourth? Maybe a third? I think Iconic whould have been perfect for a first single. To set the theme, get the promo going.
  24. Hi guys, this is the project I have recently been working on. It contains most of the songs M performed during her acoustic segment. IT'S A VERY LOW Q RENDER! I did that on purpose for several reasons, one was upload time, one is other people re–uploading claiming the work as their own, and because it's not even close to finished. Anyway, have fun! Songs included are: Living for Love (Tokyo Day 1) La Isla Bonita (Tokyo Day 1/ Showtime release hybrid) Don't tell me (Tokyo Day 1) Take a Bow (Tokyo Day 2/Sydney HQ hybrid) Rebel Heart (Tokyo Day 1&2/Sydney HQ hybrid) Like a Prayer (Stockholm/Sydney HQ hybrid) Ghosttown (Ellen show recording/Guitar cover hybrid) Secret (DWT recording edit) Crazy for You (Virgin Tour/RIT hybrid) Please let me know what you think, if you are interested in a full edit AND if you can help me out here with some screen recording I tried to scavange for quite some time now. Lol
  25. You include Sticky & Sweet on a list of enjoyable audio releases? It was nothing but atrocious. I would even say that MDNA wasn't the worst production, but I agree on RHT. Her live vocals were buried under countless layers of Studio vocals, don't get me started on the editing, though.
