Stop being annoying. nobody needs smart ass replies over and over. Make your argument and stop condescending people.
Yep, first person I have had to put on ignore. I hate doing that.

This is the actual tour. Fans will be begging for a Vegas Residency in the future. Then she’ll be able to put on a big spectacle. I honestly think she’s tired of doing big long grueling tours. She’s gonna be 61. She has 4 kids at home.
Well, IMO a handful of cities is not a tour. It's mini residencies in select cities.

Your guess, exactly.
I'm just going to put you on ignore at this point.

I understand what you're saying. In the US we have:
New York
Boston
Philadelphia
Chicago
Las Vegas
Miami
Las Angeles
I think that covers them.
That is only 7 cities and at this time the only tickets up for grabs are Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles.
What makes me nervous is I like to select my ticket as I always get as close as possible. The last 2 tours I was in the Golden Triangle (Guy - I was a FB friend of his at the time - gave me 2 tickets to the GT and I gave away the 2 that I had) and for RH I was right next to the stage.
I don't like the idea of agreeing to a setup of selecting areas of the theater you would be ok with sitting in and then get charged for the shittiest of the shittiest seats and be forced to keep them. I like to SEE where I'm going to be sitting PRIOR to purchase.

And you're basing this understanding on what precisely? Her 2012 MDNA show at Olympia in Paris (2000 capacity) had screens, dancers and full production. Have you been to the theatre lately? Modern theatre productions have brilliant, often ground-breaking technology these days.
I am basing this off of several articles I have read. I'm not saying there won't be ANY screens, but I don't think it will be like the Olympia because (if memory serves) they had a runway out in the middle of the theater and based on the seating chart provided for this "tour" that isn't the case, so I think it will be a more scaled back show.

It could also be with the newer breakthroughs in audio and visual technology that whatever she is cooking up is just better suited for the audience in a theater setting versus a big old corporate arena. A lot of these historic venues get major funding and have been fitted with cutting edge capabilities versus what may be available at a big money arena.
My understanding is that the theater dates will not have any screens or fancy technology and they will be more like the Lisbon living room sessions. My guess are that these dates are like TOAC. I may hold out for an actual tour.

She’s done EXACTLY that hundreds of times during the past decade. If you were living under a rock all that time too busy sniffing your flatulance to make it to one of her gigs - blame yourself.
I've been to Sticky & Sweet, MDNA, and Rebel Heart in the past 10 years.

She can’t please everyone. Imagine how disappointed I was after travelling four European countries to see the HORRIBLE Sticky & Sweet Tour (I won’t be counting the hours I’ve spent on travels, but it’s definitely more than 8. And I won’t be counting the money I’ve spent either, bit it’s literally a TON!) Did I feel like I have the right to bitch and moan about it? No, because she doesn’t owe me anything - and I would be delusional if I thought otherwise. Life is full of disappointments, get over it - like I did.
You're such a martyr.

What you believe (or want or dream of or whatever) is SO IRRELEVANT I don’t even know where to start. She doesn’t owe ANYONE anything - but herself. Try and understand that and your life will become so much easier! Peace! ;)
I know exactly where to start, you think your opinion is better than everyone else's. I didn't say she owed me shit, but I think it would be better for her fans if she at least tried to make it somewhat reasonable for them to see her show without having to take a week off from their jobs, take expensive flights just to get to the nearest show, etc. Also, the way this is set up all of the venues aren't even available to "pre-book" and this doesn't guarantee a ticket, so, who even knows. No need to respond if you're going to continue to sniff your own flatulence.

You think I’m rude?
I think people’s sense of entitlement is rude. I don’t think anyone here is in a position to make any demands regarding Madonna’s way of doing her job.
I believe her *job* is to be Madonna. I'm not saying that I mind going a bit out of my way to see her show, and I don't mind paying for the ticket, but this complete change of format as well as extremely limited venues makes it even more difficult for her fans, you know, the people who MADE her, to see her and enjoy the experience. If she were at least coming to Atlanta I would be ok, but the closest venue to me is 8 hours away. So, I have a reason to be disappointed.
And yes, I think you're rude.

Right so because she's chosen to only tour in very select places, you're having a hissy fit? She doesn't have to tour if she doesn't want to, she's 60 years old with 2 very young children and touring obviously puts a strain on her and her relationships with them.
I'll be disappointed if I don't get to see her live, but I'm certainly not going to bitch and moan about it, no one should ever demand such things of a another person.Oh please! I'm not throwing a "hissy fit" I'm disappointed, BIG DIFFERENCE. There is also a difference between select cities and making it difficult for half of the US population to see her. I'm curious to know where you are located... The website is also somewhat confusing. I did put in tickets and chose the areas I would be interested in, but it shows 2 items in the cart and I selected 3 potential tickets... is it because I chose 2 nights?

I think you should try and get this piece of information to Madonna’s management IMMEDIATELY. Clearly they have overlooked this and will get it right as soon as they realise what a terrible mistake they’ve done!!!
Well, there is no need to be a jerk. I'm simply stating that this has made it difficult for me to keep my word. Your rude remarks are unnecessary.

The shows will still sell out no matter what. I think some fans complaining will not bother her whatsoever. She must have expected the backlash.
Besides, comments on her Facebook posts are always largely negative and often offensive.I'm sure they will. It's very convenient for people who live in or near these larger metropolitan areas, but as I've previously stated, I live in Knoxville, TN, so there are additional logistical factors that come into play.
I'm disappointed as are others and we are allowed to feel that way.

People would complain if she cured bloody cancer!
It's her life and she can tour however she likes. I find fans complaining about it completely ridiculous when she's toured a lot in the last decade.
Wrong. It's crap when she doesn't come anywhere near you. I mean, the ticket prices plus the airfare, etc. adds up very quickly, especially if you want to take additional people. I'm not poor, but I'm certainly not rich, either.
I promised someone I would take them to her next tour (this person has limited means) and now I'm not sure if even I want to go myself. This person is in addition to my partner, which I would of course be paying for as well.

Were all acting like we won’t pay etc but bishes we won’t even be able to get tickets :(
I'm not.
Since she isn't coming anywhere near me there is no reason for me to worry about it.

This is incredibly stupid and sickening.
I am not going. As someone who lives in Knoxville, TN I will either have to fly or drive many hours to see her. I understand that some people have to fly to another continent to see her, and I am not taking away from that, but this is a big deal to me.
Sorry, hard pass. I am very upset about this.

Why couldn't it go on sale? The one I recall going to myself was for Cher's Dressed To Kill which was announced and then on sale that day. Everything seems ready to go, they just need to make it all live.
And really, Madonna and Ticketmaster don't care about fans having to travel, selling tickets even if it's all the way right before Madonna hits the stage is their end goal. It probably works better for them to prey onto your impulses and then you figure out travelling after which isn't their issue lol.
I’m not saying they won’t, but it’s nuts. These prices cause hesitation, not impulses. Also, there is usually an announcement several days or so before the sale so people are made aware of the shows and dates, etc. Madonna may not be terribly concerned about the logistics involved for the fans, but they should be. I for one am not happy about putting out $2,000 for a show 500 miles away only to find out a few days later that I can’t go and then I have the hassle of selling the tickets.

How can it go on sale the same day it’s announced?
I don’t think they will. That’s stupid considering her ticket prices, the fact that people have to see if they can go, travel logistics, etc.
-
I don’t think it will be all small venues. It will limit where she can go. I’m willing to travel a few hours to see her, but I’m not flying across the country.

Rebel Heart > Hard Candy >> MDNA
I just have to say that your avatar is very unfortunate. They had M done up SUPER hard because it was a B&W shoot.
Anyway...
I definitely say RH, MDNA, and then HC.
I don't feel like her heart was in HC at all - too much personal drama at the time.
MDNA - too many projects going on, basically phoned in the album - obviously cared more about W/E but MDNA has aged surprisingly well and I find myself going back to it frequently.
RH - would have been a masterpiece had she left in some demos, taken out the cheese and made the album more cohesive.
If I had to pick my favorite songs, in no particular order and leaving out demos from the last 3 albums.... Note that HC only got 6, MDNA 11, and RH 13
1. Heartbeat
2. Give It 2 Me
3. She's Not Me

It's definitely more of an album than a soundtrack because very little of the music is in the film. Also, this is the only album that Vogue was released on. Nevertheless, Madonna's management doesn't consider it an album and it's "music from and inspired by." I think both sides of the argument has an excellent point.

I've never understood religious diet restrictions outside of meat restrictions. If you can have meat and cheese why can't you have them at the same time? Not to offend anyone, I just don't know why and don't get why.
-
I don't really care for remixes, most of the time they are just looped vocals over a bunch of noise. There are a few I like, but I'm very selective.

Madame X Tour May 6 Announcement
in The World Tours
Posted
This one alludes to the currently announced shows being "the smaller Madame X shows."
https://pagesix.com/2019/05/05/madonna-to-announce-new-madame-x-tour-on-monday/
I can't find the other one now... hmmm... but the first one could be taken that there will be other, larger shows, or it could just flat out mean that this tour is smaller in regards to her previous tours.
