  1. What tracks have we gotten for the first time in digital quality? Like A Prayer: Instra Dub, Bass Dub, Dub Beats Beautiful Stranger: Calderone Dub Mix, New Mix Edit more tracks?
  2. Full album??? I don't think so... But selected tracks, yes, yes, yes.
  3. Making a version/remix to fix in the Erotica era with her voice, "Love Pains":
  4. I thought Emily was real. A real assistant... I'm not joking. I'm ashamed
  5. Yes, the bitrate in youtube is too low (the worst for a video with fast scenes). But the original video seems HD to me.
  6. I always thought in Frozen like a second part of "Open Your Heart" years later (in a dark/sad tone after the rupture). I'm not joking. "Open Your Heart with the key... /// You're frozen... when your heart's not open" "I follow you around but you can't see /// You only see what your eyes want to see" I love to find "second parts" in her songs. Something like "Take A Bow"-"You'll See"
  7. That's the point. She was trying to please the people who hated her because she did Erotica/Sex. At first, she wanted to do another album with Shep Pettibone, but the backlash was too much for her. In Europe and Asia she was still the queen but in USA, Erotica and Sex almost destroyed her career. Nowadays, Erotica and Sex are seen like masterpieces from a woman who broke the rules. In the Erotica era, if you loved madonna, people insulted you ("You are a fan of a whore").
  8. I'm sorry, but I still see this album as her: "I'm sorry, I've been a bad girl. Now I'm good girl again. Forgive me." It's not a bad album (for me one of her worst). It has three or four amazing songs and the first Madonna's track that I hate: "Human Nature" (I love the lyrics, I really hate the music). Thanks God for "Ray of Light" years later. It was boring to be a fan during the "Bedtime Stories" era. Of course, this is my opinion, not a fact...
  9. Really? Well, using the random play: Click image to make it bigger
  10. Yes, but we still have the same problem, these masters are not the original, these master were made for vinyl. They can sound almost the japanese pressings but the problems are still there (Surface noise, high frequencies a little distorted, the tracking goes and going...) Anyway, with the japanese EQ the tracks sounds really OK: Open Your Heart (Dub) [With JP EQ]: [Hidden Content] Causing A Commotion (Yellow CD) [With JP EQ] [Hidden Content]
  11. As awful they sound, they are my best treasure. Like it or not, the yellow CDs replicate the original 12'' vinyls. And if you have a good audio software, it's very easy to create a new wav that sounds almost identical to the japanese EP (except for "Who's That Girl"). I did a video comparing CDs (The finished result is unpolished because this is just a test): https://mega.nz/file/g0lXSAiJ#2P3yNyROw2XUrjTNQ5CZH4FeQ8rv4kTp-I1cXA2YSzg (59 seconds) The star re-issues sound better. But the japanese EPs have the best quality sound.
  12. The original german 12'' quality is amazing. I think that the problem with the yellow CD was the mastering. They didn't use the original masters. They used the masters created specifically for vinyl pressings. You can't record on vinyl the original signal, you need to filter it, and I'm sure they didn't restored properly the original signal for the CD pressings. Only after Like A Prayer the mastering is right on the yellow CDs (because the masters for CD pressings were created previously in 1989). PS: "Who's that Girl" is the worst CD created ever. Even the speed is wrong...
  13. But only two or three tracks are only available on those German CDs.The rest is available on japanese CDs or similar with good quality. Don't worry.
  14. if my memory serves me well, they are the same, with same running time (4:07) but I need to check them. In the 80s, many B-sides on 7'' are regular versions with early fades. Anyway, don't forget this: Many running times on labels are wrong.
  15. No, they are not the same. The Edit of the Spanish single is just the regular album version with early Fade Out.
  16. What will happen with these B-Sides? US 7'': Papa don't Preach/Pretender UK 7'': Papa don't Preach/Ain't No Big Deal US 7'': True Blue/Ain't No Big Deal UK 7'': True Blue (Remix Edit)/Holiday (Edit)
  17. The "Original Version" was always named "Single Version" on labels since day 1. So this is not the problem with Spotify.
  18. Mmmm Hung Up... Well... I'm agree (But I should be "Express Yourself" or "Live To Tell").
  19. Change "La Isla Bonita (Remix Instrumental Edit)" for the "Remix Edit" and "Fever (Edit One)" for "Edit Two" and would be the perfect singles compilation.
  20. I don't know in other countries, but in Spain, the radio stations replaced all the "single versions" with "Immaculate versions". Only because the Immaculate Collection was available on CD and the original singles on vinyl. Now with the streaming of old singles in digital format, maybe the original singles will be play again.
  21. So all my compilations are sacrilegious. What can I say? I'm a sinner and I like it that way.
