Page Six: Disappointment as Madonna brings Kelly Ripa onstage instead of beloved former background singers, Niki + Donna

"Haris and De Lory were invited as Madonna’s guests and had prominent seats near the stage, an insider told Page Six.

But when the moment came on Monday, some fans were stunned and saddened when she brought out Ripa to join her on stage."

“Madonna didn’t even akcnowledge them,” a concertgoer told us.

"It’s unclear if the trio caught up backstage or after the show."

"Ripa had the time of her life too. She attended the concert with her husband Mark Consuelos, Anderson Cooper, Andy Cohen, Demi Moore and Amy Schumer, who we’re told “walked in with a ski cap, so no one would notice her.” She eventually took off the cap when the lights went down. Uma Thurman, Ana Navarro, Jessica Seinfeld, Maripol and downtown cabaret artist Joey Arias were also in the crowd."

A big joke... rumors that in the second half of 2023 she will come to Brazil? Doesn't anyone look at the shows already booked on the Tour before releasing something as absurd as this? Alright....she will cancel the European leg of the Tour just to come to Brazil in the second half of 2023...this rumor is meaningless...

The journalist who contributed the article in La Tercera was the one who started the rumors and he deleted the article from La Tercera on Instagram as well. I don't know if you saw that Imperio Madonna just replicated Carlos Sanchez Nieto's message. I'll reiterate: there was never a rumor in Brazil by Brazilian journalists or producers about her coming.

New date in Mexico, right? Time will tell who is right... I hope I'm wrong...

    According to new information:

This tour will end in Mexico. There was never any rumor from any Brazilian producers about Madonna coming to here. Even the journalist from Chile who started the rumors has already deleted it from Instagram.

Reportedly, it is speculated that there will be three more dates in Mexico (total of seven).

There would be no shows in South America, Asia, Africa or Oceania.

    Too bad!

If this is indeed true, and I believe it is, I will not see her autobiographical film. If her world boils down to only certain parts of the world, I close the door on her from now on.

You realised that's written by fans not Madonna or Mirwais

'The track can be interpreted as both an expression of Madonna’s devotion to her family and the importance of love in preserving and cultivating all relationships. Madonna elaborates, “I think I’m probably most proud of the family I’ve created… If I had to give up everything, or I could only have one thing, that is what I would hold onto.”

And with this I can agree, as we said before it's not about one single thing but nuances, feelings and different elements. All relationships and Family: both elements of what Guy was part of too.

But not just about Rocco and being a good mum

Believe in what you want...and what's more, it was in many interviews about Ray Of Light that Madonna said that she didn't want to dissect her creative process in order to leave people free to interpret the songs on this specific album for themselves and with based on their experiences and not only through her own experience and expression as writer and composer.

"On Intervention Madonna presents an unrefined depiction of the peaks and valleys of motherhood and an affirmation of her maternal duties. In the first verse she ponders the role she must undertake, tending to the most basic needs of her son and preparing him to pursue his dreams in the future akin to a soaring bird, “I got to make him happy/I got to teach him how to fly/I want to take him higher/Way up like a bird in the sky/I got to calm him down now/I want to save his life.”

Madonna describes the challenging but rewarding role of raising children. Rather than romanticising this depiction, she provides a gritty and realistic depiction of adjusting to motherhood and leaving the spotlight which had once consumed her, “Sometimes it’s such a pleasure/ Sometimes I wanna tear it all down/It’s easy to be lazy/And hard to go away from the crowd.”

Despite the struggles that come with raising children, love is constant and intervenes at times of doubt as Madonna declares in the chorus surrounded by warm and luscious background harmonies, “And I know that love will change us forever/ And I know that love will keep us together/And I know, I know There is nothing to fear/And I know that love/Will take us away from here.” The track can be interpreted as both an expression of Madonna’s devotion to her family and the importance of love in preserving and cultivating all relationships. "The song expresses her care for her son Rocco Ritchie and how life is a tricky balance that we all practice but it can be constructed often when there is a lack of this."

But "Nothing Fails", along with tracks "Intervention" and "X-Static Process," became the centerpiece of the album as a triptych of love songs for Ritchie.[4]

Wiki says its about Guy. And in my opinion, considering the theme of the whole album it might be about both of them...

Its about Rocco.  "I got to save my baby..."

I've worked in touring entertainment for over a decade. I don't need you to lecture me. I guarantee I know more than you.

Any touring "revenue" the public can access does not account for: labor, shipping, travel/work visas, etc. Taking a huge show like hers to a country for only two or three dates - despite it selling out - cuts into the average show profit in a major way. That's the reality. It's a cost vs. gain question for the promoter. And that's what they ultimately look at when routing a tour and deciding what stops they make.

Having said that - as a fan - I hope you get to see her on this tour

     "Everything Everywhere All At Once"

Of course/sure: The decision involves several factors, including the artist's own will/intention. I reiterate: her fans will remember. Gone are the days when people turned a blind eye to neglect and lack of interest.

I love her, but even the love has a limit.

It probably boils down to what makes FINANCIAL SENSE to the tour. Make no mistake - she's looking to make money. You thinking "she must visit my corner of the world" is probably your ego at play. Check that.

It would be interesting for you to check the performance of her tickets/revenue to Brazil in 2008 and 2012 before you conjecture. Furthermore, with all due respect, I don't owe you any explanations about my decisions on what to watch or not, what records to buy or not (without offending you: my money, not yours). Probably Madonna didn't learn from the past: Australia 2016 (Brisbane, two dates: 13,886). Her fans will remember the neglect shown.

    Check that.

But he's not really an entertainment journalist. No one knew that she was doing 4 dates at Mexico, so at this point it's safe to say that no one outside M's team and the show's producers have real info. We all Crave.mp3 to see this tour live, but anxiety is not gonna help us lol. Some people just want attention on Twitter to show that they have “inside scoop that no one else has” when in reality they're just making a lot of random assumptions hoping to be right in at least one. 😅

Also, what I told you about the negotiations in Peru is not a rumor. And Brazil is a must for every tour in the region, so I'm pretty confident that she's going there.

I hope you are right. However, some notes were published today saying that her autobiographical film will go into production starting in March 2024.
