That was an intelligent response and really contributed a lot to this discussion. Thank you so much for being here.

What has LN done???
Trust me when I say that nothing about dealing with M has been easy on LN. At all.
The tour schedule. The tour. The locations. That's all on her. She controls everything.

It can be very artistic, it’s simply how you approach them.
consider an act like Tori Amos. Total musical freedom to perform whatever she wants every night, change her setlist from 90% old to 90% new every night and anything in between. Then tell me she’s not producing great art.
Art is subjective. She could approach her old songs in ways that would render her higher and greater than ever.

I know it's sort of off topic and that I'm in the minority on this (surprise, surprise) but I would kill for a rock tour from her. Play the guitar or don't. Just stand there and sing.
It would solve this problem. I'd be there every night.

I feel like a rock tour would still have the energy of a Madonna concert with people still up and having fun. Put an acoustic set in the middle
That OYH demo from a few years ago is heaven

she can't sell out a 2000 seat arena. ;) Sure, Jan. Whatever you need to tell yourself.

mark perry got a warning (edit: banned now) and we are discussing with the team about the situation, and discussing bans.
Please take personal issues to the PMs because nobody cares about user drama. Use the ignore function, unless you want to get in trouble.
Im also not 24/7 customer service so please dont send me PMs about how you are being attacked because that is not how the forum works.
Thank you and this is the last I say today!

There are loads of people that have waited days in the cold to see her. Or travelled across continents. Or spent thousands on her. I don’t know what ticket you had but some people would probably question your mentality for paying the price you did for a ticket. Or for discussing her on forums day in day out. Its really a personal choice what you think she’s worth or how much time/money you want to dedicate.
I do find it strange that people defend her so blindly, it is hard to defend these late starts as she really has no excuse. I doubt they truly mean what they’re saying and are just blinded by their fandom. As I’ve said I’m not personally effected by it but I do empathize with casual fans especially because if I went to see some other show and it started that late I’d be very irritated and impatient. I am just glad this show isn’t general admission because that would be tedious not being able to leave your spot.

Your lack of maturity is absolutely outstanding. Enjoy the ignored list. I know you're still reading this though, you're too addicted to your contempt.
Laters!..

Yet you've said that other artist have done exactly that. What's the difference? Nobody has been posting empty seats on a daily basis, but you can almost guarantee there will be further cancellations this tour.

Well, the artist that essentially 'saved' my life through music and a very, very special concert is a rock artist and has never been a popstar, so 'shock horror', it's absolutely doesn't fit your sad conspiracy narrative.
It's so sad that you've made this very negative, jaded impression and assumption of somebody you don't know, because they're observationally expressive over a strange era in M's career.
You seem to be all-consumed by the desire to 'call out' fans that don't think M shits rainbows.
You talk about hate, but you seem to be absolutely drowning in the stuff. Hate and contempt for people who don't agree with your views and your high praise of an idol. It's been seen before, with popstars fans becoming overly possessive, to blind leaders of politicians...
You're consumed by contempt. You're full of hate.
Channel that hate into something else.

I love her myself, I just don’t love as much of this era as I have done in the few years leading up to it.
ill probably love something you don’t love in the future...
she’s helped my life too. Probably to a lesser extent than another artist in a totally different genre, but yeah.
im as interested in her career as I ever have been, but I’m balanced in my view. And I won’t change that.
love it or leave it mark!

No, I heard it with my own ears on the few videos I took... same on YouTube. It’s unfortunate but that’s how it is.
Glasgow sounded fine however, I loved Glasgow on the whole. Even power free Madonna at the end...
the sad thing was that those of us who went to the after party afterwards in some run down little club didn’t realise her and her team were apparently in the bar behind us having their end of leg party and it made the local press the day after!

You’re literally full of hate. And defense.
madonna wouldn’t give a shit about you, let it go x

Believe whatever you like. That's fine. You're the one getting irate, not I.
-

And neither do you.
You're a fan. She wouldn't personally give a shit about you, and you know it.

Well, if you're refusing to put us on ignore, that tells me three things:
a) It says more about me than it does about you.
b) You have issues with criticism of anything you like. You're obviously insecure.
c) You feed on negativity and the need for an argument. I've said so much positive even in the last hour, but you haven't absorbed any of it.

Wonderful.
If I actually was a troll, I'd probably say mission accomplished.
However, I'm not a troll, and don't get much of a kick out of irritating any of you unfortunately... but I do however enjoy discussing Madonna so... as you were

That's just it though, I've never lost interest in anything she's done, but I'm the type of person who thinks objectively about things... I don't endlessly praise and I don't ignore reality. I spent a lot of time praising the RHT when that started, praised S&S and Hard Candy... I even praised the MDNA album and we both know how unpopular that was.
But this era... it's interesting in that it's shown a complete downturn in M's commercial popularity. She's announced her biggest tour ever, with more consecutives half-sold shows than she's ever done... all on the back of an album that hasn't sold particularly well, hasn't made any impact with the general public, but has made a pretty decent impression on critics.
When something amazing happens this era, I'll sing it's praises. So far, nothing incredible has happened.
Frozen was pretty neat.

Some of you get really defensive since. Madonna is a product, a brand. We are discussing a brand.
if you don’t like discussion on the workings of said brand, don’t join a forum.
oh and believe me, me and digital freak aren’t the same person. Separate sides of the Atlantic I’m afraid.
nice guy, (guy?), intelligent, strong minded. Quite respect the chap for his persistence in speaking about what he believes, but we aren’t the same person.
so yeah, theory dead. I was a member of Tribe since 2007 but requested my account disabling in July of this year due to growing tired of sycophants, and other members growing tired of my opinions, lmao.

I was referring to moving tickets between shows in the same city.
She did exactly that in 2009 in Manchester.
Night One: Reasonably Well Sold.
Night Two: Sold apx 3000 tickets out of 14,000.
Cancelled Night Two and moved everyone that wasn't attending night one into seats on that first night.
The result? One reasonably well sold concert as opposed to one show with over half the seats filled and one show with only a quarter of the arena sold.
Don't be surprised if we see similar tactics in the next few weeks.

Well considering she's cancelled show after show in New York City, it seems pretty fair to discuss it here.
