  1. "Her fans are older, and have grown up with her since her 1982 debut."

Im tired of this misconception tbh. Yes some 80s fans stuck with her but so did fans who became fans in the 90s, and in the 00s.  :dead:

People still say this. It's really irritating, I was born in 1997 and the first album I ever heard was Ray of Light (grateful for this tbh). You can still grow up with all 80s Madonna, then all the 90s material and visuals, then 00s and continue as she goes on. As a child, all I remember is only listening to and watching all Madonna things, and nothing current of the time. Age is so irrelevant when it comes to Madonna's fanbase. Maybe it's a subtle way of trying to diminish her endlessly growing amount of fans because we all still grew up with her really, some of us just didn't have to wait inbetween many albums/album eras

  2. I agree. I think the fall was on purpose and I don't think she was really drinking alcohol either. It was all an act, part of the show, i mean, come on, she was dressed as a clown and clowns are comical and can be clumsy and goofy, but the press and some people seem to just see things absolutely literally and not understand or care to acknowledge any irony, wit or performance. Oh well, I try not to concern myself with the press (not just to do with M, but in general TBH) anymore, but the first thing on my TV when I switched it on this morning was a debate/news programme and the topic was M going off the rails, being drunk, late, falling over, etc, etc, blah, blah, blah.....yawn.

It was, she did it on the Rebel Heart Tour too, I could see her hand go underneath to tip it over from the video. I think she did drink for real at Tears of a Clown, I think M's response about being drunk is about on the actual tour shows. I think she was genuinely sad the night she performed her Tears of a Clown show for the first time, and maybe just needed something. She seemed vulnerable throughout, just with her usual sense of humour. "If you just relax, it doesn't hurt as much", she said a few nights later. I find it hard to truly concern myself with the press or most things because you can never underestimate people's stupidity unfortunately. Plus media don't even care if what they're posting about is true or accurate, it's pretty much just clickbait. Like the "Madonna begs fans for sex" articles. They post the video and it clearly doesn't go with the headline at all. The only valid criticisms I even see are about her being incredibly late. In this case, I'm not sure her being late for a free show is really a valid complaint though, to be quite honest. And of course, like I said before, what she said before Borderline appears to have been ignored... that's odd.

  3. Charlamagne Tha God Disgusts with Misogyny Towards Madonna

“In Madonna’s case, go away. Age gracefully. Pop up at an award show every now and then. And then grow so old that when you die people like ‘Damn, I thought she been dead?’.â€

This is exactly the opposite of what Madonna should do, lol. Unless she wanted to obviously, but just... no.

  4. My ultimate favourite moment was Send in the Clowns. Also Nobody's Perfect, Paradise (Not for Me), Mer Girl & X-Static Process. I'm glad she performed Between the Bars too but I haven't seen that performance yet. She also said she has a borderine personality at this show, I'm surprised to see no comments about it.. I don't think that was a joke. People are unusually hard on her though and I'd have thought that would have picked up a few more comments, but I haven't seen one. Surely that wasn't a joke?

  5. Why are people getting so defensive? It's not like anybody's personally talking about you. Maybe he's asking because he plans to go see Madonna. Reminder that this isn't about Madonna, it's about some bitchy fans that will obviously exist in some places. Calm down about the "intention behind the post". Maybe there isn't one. The best place to ask should be a Madonna forum, no?

  6. I've finished my Rebel Heart iTunes version, using super deluxe cover.

  7. It amuses me to no end that a deluxe clean version of the album even exists.  Just because "ass" and "bitch" are bleeped out, does that really make S.E.X. any less embarrassing to listen to in public?  "Oh my God, you're so hot... hold my hair, let me get on top."

    Surely it's "Pull my hair"
