  1. I agree that Erotica deserved better. Far from disliking GS, I love it, but I also find the stage ugly and I think there's a lot of wasted time in this concert that could be filled with Erotica great tracks, like that huge dance interlude after Rain and how much she speaks during a few parts. I guess Erotica and Justify are flawless, some of my all time Madonna performances. Although the band is also great, I don't know, but there's something about this show that makes me feel tired of what it sounds like by the end, I feel the same about Britney's Onyx Hotel Tour. The WTG is IMO her best sounding tour in terms of band, I love its rawness. About MDNA, I used to love it to death back in 2012 and nowadays I kind of agree with what some people mentioned here. First act is remarkably good, she's extremely beautiful and energetic but that TUTR act brings me down. Then I love the Vogue/CS/HN segment but I can't stand that version of LAV. After she included Love Spent I think this part got a bit more interesting. The final act has never pleased me except for LAP which always works. Even Celebration I have always had the impression something was missing. Now, can anyone explain me the hate towards S&S? This has been my favorite tour since it came out. I guess CT and Blond Ambition will be topping this poll
  2. That's exactly what I feel. And I'm not religious. In fact I have always loved to see Madonna ironizing the church but Holy Water just doesn't feel right, if only it had happened in the 90s
  3. 1. Get Together 2. Stay I can't go on, I love most of her songs (except for great part of MDNA e MX), it's impossible to rank 20 of them
  4. How do you guys feel about Holy Water? It has always irritated me plus I hate the lyrics considering it's 2015 and not the 90s to be harping on this string. I was never fond of the performance either, although it got a lot of love from fans if I remember well
  5. I have finally found someone who doesn't really like Forbidden Love COADF
  6. I think we can all agree that Autotube Baby is her all time worst song
  7. Autotune Baby Funana B-Day Song I Fucked Up Superstar Bitch I'm Madonna Back That Up (MX version, I have always been fond of the 2015 demo) Love Song Did You Do It Forbidden Love 2005 (sorry, I know it's normally liked by fans but I can't stand this track and it bothers me it gets all the love while the 94 one falls into forgetness and I love it) - I have a theory that Madonna does know in fact when she records a bad song and then she makes it a point to release it as a way to irritate people, because it's hard to believe the same person who once produced and recorded gems such as Papa Don't Preach, LAP, Erotica, ROL, Music, HU, etc, also thinks that B-Day Song is good enough to be on an album. Plus, until the 00s she had a few boring songs sometimes but during this last decade, whenever she set herself to record a bad song, she really put in a lot of hard work to it, I even imagine her thought when she was doing Autotune Baby "Oh it's still not bad enough, let's try it harder"
  8. I get a bit confused with those releases that aren't announced by herself, no matter the label I'm never fully confident about their officiality. I buy them anyways, in spite of not enjoying the RHT very much I loved what the vinyl looked like. I'm more excited about this one considering it has Sodade (I don't care much about Crave), but my OCD is ringing because the digital has a different artwork. I wish both had this new cover.
  9. I feel the same about it. Plus considering the period we are, nowadays it's kind of risky to release a lot of physical stuff since people basically only buy vinyls. I don't belong to this category because I still buy CDs, DVDs, Blu-Rays, Vinyls and cassettes if it is the case. And speaking of which, I still can't believe they are missing the opportunity to reissue Celebration vinyl now that the same named tour is coming.
  10. Guys, how official is this release? Why isn't it available on M's official store? I don't understand much about these issues
  11. I really don't care about less dancing, I don't thing this has ever been necessary for Madonna to put on a great performance. There are so many performances from her back catalogue in which she didn't dance much and they were all outstanding. I just miss her singing, nowadays she uses too much playback in her performances, it has been like this since the Rebel Heart Tour, but I'm sure this is something I must get used to, considering her voice seems to be very spent by this point (I don't understand about voice but I daresay she damaged it by singing in higher tunes than she could take during her entire career). We can see a notable improvement comparing this performance to Medellín/Music with Maluma. At least this time she took some time to rehearse and didn't seem to be lost.
  12. It would be amazing but I don't think it will ever be released, we know that after some time Madonna tends to disregard her own material (although Madame X has so far lived more than her alter egos usually do)
  13. Well I'm not shocked, I must say when I heard she was going to perform I knew exactly what to expect. I see a lot of people complaining about the dancing, singing, styling and justifying these issues with her age but I really don't see a conection. There are tons of performances from 1983-2012 in which she doesn't do any demanding routine and they turned out outstanding even though (Gambler Virgin Tour/Fever Arsenio Hall/Sooner Or Later Oscar/Nobody's Perfect DWT/Hollywood performances/Express Yourself MDNA Tour). Her problem isn't not being capable of dancing anymore, this is completely normal at her age, but the fact she doesn't seem to put in dedication in elaborating a performance anymore plus she seems to want to defy people by being what she calls sexual just to impose it is okay to be racy when you're 60 but she doesn't do it well, the sexy Madonna from now is not natural as the 2012 one, for example. If only she had great vocals but this is something she never really cared too much about and now her voice seems to be totally spent and there's nothing left. I don't know whether the voice issue is fixable, I don't understand about it, but considering she has done a lot of bad sung performances but still amazing to watch, a lot of not so energetic performances in terms of dancing, I don't see any limitations her age can bring to lead her to perform this way right now, I can only think she just doesn't care anymore. If you consider Justify My Love form the Girlie Show, there's no dancing nor singing (except for the ending) but it was so well done, and I can't see the Madonna we have now mastering that.
  14. I hope he is correct. I would like to have a physical release so we can own it forever.
  15. I didn't see the show live but I actually didn't like many of the pieces I saw/heard. I got mad at the fact she sang basically the whole concert using that annoying effect on her voice. Actually I don't even know how much of that is really live or pre-recorded. I have the same doubt about the MDNA Tour. Another thing I was disappointed with is that she didn't seem to be so creative with regard to the setlist and how the songs are put together. I mean, there's always a logic behind it but this time, according to what I heard (I might change my mind when I see the whole footage) it seems like a karaoke - one song after another, with no connection among them. Many o fthe backdrops are the actual videos of the songs, Madonna basically never did this before, not during the nearly whole concert. Years ago a tour was a chance many songs would be given to receive a video (Paradise, Bedtime 2004, DAD 2008, Justify 2012). This actually started on RHT. I'm really not bothered by the fact she's not as energetic as she used to be, I totally understand she reached a certain age and at this point, it's even dangerous to do the things she did (I actually think it was already dangerous 10 years ago, but I guess I was wrong). I don't think a good show consists in energetic dance routines, I think it's about creativity and knowing how to put things together, something she has always done perfectly well, but after RHT I think she doesn't have so many ideas on how to do it anymore or maybe she is just tired. And yes, as far as I have seen (very little), I would say MXT is her worst tour, but I'm not saying the concert is bad at all, I just think the others outstand, even RHT.
  16. I'm still not sure whether this DVD is really coming. I'm afraid she gets too excited about the movie and forgets about the show
