Are you sure you’re talking about Danorama and not AvidDiva? Danorama was working with Warner around that time to release a DVD of his work with Madonna. Maybe it was for this boxset. But he didn’t do any additional work and the project didn’t get far enough to be owed any money

I’m not sure if this is a remaster as in using AI upscaling technology or just an HD transfer from the original tapes. Also it’s interesting that it’s 50fps which is the native frame rate for TV broadcasting

Like A Prayer is a great first choice. It’s a very iconic album in dying need of a proper remaster and boxset release. Also a while back an anniversary release was about to be announced and then it vanished and never happened. Maybe that anniversary issue for everyone excited for this entire project and they pulled it off to plan the whole project.

Well so far the only reliable information we have is the official announcement that states EARLY 2022. That can be mean January or March lol. But unless something went terribly wrong I seriously doubt the first release will be only in October. I think we’re getting the first one in the spring (maybe followed up by an RSD special release) and Erotica in October (again followed up by an RSD special)

Isn’t the VMA broadcast the same version that was used as the music video? In that case it’s the Torino performance, same one as the Italian broadcast

For the release of erotica she should do a follow up to the sex book with outtakes, bound in leather and release a very limited edition for like hundreds of dollars

Lol she is one of those “pros” And she’s been extremely involved in all her music so it’s only natural for her to have a say in how these projects are presented.
