I was at the Blonde Ambition show where she sang happy birthday to her dad. The footage ended up in Truth or Dare. Interestingly, I could only get tix to the second show but she was sick so the second show became the first for Detroit with the "first" show rescheduled to the next day.

Like a Virgin is my least favorite Madonna album (although I still love it). My issue with it is that it feels less like a Madonna album than any of the others. Admittedly, those three LAV era additions would tip the scales for me and raise the Madonna magic level for me.

The partnership has already yielded a massive treasure chest of video upgrades, major remix streaming additions, Who's that Girl Super Mix on vinyl, Everybody 40 on vinyl, a massive #1's compilation, digital, Like a Prayer 30, and digital True Blue 35. M has also released numerous reimagined classics such as Frozen, Material Gworrrl, and Vogue. There is definitely more to come. I believe that all of the looks that she has been serving are gonna be used for rereleased expanded albums too. There is just too much effort and expense to waste.

Did she sing it on a tour, outside of The Virgin Tour? I cannot remember. Mayber Reinvention?

I have always wondered why Madonna beeped out, You f#@#ed it up? I get the standard omission but the PA version, there was no reason to bleep.

I actually love Dear Jessie. It was such an organic song on an organic album.

I hope so as it is not avaliable on streaming platforms. I think that M fans would stream a lot more if the material was actually available. Even making my own FEL tracklisting was difficult with a streaming platform. Too many missing gems. It is just easier to use my own collection and Madonna.... gets no stream. The catalogue adds are really crucial.

Streaming Bye Bye Baby now. The mixes are fun. Tge song never was promoted in the US so these mixes feel like sonething new (I know that they are not). I really enjoy Madonna remixes from Madonna: The First Album to Music the best. Remixes, industry wide, have been over produced ever since. Both the artist and intent of the song get lost in the over-production. Yeah, there are a few exceptions but in general, it is true. Bye Bye Baby remixes seem true to the original. LUV it. ❤️

Amazon Music has included an extended version of Express Yourself in place of the album version. It is eight minutes long. Madonna - The First Album and the Like a Virgin albums also have alternate length versions as does The Immaculate Collection. Is this intentional or accidental? I kinda like it but am a bit of a purist at times too. It feels weird to alter the original album unless you were going to do an extreme makeover like True Blue 35.

Please do not submit to the naysayers. I actually love your insights. You Can Dance Edits were a complete suprise to me when you mentioned them. Things do change and rumors or not, it makes things more exciting. Sometimes, mentioning things gets action too. People... please remember that we are all on the same side. Madonna alters her photos... yes... I do too a bit whether it is to disguise a wrinkle, undarken my eyes, look more structually chiseled or hide my crooked nose. Madonna has used makeup, photoshop, wardrobe and lighting to alter her appearance for decades, even when she was a twenty something. It is OK. She looks great, even without the filters. Honestly, Madonna was, is and will remain iconic. I rather enjoy the instagram and selfies. Madonna definitely has put more light into the world than she has taken and that is what makes her a legend.

Nah... They have just grown up in a selfie, social media world. They are used to posing and getting the best angles. They lo e hanging up with Mama.
