M's intended album cover was the painterly black wig close-up, with the Frida eyebrow and sewn lips graphics. I think they kind of derail the artful energy and intention of the album. I wish she would've committed to that 100% rather than feel the need to add 'bops' to 'lighten' the energy. I blame it on American Life album PTSD.
