  1. I´m not against it but I don´t enjoy it visually or musically and it does not inspire me or represent me and will not see again, each of them has the right of express themselves as they want and me to enjoy it or not, seeing it or not. I must say I enjoy some of his old beautiful songs that he sung so great, but this time is not for me, sorry. But if people enjoy it or he enjoys it, so be it and good for them.
  2. It´s interesting that this is getting more atention at its 20 anniversary that her magnus opus ROL at its 25 anniversary!! I love it. Both amazing records, one more ethereal and superlauded, the other more grounded and super atacked, both two sides of a great artist at a peak moment. I also must add that for me American life the single and video clip are both some of the most relevant work of Madonn´s whole carreer, and a key piece to understand her evolution. The fact that the song flopped big time after such a commercially succesful era and that the video was retired makes it all much more legendary and iconic. I hope that she does the song on her Celebration tour, I always loved it personally and meant a lot of me. And I think it´s super relevant today, maybe even more than in 2003.
  3. OMG she is so gorgeous, we love it and she is going to kill us!!
  4. Let´s put this: I adore American life and hate Madame X lol. But I think I hate Madame X cause I hate the evolution of Madonna post covid with that last era going on endlessly. The other eras had its lows and ups but she was as great as always for the most part with great tours and Madonna looking wonderfull.
  5. The thing is TIC felt so cohesive and well done with cronologically put tracklist as you can see her evolution but at the same time it has a sense of unity so armonic and it was a time when people really did bought music. And what´s more, even if you prefer some original versions, the IC versions really add and cohabit wonderfully, so you feel you have gained. I adore both version of LAP and Express Yourself and put each of them depending on the mood I am. About GHV2, it´s not a bad record but for me: It didn´t feel very cohesive and sometimes even messy (as celebration), some edits are for the worse, some tracks are not hits, and it misses some really important hits she disliked (american pie?), I don´t like the liner notes and the pictures are cool but very small. A new song is soo missed, and that was a time when piracy was hurting a lot. And finally, when know Madonna was in bad terms with Warner and not in very shiny mood. So that´s why I think we know that compilation could have been much better, cause really that period it cover 1992-2001, was musically amazing.
  6. I´ve thinking about that recent post that somebody wrote about retiring her american life video as the final note of her artistic life. And, as hard as it might sounds, it might be true in a way. Cause, think about it, the fearless artist who tried different things working with outsiders of the industry and who succeeded and changed the rules of the game wasn´t there anymore. Ok, COADF it is really a great pop disco record of its moments, but she did that in order to recover her throne. Hard candy was done to restore her succes on the US and the tour to recover her money. MDNA was done for contractual reasons cause there she was trying to be a movie director. Rebel Heart was done with all the current hot producers of the moment in a desperate movement. And lastly, Madonna x was Madonna knowing she wouldn´t sell and doing strange things that sounds artistic in the paper but at the end it was not great music or very memorable. First singles with abba, Nick Minaj, Justin Timberlake or Maluma. And yes, I enjoy lots of tracks from those post 2003 albums and many tours were amazing. But I can recognise that peak Madonna that I knew in 1999 and that was in the very top creating daring pop music that changed the system, was very much done after American life flopped big time.
  7. She looks amazing and this picture is very beautiful. I love it.
  8. I didn´t know Angela was Stuart, wow, that´s very juicy stuff. LOL Are they still together? I feel Madonna was happier on those great years, she was very well cared, with a family and on the top. I might be wrong, but till COAD I think those years were her best personally.
  9. It´s like she feels vulnerable singing those songs for the people, in the concerts she loves so much that fighting, survivor, super woman stronger than the machos, who is very much in shape, and almost like a super hero, or protesting on the system, but she usually don´t let´s us see a more vulnerable side of her. One of my favourite live performances by her of all time was gone on the drowned world tour, gosh, she seemed like she felt so mucho those lyrics. I prefer much more than one that the whole geisha circus you know.
  10. I´ll remember is very good, I like it better than Rain. The general public loves Madonna when she softens her image and it´s sweet and does beautiful things. Ergo all her hits with True blue, ROL or Music. It´s when she tries to change the world and be like Che guevara on the cover or been so hypersexual or wears a strange image people don´t like her so much,
  11. This latest instagram tour spoiler is lovely, she´s amazing isn´t she?
  12. I really liked that author´s acoustic version, it´s fantastic, I love it!!
  13. What a marvellous version, I really liked it, thank you! Madonna never gets the credit for composing such amazing pop music.
  14. Actually in that 2019 Billboard video she explains why she never performs those songs at her concerts LOL.
  15. I don´t think she thinks doing ballads live is a great idea, and I disagree: You´ll see or gone, crazy for you, Live to tell, OH Father, Rain, La vie en rose, drowned world...all peak moments of her live concerts.
  16. Those two latest pictures are so amazing, I love it. She´s amazing!
  17. Wonderful news! Stuart is a wonderful musician and producer. And Madonna looks amazing. I love this.
  18. It´s interesting if you listen ROL, American life and MDNA, it seems that these albums are made by 3 different people LOL DO the rest of the artists change so much from an era to another?
  19. I agree that Die another day was a hit, yes, but I agree at the moment it felt that the reception was colder than expected, after the success of Amerian pie, Beautiful stranger, ROL, Music and Drowned world. But it also must be said that although the video and the song itself are amazing, it´s not an easy song for the mainstream.
  20. Yeah, isn´t it amazing? I think she is beautiful. I love it too.
  21. She probably will not sing any song that´s been absent from her post 2000 tours. She will do celebration, lap, vogue, la isla bonita again and maybe american life, for sure holiday but no cherish, take a bow, used to be my playground or The power of goodbye.
