  1. I'm disabled and I cannot drive, so I rely on my mom and other relatives/family friends to take me places. My mom likes Madonna's music(her fave songs of hers are LAP, LIB, and most of her ballads) but is very prudish about nudity and such, so I'm asking, is the partial nudity/toplessness in the sex section real or just simulated with flesh-colored leotards or something? Hard to tell in the mostly mediocre quality bootlegs I've watched on YouTube. I must admit that I very selfishly hoped she'd keep it at least PG-13 for this tour, at least no more explicit than BAT(where she simulated masturbation during LAV to much controversy, but I don't recall any actual nudity on that tour...?), as I wanted to go with my mom and I didn't want her to be uncomfortable. I know, I know, this is Madonna we're talking about, but asking for my mom ;)
  2. In no particular order: Live To Tell-always loved the song, and an important, poignant reminder of all the lives lost to AIDS Bad Girl MJ tribute/Like a Virgin-I'm a BIG Michael fan, so biased AF ;) Open Your Heart Holiday
  3. OMG I love Alice In Wonderland!!! I'm surprised with all her tours, I'm not aware of her ever doing an AIW theme. Maybe she associated it too much with other artists like Gwen, and thought it was too cliche' or cheesy or something? So much potential there. She would look cute in a "sexy Alice" costume, though that might look too much like something from Party City, or her more imperious side would make a good Queen of Hearts, with her dancers as sexy Playing Card Soldiers. @Confessions Lightside-I like your setlist! I think Hung Up works better in a disco section, as it seemed like a bit of a stretch to me that she put it in the sex section. I would've done a sexual/Erotica-themed section with a JML/Erotica mash-up or medley, and put HU in a different section. If she wanted a celebration of joyful hedonism in that section, Deeper and Deeper(similar to the Girlie Show) would've been a more logical choice than HU.
  4. While the '80s are by far my favorite Madonna era, I also have a big soft spot for the post-Erotica, pre-ROL ballad era. I really love the Something to Remember CD for the mix of old and new ballads. I know some view this era as her "selling out" a bit by toning down her image post-Erotica/Sex book controversy, but I think there's a lot to love about this era. She really looked beautiful in this era, and her vocals sounded good. It might be nostalgia talking as I had STR on CD since I was like 10 or 11, and always loved the floral motif on the disc itself.
  5. The shoot isn't bad, she does look pretty in some of the pics, though maybe referencing Marilyn's suicide/drug issues seems not in the best taste, even by M's controversy-seeking standards, as it's a touchy subject nowadays at times, and I like Marilyn, but I feel like her obsession with her has "been done to death"(oh dear, maybe not the best choice of words considering...) at this point...
  6. Love Don't Live Here Anymore! Holy Water or Where Life Begins?
  7. Yep, my local "oldies"(mostly '80s) radio station LOVES True Blue. It's probably tied with Material Girl for most-played Madonna song on it.
  8. Let's see, they could do from the 80s (1) Lucky Star Video (2) Borderline Video (3) Like a Virgin VMAs (4) Like a Virgin video (5) Desperately Seeking Susan (6) Material Girl video (7) Dress You Up/Virgin Tour (8) Shanghai Surprise (9) Papa Don't Preach video (10) Open Your Heart video (11) True Blue video (12) Who's That Girl (13) Like a Prayer video (14) Express Yourself video Wow, what a missed marketing opportunity!
  9. The fact that she's such a chameleon means you could probably make like 20 different Pops, and fans would eagerly collect them.
  10. I can't believe there's never been an official Madonna Funko Pop. Anyone know why this is...?
  11. That's cool. I was wondering if radio stations ever choose deep cuts. My local "oldies" station(which is mostly '80s, and some '70s and early '90s) plays a lot of Madonna, but it's mostly the same handful of hit singles(lots of Material Girl, True Blue, Like a Prayer, and maybe a bit of Borderline, Crazy for You, Into the Groove, Papa Don't Preach)
