I work in Marketing and realize most of you don't but......
It's no surprise that no final deal has been made regarding streaming. Unless they're producing it (they aren't), no streaming service is going to pay to license a product for which they haven't seen the final version of. She's still editing it. That doesn't mean that negotiations haven't started contingent on them approving the final product.
Chill out everyone. We just went through a pandemic which slowed productivity. But it's clear based on her continuous posts that we will see the Madame X concert someway, somehow...

When HBO shot and aired Blond Ambition and The Girlie Show and even Drowned World Tour, they knew what they were doing. 
When left to her own devices, Madonna is not solid or honest anymore in what she releases. I truly believe a deal was signed for MX to be aired on Netflix and upon receiving Madonna's version of the final cut they pushed it back across the table and said, "you need to do better." And since no one is buying DVDs anymore, and the tour is likely to have cost her a bit in penalties and such, she needs the revenue from this portion of the show to cover off the losses, so she's adhering to their request - but not by choice.
And this is what needs to happen going forward if we want superior quality releases from Madonna vs the sub-par quality we've become used to over the last decade. 
Guy-O is probably tired of the fight and is why he's not present. And no one else has the balls to stand up to her. Netflix has no reason to air a poorly shot concert for an aging pop-Queen with a bad reputation and attitude.
And in all honesty, if they aired her original version (the poorly shot, no close-up version) it could do more damage than good to her reputation as a solid performer. This will get more exposure than most of the concert releases she's done since Drowned World Tour or Confessions, I'd have to look back at how well those did when they aired if there is data available. 
This could be the attitude adjustment we've been waiting for -- and in a good way.

I assume they're reshooting specific details to replace the shots with Ai Shimatsu, M's stand-in. No need for a big and elaborate set with all performers in that case – as Ricardo's Instagram status (hopefully?) suggests. For "Frozen," there's probably a lot of movement around her behind the backdrop while "Future" needs a few more shots due to her sitting by the piano. Then there's that brief excerpt from "I Don't Search I Find" we've seen which has Ai in it for a split second. If all that is the case, I'm intrigued to see if those little edits will be blatantly obvious or blend in perfectly in terms of continuity.

But she became famous because she was a singer. There's no way her dancing would have brought her to the top. She was a singer first and foremost Look how little she toured until 2000. VT was only in the US, WTG-T and BAT were rather short tours compared to modern standards and GS hardly went to her core markets. She did very few TV-performances up to the mid 90s. People either saw her music videos (where she didn't dance that much) or heard her music on the radio. It was the music that appealed to the people first and foremost because that's what they had access to.
She also had a major comeback in the 90s because of her music. There was a ten-year period where she herself was all about her music and her song-writing. Where she would sit down with a guitar during a promo performance and sing. And then AL tanked and her marriage dissolved. And since then it seems she needs to perform like a maniac and prove people she's still capable of carrying a two hour circe du soleil on her shoulders.
If you have become a fan in the mid 90s like me that just seems alienating. ROL, Music, DWT, AL – it all seemed like a natural progression from BAT and Erotica. Since COADF, she just hasn't evolved. Neither musically nor artistically.
Madame X was the first time where it seemed she actually tried to do something new. I thought the trailers were very promising with this mysterious Madame X and her many incarnations. I expected a concept album with each song being linked to one of the many sides of Madame X. What we got was Madonna with an eye patch constantly repeating her Martha Graham-story (that was more a fairy tale than a story) in her few interviews and an album with a very mixed bag of songs and excessive use of autotune. I still have no idea who Madame X is and the songs on the album certainly didn't reveal anything about her.

You are making statements based on your emotions or how you read it, how you feel about it. All of these ideas and feelings are subjected to your experiences and your environment.
None of them make anything factual or based on anything you know for sure or you have proof of.
The issue at the time of voicing these emotional judgments is that you start to believe that because you think that, it's real somehow.
Making it simple : you are entitled to your opinion but it doesn't means that you always need to share it.
Also you are risking to being exposed to the same treatment and have people voicing what's their opinion about you.
 

Hi, I decided that after reading a lot about how most of us are not quite happy with the official release of the RHT, we should collaborate to share all the screen recordings we have in our collections, so everyone of us can have the oppourtunity to enjoy the concert the way it was supposed to be watched.
I was thinking about editing the show with an audio recording that's not messed up by over-production (the soundoard from Tokyo, for instance) and a proper screen recording with continuous footage of her wearing the same costume - if that can be pulled off.
That's why I need your help, I think we could try to regain access to those lost files.
