I think there's some disconnect over use of the word "digital" here. Seems some people it to mean streaming, whereas some are using it to mean non-analog, as in, non-tape or non-vinyl. CDs are digital. Spotify is streaming. Well, digital steaming, which is probably a source of some of the confusion.

For Impossible Princess, I assumed they didn't do additional content because that was already done in 2003.

This isn't exclusive to Madonna. I'm also a big Queen fan and they've made lots of questionable choices over the years. I think record companies intervene a lot because they're convinced they have great ideas about how to make more money.

I'd assumed those vocals were in the multitracks the remixer received. There's tons of stuff in multitracks that get edited out of the final product. Stuff like alternate vocal takes, studio chit chat, guitar solos, etc.

I really don't understand all this talk about her being late. The concert headliner doesn't take the stage at the time listed on the ticket.

Hard Candy was about the time when her fans (and I'm guilty of this too) stopped putting her on such a pedestal. That's they point at which she went through tons of major changes, if you ask me.

Yeah, I log in to this forum a LOT less than I used to because of how bitchy and rude people here are. That doesn't happen in other forums I participate in. It's quite the opposite, actually, as everyone has a sense of community due to common interest. But I understand that being completely nasty is how small people make themselves feel strong.
