True Blue had several hit singles, LAP not so much? I mean: I was too little at that time to remember, but after Cheris, were the other singles huge? I think she was probably into the Dick tracy movie, blonde ambition tour, vogue thing and so the album popularity probably decreased. But maybe as the album is legendary and called one of her best ever, her sales have been regular since it came. I´m guessing.

I like that song, it reminds me of the erotica music, songs like Words or Thief of hearts...

That part of the book was quite disturbing, if you ask me, sorry, I prefer much more the Madonna of Frozen or Don´t tell me or Hung up, or True Blue than the one who writes about subjects like that, fictional or not.

The power of goodbye is one of the best Madonna songs/clips/vocals EVER!! And she looked amazing on the clip.

I agree the whole era felt contradicted, and that they did not know how to see an otherwise very nice album. The message was strange. With ROL, Music or Confessions I think the concept was better delivered and so those albums got great reception. It´s a shame cause I love several American Life songs with all my heart.

I already said it but her comments about the sexism and ageism were so so wrong, even though I love that she defended Madonna on the other hand. But well, she has to be in the news.

Oh each passing day she resembles more and more to the Madonna pre 2020! I love it.

I love the era and the album but I agree that, in retrospective, it was a sign of her life at that time, but after all that has happened later, starting with COADF style and more with Hard Candy, it does not feel honest when you hear it and see the interviews. Sadly the same can be said of the spirituality of ROL, never again seen after 2008. And I agree that the promo was disjointed and strange after the second single. The albums better promoted to my eyes, since I follow her were Ray of light and Confessions on a dance floor. Music was not bad but could have been better if she hadn´t been pregnant, if it had been a fourth single with clip and if What if feels like for a girld would have been the same version the single and the videoclip. American life disaster of second part of the promotion, Hard candy disaster after the first single, MDNA disaster after the Superbowl, Rebel Heart disaster with the leak demos, and Ghostown and Bitch I´m madonna coming at the same time and all for almost nothing, and Madame x with 5 singles being out at the same time? At least, with these two last albums, she worked hard on the tv interviews.

I always loved Swim and I think it could have been very succesful too. Also Time Stood still. I know that Nothing fails was a single, but it had no video and it suffered the backlash of the whole era, but in another situation, I think that song could have been huge.

I love American Life, she souded amazing and Nothing fails or Love Profussion or Easy Ride or Intervention are soooo emotional and so goood and so different to other records of her. One of her best albums ever.

i love Frozen, always have. It is a masterpiece, everything about it was perfection, it was all that good that if you think about the song, it was quite simple in its conception but everthing was on target, and her vocals wow.

I love American Life with all my heart, and this is nice, however and I would prefer a expanded reedition of the original cd with those beautiful demos that she did but never oficially released, the videoclips in hq, inside info, remembering the legacy of this cd, and a dvd of the reinvention tour. That would be for me really a nice way of paying tribute to that amazing era of hers, which I enjoyed at its moment with all my soul and my body. I always loved much more American Life than COADF, which I liked too.

I don´t know who Lizzo is. I don´t think we will agree on this ever. I respect your ideas but I don´t agree and I think that you are totally wrong. I suspect you think the same about mine´s LOL. That´s life. I already expressed what I think about this. Have a nice sunday, enjoy the queen for a while if you can, and let´s see if her next public appearance is more succesful and everybody is happy. I´m sending you lot´s of love, not kidding, it´s real. I must say in latest pictures rehearsing I saw her more natural and like the Madonna of always. Let´s pray for a super succesful and masive tour celebrating her amazing legacy.

I think if you change your face a lot, expect lots of comments, specially if you are Madonna. She has had lots of money, fame and success on the other hand, but not everything is going to be nice all the time. What do you want people to say: that she looks 23? And the same is for men, let´s remember how everybody spoke about Michael Jackon surgeries and she was not a woman and she was not old. So don´t tell me fairy tales. The first ageist person here is Madonna for me, who always goes out with young people, tries to hide her age and all that stuff. You are living in a bubble if you can´t see that.

Ok, so in a ideal world people is super respectful toward everything and social networks do not exist LOL. I agree we all must be super respectful toward everything and anyone including Madonna and her cosmetic procedures. But what I´m expressing is that that last controvesial it was not cause she was a woman or 64, but because she did so many facial changes, people were amazed that she was unrecognizable to them, after having her face of always in the minds for more than 30 years. My sister, who is not a Madonna hater, could not recognised her at all and was shocked, and why shouldn´t she speak her mind about? Is she an ageist or hate other women because of that? On the other hand, Madonna is not a poor victim, never has been, at least on what concerns to her work and her public image. She has been a super powerful woman who has done everything she has wanted and that has pushed many many buttoms, some of them better than others, to my taste. She is the one who wears grillzs to get her fans mad, for God sake. I don´t buy this poor victim thing, as much as I love her.

Oh, so people can´t have an opinion about things unless it is positive or unless you agree or unless you like it? It is interesting.

I´m not saying it´s ok, I´m saying it is what actually happens, as we are seeing one more time. She has the right to do whatever she likes and the audiences also have the right to answer as they want. Such is life, isn´t it?
