  1. hi. with all the worlds angst, troubles, animosity, protests, and division going on, i thought it would be fun for us here at Madonna Infinity to put our troubles aside and just have a "feel good Madonna party". please join me by posting or sharing your favorite live Madonna performances, music videos/songs/remixes and moments in her career that just make you feel good. keep it light and fun. lets have a party. to kick off the festivity, let us have a HOLIDAY courtesy of Madonna on her Drowned World Tour.
  2. i love her smile. she is so beautiful. hope her hip and knee heals quickly. i hate to see her hindered by this for the rest of her career which is very much possible for someone her age.
  3. just legal ways to finance her own projects or other people's projects they want to invest in. it is not the same as her fitness or MDNA line, etc. these are just legal companies (in name and money) that help finance.
  4. i am sure if we be patient it all will leak at some point
  5. yes, so that i believe that means the Semtex girls which is she and her friends just sank money into the projects. like an executive producer does for films. they invest in the film, in hopes to make a profit back.
  6. seems to be none other than it making out like the shipping box makes it more unique. seems like a way to sucker someone into thinking it is really something limited. LOL!
  7. both have been around for years. if you look at much of her merchandise as far back as the 80's, you will see "Boytoy Inc". she owns various companies that tie into one another. so there is no website for Boytoy or Semtex specifically. if i recall Semtex is just her and a group of gal pals who invest in projects like films, etc.
  8. $7500, not a chance. but there are some rich fans who will snatch it up.
  9. its a subsidiary of Semtex Girls, a production company owned by Madonna. it finances and backs a lot of her own products. i also believe it is also manages her copyrighted material.
  10. i beg to differ since Immaculate Collection has become her biggest selling album to date. Like A Prayer and Vogue were her biggest selling single records at the time until Hung Up. adding to her peak, BAT was unlike anything she did before. She was in the biggest film of her career. She created this iconic dance sensation with Vogue. i agree musically in 86 and 87 her album/soundtrack/ep combined sales were through the roof. but as a whole i do feel 1990 was her peak. it was downhill from there with various resurgents.
  11. glad you think otherwise. Pat and Stuart only played a small role in her whole touring career and there were some outstanding re-inventions that didnt include them.
  12. actually you did... but i understand what you mean is you like their work the best.
  13. yes, yes. i think it was this version that made me much more of a fan of the song. before i could take it or leave it. it seemed to get better with each new tour.
  14. totally agree. but anywhere in the 80s is a good start.
  15. going to have disagree. i feel 1990 was her peak. a few resurgents afterwards but nothing to the height of 1990. not saying 87 wasnt a high point but i feel she kept soaring afterwards. Dua Lupa's latest album is great. i always make room for new and talented pop artists. it will be interesting to see if she can keep going. anymore most pop artists have one or two good successful albums and then decline.
  16. i would love for it to be live too!
  17. A hot topic some cant handle. LOL! You choose. A song some cant stand while others do. Which performance do you like best of the song Madonna seems to love while most fans dont?
  18. so none of the re-inventions in the 80s and 90s werent? BAT and Girlie Show LAV were genius. Both those tours were at the top of her game and neither were involved as "musical director". i am sure many can argue later tours without the two were equally great without them.
  19. an entitled opinion, but Madonna has been re-inventing her old songs for decades now.
  20. i get the impression that is why she does it. after all, if i wanted to hear the original version i would play the recorded song. i know some of her reinventions werent always great (like Hung Up rock version...awful!), but for the most part ive always enjoyed them.
  21. i love when she re works the songs. i do agree she tends to pull out the same old tracks. though i do think people expect at least songs like Vogue and Like a Prayer. those two are universally her best known songs. there are others of course.
  22. unbelievably creative. love the detail and near exact performance.
  23. oh this gives me ideas. what a cool idea.
  24. i was disappointed that Oh Father didn't become a bigger hit. it was such a haunting song. but it was released during the 4th quarter of the year when people are looking for more festive tunes to play. Oh Father was a bit too depressing.
