  1. I cannot get enough of Medellín today. I think that it is a fantasticallically crafted single. To me, it feels like Hung Up and La Isla Bonita had a baby! Love the mix so much. I have been singing it all day long. I have alway enjoyed Medellín.... but today.... it is life for me. 1...2... cha cha cha... What is your guilty pleasure?
  2. Lots of non-album tracks.... love it.
  3. GHV2 actually contains fantastic songs. Two new songs (ala The Immaculate Collection) would have boosted the record but GHV2 was also her first release where digital piracy was so front and center. Album sales, industry wide, plummeted. Including more non-album tracks could have helped as well. TUTBMP, I'll Remember, You'll See, You Must Love Me are all missing. Something to Remember had a lot of non-album tracks and Three completely new tracks. Agree that GHV2 was not as Iconic of a name at The Immaculate Collection. Maybe, GHV2 should have been marketed as The Immaculate Collection - The Second Coming Edition and included the first disc with the original, non-Q sound mixes.
  4. People hate of GHV2 but it really is loaded with great songs. It suffers from omissions only. Madonna left out a lot of soundtrack songs and ballads. If I could change.... I would omit DCFMA and add I'll Remember, This Used to Be My Playground, and Rain (Radio Mix). Not hating on DCFMA but I wanted to keep it one disc. This track list comes in at 79 minutes. 1. Deeper and Deeper (7" Edit) 2. Erotica (Radio Edit Version) 3. I'll Remember (Theme from the Motion Picture With Honors) 4. Human Nature (Radio Version) 5. Secret (Edit) 6. This Used to Be My Playground 7. Bedtime Story (Edit) 8. The Power of Good-Bye 9. Beautiful Stranger (William Orbit Edit) 10. Frozen (Edit) 11. Take a Bow (Edit) 12. Ray of Light (Radio Edit Version) 13. Don't Tell Me 14. What It Feels Like for a Girl (GHV2) 15. Rain (Radio Remix) 16. Drowned World/Substitute for Love 18. Music
  5. I actually love the cover. And there are a lot of remixes/instrumentals. Twice as many tracks as the original album. I really wish that it was a Vinyl release more than a CD.
  6. Although, I have been purchasing every thing, I am disappointed in the focus on vinyl with the reissues. For instance, why can't we have Causing a Commotion/Who's that Girl in any other format? I would stream the hell out of it. Instead, I have an unopened vinyl release. On the other hand, why do we only have True Blue 35 on streaming only? Emily must randomly decide. Haha
  7. I bought mine late as I was not sure about it. Eventually, I decided that it was a Defiantdonna release and I had to have it. Warner told her know and she got her way in the end. Haha
  8. A lot of people in my life agree. I am already slightly over 50 and would never sell them. Haha
  9. Agrees. I got into vinyl last year and I have spent so much and I have not opened any of them as I do not want to affect the value. I think that I paid the most for Hard Candy and MDNA. Erotica was a lot too. But it becomes an obsession where you have to ha e them Ll but they never stop coming. Haha It is almost pointless in my case as I do not even open them but I love the large cover photos. Maybe I should frame them and display but I do not want to be that thematic with my decor. Storage is an issue too.
  10. I will comment on whatever I want. It is a public forum. Thanks.
  11. What is there to be disappointed in? Was yesterday better without these mixes on streaming....? Nope.
  12. I was in Boston and the fans requested Cherish. She said "Oh hell no" and took another request. Ended up with American Life.
  13. Madame X was Urbandonna? MDNA was Urbanadonna? Rebel Heart was Urbandonna? I am confused.
  14. Madonna needs to release a missing streaming single/demo every week from now through the tour. Let's make this truly a Celebration!
  15. I have suspected for a long time that Madonna was recording an album. Could be wrong but she has been spotted in studios here and there over a duration of time and I do not think that it was all for Frozen remixes.Maybe, she is further along than we think. Fits her usual time frame too.
  16. When will Warner fix these counts? I am so curious to know the updated totals. Madonna stated on TV (Fallon) that her count is over 400 million.
  17. I was "surprised" that they released it a day early. Does that count?
  18. I always thought that Like a Virgin was the biggest seller, although it is my least favorite of all of her albums from Madonna through Madame X. I still love LAV but it is number 15 out of 15 for me. (And yes.... I'm Breatless will always count as a studio album for me). Haha. True Blue was my first M album and it is platinum gold.
  19. I am so in love with the Burning Up/Physical Attraction release and neither were ever on my favorites list. When the magic of Madonna hits you, it just does. This lady! 40 years of inspiration.
