difficult question... there are so so many! - the early ones where she is just radiant and charming as hell - the erotica ones, standing her ground, being socially aware and political - i also liked the parkinson one a lot, confessions era. yes british accent, but a really nice cover of her career (in my memory, haven’t watched it in a while)

i do not think she can 'retire', what ever that means... she's an artist through and through. she can scale it down, avoid the mainstream, doing smaller things, giving less of an f, enjoy her life in a different way. but I can't see her stop stopping completely being an artist. she said this many many times, it would be a nightmare for her soul I think. all her heroines worked until they passed away, I just watched a Frida Kahlo documentary yesterday. she seems connected to these kind of people, women, pioneers. with the difference of being a pop performer and having a family, as she also pointed out several times, the struggle, the different idendities. I think she will have her own journey as long as she can.

we cannot ask for updates on madonna's health/ and what exactly happened. not our business at all we can only ask for updates about the tour, the bought tickets, which is purely contract based that's it, besides wishing her the absolute best

i would say - we know something happened to her, it was critical, she's recovering, the world sent her love, full recovery expected - we know all engagements are on pause, including the tour - we do not know what dates are definitely not going to happen, maybe they do not know either, maybe it's pure money/insurance issue, maybe it is not clear what madonna is capable of (she has a loooot of shows ahead of her) - fact, a statement is needed latest on saturday, one week before the official start to bring more clarity to fans and not harm "her brand" -> summary: it's damn tricky!

I guess that if they make a statement, things need to be in place ideally. all needs to be set up for refund, new dates, new opening... but then again, things can happen and it would be best to be very clear at this moment what is definitely not going to happen (all concerts in july for example). i went to paris for mx, my concert got cancelled on the same day. it was ok, it visited friends, but - i really hope they do not do this again on a tour that is all about celebrating this unique artist. she deserves the best, obviously health first, but also her fans that want to celebrate with her deserve the best. fingers crossed for the best outcome on both sides!

that's a complicated question and i agree, it sometimes is astonishing how little she is perceived by the younger generation. everyone knows of her, that’s for sure, but they don’t know WHAT she has done exactly that makes her that famous. to me there are two main factors. first and foremost, her ART. she took several generations on a ride over 4 decades, her ride as an artist, musician, performer and her personal beliefs and attitude. everyone knew of the madonna at every specific time, the new one, the re-invention. the scandal, the enlightenment, the change, the new madonna right now. this has changed kind of after 'hard candy'. both rebel heart and madame x are sort of retrospective in different ways. this aligned with a shift in the industry and audience. as an artist she continued to express herself and made her art MORE COMPLEX. the general public isn’t following the same way anymore. plus, she exhibits her complexity and contradictions - and i love her for that. means, she is not ONE THING. or at least, she hasn’t been branded this way. (of course, also elvis, mj, ... are complex too) - but the 'brand' has been established to make it way more easy to connect to them. madonna, the artist, didn’t wanna do that, especially the last 10 years, she's (rightfully) too proud to continue only as a brand. she wants to create. stay current. BUT, she got it as well and agreed to do her first ever greatest hits tour. working on a biopic. it felt like, she wants to remind the world herself what she did, what she stands for and why we actually all love her. AND, there hasn’t been any sort of documentary to remind a new generation of her achievements. since MTY didn’t do them anymore, nothing big happened. no netflix, nothing. that plays a big part in my opinion too

of course it is weird and somehow unfair to speculate about someone’s health when we don’t know the person personally and the circumstances. and if we do, we do cause we care for an artist that gave us life and love and joy and empowerment , for 4 decades. when the news broke about the bacterial infection, i had the same fear... i thought, oh lord, i hope there is no opioid addiction. i wouldn’t blame anyone if it happens. in case there is something like that, i just hope that it can be handled, treated. also, let's not forget the fact of mental health, stress, pressure. madonna is one of the toughest entertainers EVER, no question about it. but we all have our moments and i think we all wish her to recover well and find the balance she needs to continue what seems so important for her. her family and her art. best case, it was a stupid bacterial infection and she already succeeded and just needs time to rest and gain strength ❤️💛

too early for that. first she needs to recover privately, with her family and friends, not for the public. this can come in a week or so if it goes well. until then we have to trust her friends who say she's ok.

wishing her all the best for her recovery !! i hope she really takes the time that is needed. if she can, she will come back, maybe even doing this tour. maybe not, we will see. it's her nature, art is her happy place as she stated many times. i truly think she wants to tour, she wants to be creative, she wants this life, as risky as it may be. but, i hope she will find the balance and is more lucky from now on. she deserves it.

overall, the strategy is working well for M. the numbers are rising, people talk about her, she becomes either super cool in certain circles again (vulgar) or a popular pop star (popular) again. can't wait to see what they do once the kick off the tour. 🍿
