  1. IDSIF is actually the Honey Dijon mix from the Insta clips
  2. I didn't need any IP change to see the BS release, you can actually browse every store by changing the language in the URL. At least it works for me, even though I used to have Error 404 type of page by doing that.
  3. Oh yes, it's Thursday! Sadly no new release showing up on Qobuz...
  4. The original version is the one you hear in the multitrack, i.e a 7-minute mix of the "Single Version". So it's pretty clear that's indeed the original version they recorded before remixing the intro. This CD has the instrumental mix of it: https://www.discogs.com/Madonna-Misc-Instrumentals-TV-Mixes/release/6110132
  5. That'd be great, he probably provided the masters for them as he posted an 'updated' mix on soundcloud. Let it come
  6. At least they seem to have used an original 'master' with original audio and not the Celebration edit.
  7. It's showing on Qobuz NZ but the page is not active yet...
  8. I read that for contractual reasons, because of limited amount of new content you can put on a second CD without it counting as a second album, they had to cut it short and add remixes instead (that don't count as new content if of an existing song). Maybe it was M's attempt at finishing her contract sooner at the time, who knows
  9. Those were different times with different markets, it looks a bit useless today because the industry has changed so much and today you can just upload big EPs and albums without worrying about chart rules. This era has also made songs and remixes much shorter because when you count plays it has to switch faster to the next one... Sad times, even though not all artists have fallen for it. This is why we got old school
  10. This is an official release already, as is Live 8: https://music.apple.com/us/album/live-aid-live-13th-july-1985/1435152414 https://music.apple.com/us/album/live-8-live-july-2005/1466093631
  11. Here's an explanation from @Candy Perfume Boy about the 'George Best' mix:
  12. Bertrand and Candy Perfume Boy already explained the story and why it's possibly named that way, have a look in the Audio section, it should still be there somewhere.
  13. Love the Saturday Night Mix, glad they did a complete set once again.
  14. Great that they are doing this in the middle of European lockdowns, I would have liked to see this in the late summer... Herb Ritts is must see ?
  15. The "Bass Dub" is also missing from the LAP single on iTunes, this is getting weird
  16. UK and US CDs have the same files from what I can see and they look identical. It's true that these new versions look slightly fuller, but I don't think it really makes a difference. Tracks 9 and 10 were also vinyl only, they are top quality here. We have a nice complete collection! What's missing is only a better artwork
  17. Technically none of the mixes are promo only, they've all been released somewhere (Demanding Dub in Europe and Alternate Single Mix in Japan). The promo dubs were missed, sadly.
  18. Great question @New_Boy, i'm curious to know too. The earliest 'DAT source' I found on ref CDs is for You'll See, and I think prior to that, Warner used to store media on an older format (1630 machine). That said, the Rescue Me 'Houseboat Dub' is said to be from a DAT master, so who knows. There may have been early copies of stuff on DAT before switching to CD? The Spotlight 'Dub' is also out there, but likely from a more recent process.
  19. It's a tape format but with digital content. If you do a little bit of research, you'll find good explanations:
  20. DAT is digital so it's basically like ripping a CD, I guess. It's what they had kept in their archives, glad they're doing it good
  21. The pellas sound fine compared to what I had and there's no hiss even during the fade out. Sounds legit Better to have good sound and faulty artwork that the other way around!
  22. A CD-R? The only genuine singles are from the US and Japan/OZ: https://www.discogs.com/Madonna-Keep-It-Together/release/299101 https://www.discogs.com/Madonna-Keep-It-Together/release/713288 You might have better chances on eBay or Discogs.
