  1. I think I missed the Whole Lotta Love post...who sings that?
  2. Anyone else notice the possible tour hints she posted on instagram today? Lyrics to True Blue and Dress You Up!
  3. I signed up for the Icon pass that allowed you access to the pre-sale on RHT tickets, and also came with a gift of your choice (a keyring, poster, or something else) which was set to be shipped out sometime in spring. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Any idea what's going on with these gifts?
  4. I think I would prefer to see Amy than some DJ, not to say that DJs have been bad in the past, but it's not always the most entertaining while you wait for the main show to start. And I could see why Madonna would want Amy of all comediennes--she's so progressive and feminist, a total "Rebel Heart" as Madge might say :mama007:
  5. I love this artwork!! I wonder if it will be the single artwork? It would make a great picture disc vinyl, even if it was just a two-track 7".
  6. Madge and Diplo...I could not see it happening. He's cute though...
  7. I think that BIM could absolutely be released, at very least, as a buzz single, in the way that Kylie Minogue released Sexercize. That doesn't mean it has to be the official third single from the album.
  8. I just tried listening the to the deluxe version of the album backwards--so I started with Rebel Heart and ended the album with Living For Love, and I think in that order it flows much better than the other way around. Give it a try!
  9. My artwork for all the demos and unreleased tracks from this era: I took some inspiration from the NEXT magazine cover, it was just so bright and fun, I wanted to capture that in my artwork for the demos. Check it out in action:
  10. I LOVE the idea of dog tags!! Thank you! That's perfect.
  11. Thanks....but that's a nose/nose-ring...It took me a while to land on an image for Bedtime Stories, because the most prominent image in my mind from that era is the Human Nature video, but I'm already planning on using a mask and riding crop to represent the Erotica era, as you can see in my thumbnails. So I landed on the nose/nose-ring imagery, another fan mentioned it, and it does strike me as something distinctive of that era.
  12. I am a huge fan of French artist Vahram Muratyan's work, and wanted to take a similar approach with my own pop art, to create a series of pieces, each representing a Madonna album. Here are the thumbnails for the project: And here are the ones I have finished thus far (Bedtime Stories, Ray of Light, Hard Candy, and MDNA): What do you guys think? Also, I could really use some suggestions for American Life, still having trouble deciding what to do for that one!
  13. That's not on my copy of the album...are you mistaking the title of a track? Or is that the title of a demo I'm not familiar with? UPDATE: I looked it up! I had not heard this Rebel Heart demo yet!
  14. Ooooh! That's a good one! After posting I also thought that the Confessions Tour version of Live To Tell would make a good bonus track, it's such a great update of the song.
  15. The amount of ballads on Rebel Heart had me thinking about what another compilation of ballads spanning the time since Something to Remember was released would look like. So I looked over the albums that have come out since then, and compiled a list of all the ballads (see below). From Ray of Light... Drowned World/Substitute For Love Frozen The Power of Goodbye To Have And Not To Hold Mer Girl From Music... I Deserve It What It Feels Like (For A Girl) Paradise (Not For Me) Gone From American Life... Nothing Fails Intervention X-Static Process Easy Ride From Confessions... (this album doesn't exactly have any traditional ballads) Forbidden Love (?) Hey You (?) From Hard Candy... Miles Away Devil Wouldn't Recognize You Voices From MDNA... Masterpiece Falling Free From Rebel Heart... Ghosttown Joan of Arc HeartBreakCity Wash All Over Me Messiah Rebel Heart Something To Remember has 13 tracks, so I used that as a basis from my track-listing, and decided to throw in some bonus tracks, because what the hell, this is a fantasy anyway! 01. Drowned World/Substitute For Love 02. What It Feels Like (For A Girl) [Album Version] 03. Ghosttown 04. Miles Away 05. Hey You 06. Joan of Arc 07. Nothing Fails 08. Masterpiece 09. Let It Will Be (Acoustic Version) 10. The Power of Goodbye 11. Devil Wouldn't Recognize You 12. Falling Free 13. Gone 14. Has to Be (Bonus Track) 15. Imagine [Re~Invention Tour Studio Version] (Bonus Track) 16. Like A Virgin [MDNA Tour Studio Version] (Bonus Track) What do you think? What would your ballads compilation look like?
  16. Does anybody know which remix of Living For Love she performed on the show? It was much different than the other performances.
  17. Some Living For Love Remix EP covers I made, thoughts...?
  18. I'm not ready to think about a full setlist quite yet...but there are a few songs I would REALLY like to see revisited, and I think some of the themes of this album present the perfect platform for it: Thief of Hearts, What It Feels Like For A Girl, and other tracks from Music and American Life. I would love for her to revisit the Don't Tell Me/Bittersweet Symphony mashup from the Re-Invention Tour!!
  19. At this point we're a month away from the album release, I wonder when this mythical Super Deluxe version will be available for pre-order.
  20. Okay, good to know. What about where to buy this Super deluxe version? I haven't seen it on Amazon...is it going to be offered through her website or something?
  21. Has any further information come about regarding this super deluxe version that's supposed to have like 30 tracks, including this track called "Queen"?
  22. This whole thing is very unfortunate. I can't believe somebody went and spoiled the anticipation by leaking it like that...okay, I can believe it, but I don't like it >_< I believe her saying that these aren't necessarily the final productions. We all know by now that there are many different demos of several of the songs. This may be what the album may have been one of the many times we thought she was close to finishing/releasing. But it may have been since touched up, tracks taken out in favor of others, newer productions. I admit, that I downloaded the tracks. However, I haven't listened to them, with the exceptions of the two I have already heard (Rebel Heart and Wash All Over Me). I don't want to spoil this album any further for myself, but I thought it would be good to hang onto the demos, should I be curious about how the song(s) may have changed.
  23. I just bought a copy of the new Interview Magazine, and I noticed something in the accompanying article, that I have yet to see made mention of here or elsewhere. Towards the end of the article... BLAINE: NASA put something in outer space that's called Voyager 1, and it's filled with all sorts of human archives, stuff that if, in a billion years, the world doesn't exist, would still be floating out there for some other intelligent life to discover. What relics from humanity would you have put in the Voyager? MADONNA: The music of Chopin. Water, because water is mercy, and you can't live without water. BLAINE: What would you put the water in? MADONNA: A bottle that said "holy water" on it. [both laugh] A scroll of the Old Testament. A chessboard with chess pieces. Something to write with: blank paper and a fountain pen with ink. ...could their laughter at her comment about labelling it "holy water" be because "Holy Water" is one of the tracks on the album? It's one of the tracks rumored to have been written with Natalia Kills. Blaine makes mention of having heard the song "Devil Prays" earlier in the article, perhaps he has heard the entire album, or at very least several tracks, including "Holy Water," hence him laughing at her labelling the bottle of water "holy water" too.
