  1. Believe or not, the Erotica era (Sex book included) almost destroyed her career (not in Europe). That's why I've always seen in "Bedtime Stories" and in "Something to Remember" a way of saying "I'm sorry. Now I am good girl again. No more sex".
  2. I love the "Erotica" era and in my opinion the "Sex" book is a piece of art... But as Madonna's fan it was the worst era. It was the beginning of the end. Suddenly people started to hate her with passion, even classic fans. News and TV called her "Whore". Radio stations barely played the Erotica singles. You couldn't talk about her because the reply was always an insult. It was like I was the only one who still loved her (I didn't have internet until 1994). Fortunately, "Ray of Light" was the second coming, and people started to love her again...
  3. No. But I love to dance (that's why I don't understand saying "no" to her in my dream). Well, It's just a dream (or nightmare when she hates you...)
  4. Yes, but always the same stupid dream: I meet her on a plane, and she wants me to be a dancer in her next video clip. My answer is "no" (I don't know why I say "no") and she gets really mad at me. She ends the conversation hating me.
  5. 1. Eliminate the Dick Tracy section. 2. Replace "Causing a Commotion" with "Spotlight" (or similar dance song). 3. Full versions of "Open Your Heart" and "Oh, Father" 4. More serious perfomance of "Material Girl" The rest is simply perfect.
  6. You can dance "Papa Don't Preach", "Open Your Heart", "White Heat", "Where's The Party", "La Isla Bonita", "Jimmy, Jimmy" and "Love Makes The World Go Round" and I keep saying that "True Blue" is not a dance album. You can dance "Like A Prayer", "Express Yourself", "Till Death Do Us Part", "Cherish", "Dear Jessie", "Keep It Together" and I keep saying that "Like A Prayer" album is not an dance album. As I said before, a dance album is not the same that have a group of catchy songs in an album that you can dance. If Madonna have 100 singles, at least you can dance perfectly 85 singles (remixes not included). For me, for example, a dance album is something like "Confessions", "Bad Girls" by Donna Summer, "One Love" by David Guetta, or "No limits" by 2 Unlimited. I mean, an album created to be fully played in a dance-club/discotheque with a specific style of music (Disco, Techno, etc, etc, etc).
  7. Honey, people can dance everything, even Live To Tell. Maybe I totally miss the point about the meaning of "dance album".
  8. A dance album it's very different to a dance song. Erotica is not a dance album, but you can dance "Deeper And Deeper" or "Fever (Edit One)". You can dance many of her catchy pop singles (or her remixes). That's the reason why many people thinks that Madonna is a dance-artist.
  9. "Hard Candy" a dance album? it's not an album with ballads, but "Hard Candy" it's not a dance album. Only "You Can Dance", "Confessions on a Dance Floor" and "MDNA" are real dance albums. And I agree, we need another dance album.
  10. "Rebel Heart" (The Full Demo Album) is a masterpiece. It's so good... I really can't stand the commercial album. But this is like the "Blond Ambition Tour" or the "Re-Invention Tour", she will never release the "Rebel Heart" album with the original mixes.
  11. You are forgetting -True Blue (Edit) -Causing A Commotion (Movie House Edit) -Like A Prayer (7'' Version) -Like A Prayer (Fade) -Dear Jessie (Fade) -Oh Father (Edit) and the only promo versions: -Like A Prayer (7'' Dance Edit) -Express Yourself (Remix Edit) -Keep It Together (7" Remix)
  12. Well, I not agree... Not everyone lives in a big city. Try to see Evita in a small cinema with mono sound (stereo with lucky). Too loud but with the quality sound really bad (I'm talking about 20 years ago). Give me Evita on Blu-ray or 4k with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 in a big TV screen. That is an incredible experience, better than my hometown cinemas.
  13. I had a bad experience when it was released in my hometown in Spain. The cinema was packed, but many young people believed that "Evita" was a regular movie with a pair of Madonna's songs. After 60 minutes the young people started to complain out loud because the movie was a musical, and after that they started to leave the cinema. At the end, the cinema was half empty. It really was a sad experience.
  14. I don't want a "unreleased" songs album. They remain "unreleased" for a reason. But I love the idea of special boxes for every album with remastered singles, remixes, and unreleased songs. That's the way. Something like Liza Minnelli - Result (Remastered & Expanded 4-Disc Edition)
  15. Express Yourself, the song that made me fan... First I hated the album version, then the video premiered with the Shep Pettibone remix and suddenly I loved with passion the video and the Shep Pettibone remix. I was obsessed with the video and the remix. So I became a fan thanks to "Express Yourself". Now, of course, I love the album version, but it's my least favorite version. Other tracks: Erotica, Justify My Love, Bedtime Story, Fever, Living for Love and many more. Now I can't live without these songs. I don't know why Madonna's songs always works in me in this way, I usually don't like her songs at the first play but after three or four replays, I really start to love them. Maybe it's because she never never recycles her old songs
  16. Never, never, NEVER trust in the running time. Always are wrong. For example: Express Yourself (Remix/Edit) is 5:01 but it's mislabeled as 4:50 on the CD and 7'' vinyl. The same with the "Non-Stop Express Mix". It's 7:58 and it's always mislabeled as 7:54. And many tracks have more or less silence before start the song (Album, Maxi, Single, Digital download, etc). This also happens at the end. So the same version can have between one or five seconds of difference. Even sometimes the same version can have different speed (imperceptible, but there it is) and the longer the song is, the differences between the running time are greater. Remember, Madonna recorded many songs in the analog era. I'm sorry, english is not my first language so I don't know if I've explained this well in english.
  17. That is interesting. I remember my local radio station playing the demo of "Beat Goes On" when it was leaked on internet.
  18. I've just downloaded the rar file and I don't have any problem. Delete the file and try to download the rar file again. Use Winrar to extract the files. Check the file size: 508 MB (533,075,824 bytes)
  19. When the single "Justify My Love" was sent to the radio stations, in Spain many local radio stations started to play the B-Side: "Express Yourself (Immaculate Collection Version)" instead the A-Side: "Justify My Love". Yes, they played "Justify My Love" but they played more "Express Yourself" in those days. Do you remember something similar with another Madonna' single? a B-Side played more than a A-Side at your local radio station?
  20. Here it is (Use the CUE file to play the WAV file): [Hidden Content]
  21. The radio stations plays the version they have (for example, a local radio station in Spain played every day during the summer of 1989 the full 7:58 version of "Express Yourself" because Warner send to them the commercial 12'' vinyl instead the promotional 7'') . I mean, it's rare to send to a small local radio station a full Album, only singles. So, at least in Spain, they played the single version of TUTBMP in local radio stations. But I remember the promotion of "Barcelona Gold" as full album, so they played the "album version" too in big radio stations ("Barcelona Gold" was called "the official music album of the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992") In short: the radio stations played the version that Warner send to them.
  22. Like I did with "Hung Up" & "Jump", I've added Celebration DVD audios (PCM 2.0 & AC3 5.1) to the Erotica video. The video from youtube is untouched. [Hidden Content]
  23. Yes, it has better quality: Celebration DVD : Youtube (Without black bars):
  24. No. But youtube has a lossy 44100 Hz audio track.
