  1. I took that as the everyday grind. Again, this is just my opinion. This song was literally played at every wedding I went to in the 90s. ANYHOW, I love the song. I just don't think it's a gay anthem. lol
  2. I would classify it as a dance anthem (for me) and not a gay anthem. It's more about dancing than "gayness" as she's talking to everyone and not specifically her gay fans.
  3. Any Like a Prayer, I'm Breathless and Bedtime Stories demos that we haven't heard.
  4. I agree..I'll vote cause it's Madonna but "Vogue" doesn't scream gay anthem...
  5. The only time I can remember hearing the album version on the radio was in 1990 when 680 CFTR (Remember that station? lol) played the I'm Breathless album the weekend before it came out.
  6. Yeah the last version I heard on the radio was the single version as well.
  7. Same. I remember seeing the video on TV before hearing it on the radio, and then when I heard it on the radio I was a little confused by the intro (but loved it anyway).
  8. I hope to god we get a physical release as well. Blu-Ray will always be better quality than any streaming. I hope she doesn't pull a Kylie and only put it on DVD
  9. I get confused with this too. lol. I always thought it was the other way around tho.
  10. This isn't completely true... MuchMusic in Canada aired it with the scratch noise when it first came out....
  11. Ever since they started uploading the promo / vinyl only mixes I've become quite optimistic. :p
  12. The only problem is they released "Music", "Secret" and "Erotica" incomplete, so I am betting that they will re-release those so that they include all the mixes.
  13. I labelled it "STR Edit" because the actual radio edit from the single is 3:58: https://www.discogs.com/Madonna-Crazy-For-You/release/707137
  14. I would love to see a do-over of that interview. It was terrible. I felt really bad for Ruby
  15. From me, "Madame X" is hands down her worst. I still can't listen to it from start to finish. There are a couple songs on it that I don't dislike, but they seem to be lacking for me and aren't anywhere near the standard that I expect from Madonna.
  16. It's more than an edit. There are a few parts where there you can hear things in the single mix, that you either couldn't hear or barely hear in the album version. It's definitely more pumped up than the album version.
  17. Yes Yes! Truth or Dare is EVERYTHING! I remember renting it the day it came out and not returning it because it wasn't available for sale right away. My parents completely lost their shit when they had a non-returned Blockbuster fee for $99. I lied and told my parents I returned it. They argued and had the fee removed. I don't regret it one bit. That movie will alwas be everything for me. In IGTTYAS when she's talking about the light and mentioning her Rabbi it gets to be a bit (a lot) much. It's funny how just a year before the tour she did that showcase in France she said (and I quote) : "Religion is an idea that someone pushes on you" "Religion is judgement" "Religion is suffering' "Religion is conforming" "Religion is establishment" But clearly she changed her mind.
  18. 100000000000000000000% The documentary was okay watching the first time on MTV, but that's it. I tried to watch it with my boyfriend recently as he loves Truth Or Dare and saw that there's another tour doc that she did. I tried to convince him he wouldn't like it.. but we ended up watching it together.. and it was worse than I remembered. She should have just given us the re-invention tour with fun behind the scenes stuff (Rehearsals, etc...). I was never interested in her homophobic husband, her kids, her messed up religion - and for someone that would prefer to keep the focus on her art, she did a terrible job of making her art front and centre in this movie.
  19. There's a new announcement on the main page saying that there's a new way / site to order coming soon so maybe they'll utilize that instead since this site is so easy to get a login for.
  20. Sadly they haven't loaded anything for Madonna since Bedtime Story.
  21. For my birthday my friends got me a zoom chat with Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway from Voyager, Red from OITNB). It was supposed to be a 4 minute call , but she extended it to 8 minutes as we were having a pretty good conversation. Afterwards I thought about whether or not I would want to to a chat with Madonna and I have come to the conclusion that I would not. My reasons: I don't feel like she would answer any of my music related questions properly I don't think she would be pleasant. I've seen her interactions with fans and friends that have met her all had the same feedback: She isn't nice to her fans. I think she'd probably try to be funny and it would be uncomfortable since she isn't. She would probably be crazy late for the zoom call as she doesn't respect other peoples time But if Cher or Kylie were to do this - I am SO there.
  22. I believe that even Shep confirmed that this remix is fake and was never intended for use on the collection.
  23. I'm not huge into streaming. If I like something I buy it, rip it and listen to to it that way (if it's a CD). If it's vinyl I listen to it. Most of the time what I want to listen to is not available on any streaming service.
  24. @Roland Barthes for the win! Thanks for digging that up. I knew it was originally scheduled for 1986
