  1. Candy Shop is a masterpiece she's been quietly developing since The First Album, it only makes sense for it to appear.
  2. How creepy lyrics like these left the writing room is beyond me. She's talking about being a baby... "Open the door, unlock me We've got tonight, so rock me now"
  3. Can't wait for Back That Up to the Beat (Acoustic)

  4. Most likely true, but given they did an interview together recently, it's not completely impossible.
  5. 1. Back That Up to the Beat 2. Hung Up on Tokischa 3. Frozen on Fire feat. Sickick 4. Material Gworl 5. Frozen Sickick Remix feat. Fireboy DML 6. Back That Up to the Beat (sped up Version) 7. Frozen Sickick Remix feat. 070 Shake 8. Break My Soul [feat. Madonna] (The Queens Remix) 9. Levitating (The Blessed Madonna Remix) [feat. Madonna & Missy Elliott] 10. Candy Shop (2023 Tracy Young Remix)
  6. Madonna's new single!!!

  7. Of course they thought of her at some point. I reiterate - they just want clicks. Lists are an easy way to do that - excluding famous artists from said lists so people get upset gets them even more clicks.
  8. Yeah but in the end... it's just a list from a not-so-respected-anymore magazine. Everyone's talking about who's missing as if this author has any authority over anything. It is, and it's getting what they want: clicks, mentions and discussions.
  9. I hope it's called Back That Up to the Beat Tour and that it gets sampled in every section of the show (like 4 Minutes in S&S)
  10. To each their own, I guess. They were all terrible imo lol, but I don't like the poor selfie cutout, weird starburst of color or font editing for BIM. I prefer Ghosttown's over that.
  11. I don't think he says she chose the font, but just made tweaks to what he presented. ;-) But not the end of the world - I just wish he could present better content to her if she's going to keep using him. I'm still traumatized by the Bitch I'm Madonna cover lol. Also that last statement is FWIW: I do like the photo choice cuz she's backing it up
  12. Usually the answer to "am I the only person who thinks [x]" is: no. But how many times does it need to be said at this point? If you think the "young" generation is going to actively listen to her all of her songs from her past out of sheer interest without any prompt to do so like Frozen Remix or BTUTTB, then I don't know what to tell you. She isn't going to drill an Oh Father sped up remix on TikTok and hope people start making it go viral. She's reacting to what people are already enjoying and having fun with it, while making a few bucks along the way lol. It's not that deep and really, who cares? How long have people been saying she's ruining her legacy, etc. So over that, she doesn't need saving after 40 years in this career, even if/when she makes misguided choices. And ew, Dance 2night?? EDIT: Sharing a slight edit of the cover since I'm not into the design - it's nothing special, but I kinda like the pic itself without too many distractions
  13. Beyond me how using that "sticker" (stealing the Finally Enough Love single-disc concept?) with a downloaded/unofficial Rebel Heart font off the internet is what's being showcased as official LOL And those WordArt gradients omg
  14. That looks like an Aldo cover LOL I'm glad she released the original demo, since it has the full title and is how it first went viral. I think she'll still release the alternate versions next year, given her IG stories.
  15. Imagine extending the name from "Back That Up" to "Back That Up to the Beat" and then removing the word "beat" in the song itself... How annoyed would people be if this becomes her last song to chart on the Billboard lol
  16. OK I love her but WHY IS SHE CUTTING OUT THE WORD "BEAT"?! Anyway, I don't mind having another version
  17. Why is it desperate? I think she's adapting to a modern music industry and while she may make misguided choices along the way, I don't think it's desperate. She's always wanted her music to reach as many people as possible, otherwise she wouldn't do half of what she has done.
  18. Yeah, went pretty smoothly from what I remember.
  19. Just came back from the exhibit. Got 2 SEX/Saint Laurent tote bags and saw the book (definitely did not buy it). A nice event! :-) So cool seeing some of these photos in such large size.
