  1. It's from the MLVC Podcast. They're pretty reputable and often have inside sources.
  2. Looks like she's rehearsing again. And not a standard sound check rehearsal. They've taken the time to tape out the staging in a separate rehearsal space. I could be wrong but that tells me that she might be adjusting some parts for this next leg. Otherwise why would they go to that trouble?
  3. Still waiting on my shirt that I ordered a month ago that was supposed to be 3-6 day shipping at an extra $13 cost. No update from the online store.
  4. How do you define "professionally recorded"? The cameras that feed to the screens on the Celebration Tour are high-end 4K Cannon cameras that move on a rig. Just like many modern movies and music videos are shot. Yes, they may need to bring in an overhead crane or two for a few nights of crowds shots/wide shots/etc to supplement that footage. Beyonce and Taylor both used similar on-stage/video-feed shots for a majority of their concert films. I imagine Madonna will too. It's cheaper in the long run, less distracting to the audience, and works just as well as hiring a full-scale film crew to shoot multiple shows. It's not 1999 anymore.
  5. They're filming with Cannon 4K cameras. Just because they're small doesn't mean that they aren't top of the line and state-of-the-art. It's not 1992 anymore and we don't need bulky 100lb. cameras anymore. Agreed on the distracting part - with camera operators on stage during Open Your Heart etc. but those screens that the video is fed to are a big part of the show and I'm not sure how they'd do it otherwise.
  6. They did the exact same thing for Rebel Heart Tour but with less cameras. That's why the Like A Virgin section of the RH bluray had her with multiple outfits/hair/hats. It's not a stretch to say that they are keeping the footage like they have in the past. Why wouldn't they? Concert filming has evolved past the one or two night recording that it used to be. I guarantee you that they are saving this footage for use later and will only film what needs to be supplemented for broadcast. It's cost-effective and smart and exactly what Taylor/Beyonce just did.
  7. Every single show has four or five 4K cameras filming at all times.
  8. Or we just show up at a later time like most of us have been doing since Drowned World....... I expect it and plan accordingly.
  9. Bowen Yang mentioned on his podcast that some of the cast of SNL were "offered tickets" to Thursday's show but most of them are too busy to go due to their shooting schedule.
  10. Putting it out there ---- If anyone in the NYC area goes to the pop-up shop and they have any of the watercolor tshirts (other than the True Blue one currently on her online store) I would be forever grateful if we could workout a way for you to buy it and me Venmo you the cost plus shipping (and maybe a little extra for being a great person).

  12. Finally! Just bought the watercolor tshirt. Didn't love that the cheapest shipping/handling option (3-6 business days) was almost $13 extra. Oh well.
  13. I still see the True Blue watercolor portrait shirts. But were all of the other watercolor portrait tshirts just for the opening in London? I know I'm in the minority but I liked some of them.
  14. Reinvention Tour - Atlanta Sticky & Sweet Tour - Houston Rebel Heart Tour - Miami Madame X - Chicago (night 1) Madame X - Chicago (night 2) and coming up..... Celebration Tour - Pittsburgh Celebration Tour - Dallas (night 1) Celebration Tour - Dallas (night 2)
  15. Interestingly - even Bob the Drag Queen is using a pre-recorded backing track. At least for the "It's a celebration bitchessssssss" part. You can clearly hear his live voice vs. the pre-recorded track in your video. I'm assuming they use a backing track for that portion of his speech so that the cue isn't missed for NRM to start and Madonna to appear.
  16. He also played a new remix of "Rescue Me" that I saw someone recorded on Instagram. I can't find the video now though but it sounded good.
  17. All of the American shows still have two dedicated general admission pits.
  18. Madame X in Chicago - night one. I was 5th row on the aisle. About 15 minutes into the show, some drunk guy thought he could walk from his seat in the back of the theatre and stand directly in front of me. I let him know that he needed to get the fuck out of my way. Security escorted him back to his seat.
  19. It sounds like she says "Give me the cues!" during the first verse. Can't tell what she's saying when the chorus kicks in. I wonder if her ear monitors were out of sync or something.
  20. All of the art is based on Dali's "Passage of Time" which you can read about below. It helps to understand the distorted images and the melting "O" in the logo. The inspiration makes total sense. The execution is lack-luster though in my opinion. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Persistence_of_Memory
  21. What evidence do you have that the program was a “best selling item”? I imagine that if it were that they would be continuing to produce and sell one. The fact is that printing costs these days are increasingly more and more expensive. Not to mention the cost for a designer to create it.
  22. With streaming and televisions rapidly transitioning to 4K, who is buying DVDs today? DVDs are two generations behind and pretty poor quality by 2023 standards. You'll get better quality watching a fan-made Youtube video filmed on an iPhone than you will on a DVD. 4K UHD > Bluray > DVD > Laserdisc > VHS > Betamax
