  1. WAP was pretty aggressive too. And it was a hit.
  2. Madonna seems authentic and angry in Vulgar. Coming off of the ridiculous comentary on her looks at the Grammys, this seems like an appropriate response. Many of the pics were intentionally unflattering and Madonna deserved better treatment. I am sure the "Go Fuck Yourself" line would not have happened if people would have been civil and respectful. I hated the bleached eyebrows but they did not devalue her. I love Vulgar. This is a "I'm not your bitch" moment and Madonna has earned it. It is not Like a Prayer 2.0 but it is authentic, defiant and brave. Bought me a copy to support and will stream it like mad.
  3. I love it and I think that you are gonna hear it a lot. It is fire!
  4. "Clean" How can "Vulgar" have a clean version? Lol
  5. She is already surrounded by technical people and artists due to the tour. We got videos like Vogue and Jump with tour dancers.
  6. I love the song and it definitely railed against misogyny.
  7. Vulgar needs to be in the tour. A couple of new songs, a la The Immaculate Collection. It is a celebration of forty years, not ten, twenty, or thirty. New tunes will be fun for M too.
  8. Agreed. Vulgar seems purposeful and the message is so positive. A lot of people sing controversial songs just to be controversial. I need a purpose and message, not a rehash of an 8th grade playground conversation. For example, Erotica seemed purposeful to me where Rebel Heart's SEX did not. Madonna tends to have a clear message in her naughtiness. I definitely am a fan of Sam. I just appreciate the diversity here. A lot of their songs are similar. I love Sade and Annie Lennox but the diversity is missing. Vulgar definitely checks all of my boxes.
  9. Vulgar is so much better than I expected. Madonna is very authentic on modern tracks in a way that her 80's and 90's contemporaries just aren't. I actually like Sam Smith but was getting bored with them trying to be Celine or Adele 2.0. I am all in for the diversity within their catalogue. As well, I wish people would stop judging M's new music with her immaculate anthems. Vulgar was not supposed to be Live to Tell, Like a Prayer Frozen or Hung Up. Vulgar is an art piece and perfect for it's message. And it is fun as hell.
  10. Sorry to all the haters (not really) but I love Vulgar. It is a f@ckin bop and so much fun. It really makes me wanna dance. It also feels empowering and perfect for today's socio-political environment.
  11. Maybe she was not allowed to yet.
  12. I love it too. I cannot wait to buy and stream. Number 51 for the dance number ones. I want lots of remixes.
  13. Every song nowadays by every singer gets the Madame X vocal treatment.
  14. Can you even imagine what Revel Heart was supposed to be before the leaks? I love it now but damn!
  15. I wish.... People would have to admit her genius though and they do not seem to ever be able or willing to do so.
  16. The last three eras... I liked a lot and I have loved her since True Blue. Madame X is in my top three but I get that we all love different things. Thankfully, Madonna is diverse enough for her entire fanbase.
  17. My mother definitely was a fan. She took me to the Who's that Girl Tour. My dad would pop in my Virgin Tour VHS, anytime that he wanted me to be in the livingroom. Apparently, Madonna brings the NASCAR fans and the gays together. Haha My daughter listens to a lot of Madonna when she misses me. Her favorites are the I'm Breathless album and American Life. My son, not so much.
  18. Yaysssssss! It is monotonous to complain about something that we have not even heard. What is wrong with people? Hear it, decide, and allow the rest of us to enjoy. There are many songs by many artists that I do not care for.... but I do not sign up for fan blogs and then moan endlessly about how bad the song is, especially when I have not even listened to it. Pathetic!
