It's easier to say BLU-RAY (two syllables) than to say DVD (3 syllables). I don't blame people for using the wrong term, I blame their lack of education on the importance of using the correct words to communicate their thoughts. I encourage everyone to refer to WAV and FLAC files as MP3 going forward as it has a nice ring to it. Let's all just become stupid and use wrong terms going forward.

It’s incorrect to say DVD as that’s the name of a specific format. Its like calling a VHS tape a Beta or calling a Laserdisc a VCD. If people are going to talk about releases and formats they should use the proper terms. That’s all I’m saying.

I feel like Gambler must have been transferred over to Warner in order for it to be on the US and European RSD release of La Isla Bonita Super Mix.

I don't think "Gambler" or "Everybody" would have been even considered for "The Immaculate Collection". "Everybody" was not a hit and while "Gambler" did do fairly well in the territories that it was released in, it's not really a song that anyone knows. I think the only songs that could have / should have been considered for the album that weren't used were "Angel", "Dress You Up", "True Blue", "Who's That Girl" and "Causing A Commotion"

And on top of that those 2001 remasters just don't sound great. The original CDs released for those albums sound way better than the remasters. It's been 20 years though, so hopefully they will remaster them properly this time.

How is it a fool's show any more now than it was 20, 25 or 30 years ago? I don't think the word you're looking for is embarrassing, not goofy. Her social media needs to be taken away from her. It's hella cringe worthy. From the weird filters that make her face shapes that can't occur naturally, to the posts of her rolling weed like she's a 15 year old who just discovered weed - it's all just a mess. Madonna has been a jerk her whole career. She isn't a nice person. This is no secret. Anyone that's interacted with her can you tell you this.

Probably not, but are the general public interested in her anymore ? I doubt they were going to Madame X. This would be a nice treat for the fans

I thought it was only part of Vogue too until I went through and tried to make a full versions of all of the songs using Lisbon to fill in the blanks and realized that at least half of Nobody Knows Me is Lisbon as well as huge chunks of American Life, Music and Holiday.

I feel like Tears of a clown was half way there, but to me it was more of a Music / American life project with some extra tracks added in for good measure. I mean a full proper setlist that spans her career.

The problem is that there is no quality control with Madonna releases. Most of the mixes on this True Blue collection are sourced from those terrible sounding yellow CD singles. Of course the fans are going to be upset. We were just as upset when we bought those CDs in 1995 and they sounded like crap. The fact that people on this forum are able to create a better sounding collection with less resources shows how much Warner / Rhino give a shit and it's a slap in the face to the fans.

I feel there must be an issue with Paris RIT Footage or it just wasn't good enough since a HUGE chunk of IGTTYAS is actually the Lisbon show.
