  1. WHEN'S THE DAMNED ALBUM COMING OUT!? HAHAHAHAHA
  2. @Future Lover I see what you're talking about. I think it's a combination of cosmetic procedures (although I think she's been very careful not to mess with her eyes too much - they define her) and simple nature. Not many people have perfect symmetry and over the years things sag, etc. It's probably just nature and the result of her face being tightened here and there over the past 15 years. I vaguely recall something about her getting hurt while on tour, but I can't remember the details at all.
  3. I don't think it's as Photoshopped as the others. I think that's simply because she has that roller all over her face and they can't work on her face as much to digitally enhance it. There are some odd looking shots, I'll agree, but I think she looks "odd" because she just had botox done. She looks great, but she looks like a 60 year old with work done. You can see her age in her eyes and her mouth. What exactly do you mean by her left eye looks different? Different compared to what?
  4. I think it's because she feels that the blonde hair is her signature look. Since she's considered a legacy act she's most likely just trying to stay consistent with her look. However, I completely agree with you. Maybe she's also going with that old adage, "as you age, go lighter..."
  5. "Put your hands on my skiiiiiiiin....." Ok, enough of this, drop the album. HAHA!
  6. No, not permanently. I think she'll come and stay for a while for the album promotion, spend some time in London, and then go back to Portugal.
  7. No one expects her to not have some retouching, but this is over the top to the point of a slap in the face to her customer base. Hell, they even made her eyes a different color in a few shots. I think M would get more publicity for her skin care line if she were a little more honest in her ads as far as her natural look. M looks great for 60. I say embrace that and stop trying to look 21 in your ads.
  8. Instrumental remixes without Madonna’s vocals? No, thanks.
  9. Don't be a Negatron, be an Optimist Prime! Seriously, I don't think it's going to be that bad. We don't know a thing yet. This could be (and probably will be) a very good album. I don't think M has ever put out a bad album, IMO the closest she ever came was HARD CANDY just because it was so NOT Madonna.
  10. I think she looks like she just took her face away from a pan of boiling water. That would explain why her glasses were slid down to the end of her nose. I'm about sick of the Rose Mist, but she is making me want to buy some just so I can make these videos... so I guess it's working. I think her hair has gotten longer, but these may be extensions as the ends look sorta frayed.
  11. Yes. I'm not sure how it's done but I think they go frame by frame. Madonna looks great, but she doesn't look this young.
  12. To some degree I think so, but she doesn't really have to work at all. She works now by choice.
  13. While you are of course correct (on all counts) that wasn't my point. My point is that M is doing this to make money, big money, and I'm not sure that she'll be or has been as successful in this as she wants. Time will tell of course, but she's spending a lot of time on this line of products that frankly most people cannot afford. It's obvious that she's doing this so that she can do an Elizabeth Taylor and make money off of personal products long after she retires, but I think it would make sense to have a line of MDNA Skin that everyone can afford, not just her friends.
  14. These MDNA Skin ads are cute and all, but she needs to get real. She's not going to be like Kylie Jenner and make a billion dollars from selling lip-gloss.
  15. I'm not stating anything as fact, I'm only stating what I have heard, what I have been told, and what I have personally seen. By the way, Fabien Baron directed the shoot, I don't know that he selected the album cover, I think Madonna would have done that personally and someone else entirely would have taken it for print sometime after. The first pressings along with all of the other advertisements may very well be incorrect or it could be the exact opposite. However, this we do know: finding a copy of BS with the photo being right-side up is harder than finding one that is upside-down. They are far from rare, but a quick eBay search will give you about 10 (upside-down) to 1 (right-side up) - there are definitely fewer. Also, the right-side up version just looks off. The photo was taken with M lying on her back, with the camera photographing her upside-down which, TO ME, makes the right-side up version look very strange. Again, some links that I didn't have any hand in writing: https://www.1stopmadonnashop.com/bedtime-stories---upside-down-usa-cd-album-5636-p.asp http://madonnaunderground.com/madonna-live/album-promo/bedtime-stories-promo-tour/ At the end of the day, the popular consensus is that the right-side up (first pressing) is incorrect. I suppose we would only know the facts if someone asked Madonna. Until that happens I suppose we will just have to have different opinions because using released artwork which may or may not be correct is not presenting facts because there is already the question of whether or not it was wrong to begin with. Having said that, how do you explain the change in the printing of the album cover?
  16. You haven't provided facts, either. Photographs used in the initial press releases, etc. does not disprove that Warner made a mistake. If anything the fact that later pressings used the "upside down" version supports this. Also, considering that the font colors were messed up from the beginning further supports misprinting of the release. In any event, I don't think we will ever know for sure, but something definitely happened.
  17. https://www.discogs.com/Madonna-Bedtime-Stories/release/704624 Please check the notes section of that link. A quick Google search turns up a lot of discussion about this, for instance from Pop Justice: "As with most things in her career, Warner fucked it up. When she submitted the artwork for the album, the image was purposefully upside down, that is what she wanted, it's an image of her hanging off the bed. Warner assumed it was a mistake and flipped the image the right way up, M had a bitchfit and got it changed. So technically, any copy with the image the right way up is a misprint." This isn't a p*ssing contest, but I don't think you're correct.
  18. I would have to locate the source, but I know for a fact that I read that many years ago. Why do you think they switched it if it was correct to begin with? Also, that photo was taken like that, so it wouldn’t make sense to flip it. Madonna was being “artsy.”
  19. No, it was meant to be upside down. That's the way the photo was taken. The company that did the first pressings made a mistake and thought it was supposed to be right side up. They were corrected and the pressing which followed had the photo upside down.
  20. I really love this album except for American Life. I think if that song hadn't been on here and the album had been called NOBODY KNOWS ME it would have been a success.
