  1. Well, it's a mix of performances and unfortunately, the audio is horribly mixed.  I was watching it earlier and noticed that it's not in sync very well.  But yeah, it's nice to have.  And it just boggles my mind how I was able to get the Japan release so quick while I'm still awaiting for the domestic version to arrive. In fact, according to tracking, the U.S. Blu-Ray and Double CD I ordered is being held 50 miles from me since Saturday.  Crazy!!!

A lot of the show itself isn't in sync on the DVD. It's just a tiny bit off, the edits would look better if they were timed better, they would be more effective at least.

  2. Guys, I was wondering here, do you think she chooses to over saturate the image in her releases (music videos, concerts, advertising, etc...) for her skin to be almost white and people don't see imperfections in her face?

We all know how she likes to be perfect.

This just crossed my mind 'cause I really like to see the details, and with overexposed whites in the picture we loose that. :(

I think so. She likes to play with the contrast to hide her imperfection. it has been a while she is doing this. For photoshoots, for Music videos, for concerts. More you have your skin white, more you're gonna look better. It is also a cinema trick. All the 20, 30, 40, 50s movie stars where having this trick during movies or photoshoots :)

Yeah, the older tricks included vaseline under make up lmao. I don't like that she does it either, it's too obvious and looks like some kind of bad screen recording in parts. She did the same for MDNA Tour. In some parts you can't even see her nose. From the 20s to the 50s that stuff was very well done and subtle, this definitely isn't. (Btw you're beautiful @@MisterFabian :kissy: )

  3. Hey everyone! So I have a question concerning the different formats or packaging of M's tours. Having got RHT, I loved the packaging, DVD and CD tucked away inside a neat little square. Just this Thursday I was in local music store and found Confessions just like how Rebel Heart was, DVD and CD in a neat little square package. So my question is, have all her tours since Confessions been released this way? Obviously not Drowned World or any tours prior and Reinvention was mainly a documentary release so I don't know if that even came out like Confessions or Rebel Heart given that. What about Sticky and Sweet and MDNA? Really wanting to start grabbing the tours now, since I have more than just one. But I like how Confessions and Rebel Heart are, so if the rest came the same, those are the ones I want.

Confessions Tour, S&S Tour, MDNA Tour and RHT all have digipack releases along with DVD only versions in the usual DVD cases. There's also a CD only version of RHT (lol....). There's a CD size edition of IGTTYAS too but it isn't a digipack.

EDIT: Wait actually I don't know if there is one for MDNA Tour, I think so though.

  4. "Hey you! Don't you give up! It's not so bad," I forgive you! Haha! Although I'm not sure theres much more for the two. They had the duet performance for Ghosttown, which I'm sure no one remembers except us. And there is an article nit picking the music video for all the pop music rip offs it features, including standing amongst her alter-egos or various career stages (really they had to make a couple up just for the video if I'm not mistaken) and the most stunning being the car crash at just the right angle (also a flashy car).

The only Madonna performances I've 100% intentionally avoided and will never watch/hear are the one with Miley Cyrus and the one with Taylor Swift.

  5. But they do include the "classics".  GHV2 pretty much picked up where Immaculate Collection left off.  I'm not saying a couple of songs could have been switched out, but it pretty much represented the essentials in the 90's.   As Celebration pretty much represented her biggest Iconic hits throughout her career.  It seems silly to me to nickle and dime these over a couple odd inclusions or exclusions, when for the most part the collections did include the biggest hits.  As for Evita,  I can see leaving off "You Must Love Me" and "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" since they were already included on the GHV2 and Something To Remember.  Also, I truly don't see how any of those songs really would fit Celebration when we have more the 90% of the collection full of defining songs.  I'll give you "Miles Away", but all the other songs were major hits for her with the exception of "Sorry" and "Hollywood" in a few other regions. But the missing of "Angel" and "Give it 2 Me" (great songs) doesn't makes that set definitive and not up to "caliber".  It certainly does celebrate nearly 30 years of her career.  I'm sure any casual or non-fan would not even remember songs like "Give it 2 Me" and "Angel".

But that's my opinion.  Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Give It 2 Me is pretty well known.

  6. @@James19709 The thing is I have no interest in reading it.  I know the jest of it, based on reviews, fan accounts of reading it, and excerpts.  The fact is he wrote it without her permission and because he was pissed at her.  He wanted to profit from that.  He knew people would be interested in juicy accounts of her life whether embellished or not.  I'm sure he will deal with trust issues with her for the rest of his life.

Then why even post in the thread lmao

  7. A lot of the cringey songs for me land in her early career where singles were everything and then the rest of the albums songs were kind of forgettable.

    1. I Know It

    2. Pretender

    3. Jimmy Jimmy

    4. Love Makes the World Go Round

    5. Dear Jessie

    6. Survival

    7. Don't Stop

    8. Nobody's Perfect

    9. Isaac

    10. Dance2Night

    11. B-Day Song

    12. Graffiti Heart

    13. Inside Out

I did these in chronological order, so I went ahead and listed 13 to give all the ones I could have done with out. SEX technically should have made it, but these are songs I absolutely never listen to or care for and I must admit SEX has been given more listens than any of these.

Omg I forgot Graffiti Heart existed. Absolutely awful.

  8. 1. White Heat

2.Love Makes the world go around

    3. Dear Jessie

    4. Over and over

    5. True Blue (love the video & look though)

    6. Give Me All Your Luvin (loved the video and look though)

    7. Hey You( i loved the lyrics  just not the music)

    I can't make the 10 list

Glad someone else thinks Over and Over is cringeworthy. I didn't include it in my list but that song has def made me cringe before. Same with Hey You. However... True Blue is so not cringeworthy :O One of my favourites! I love that song. The acoustic version at Rebel Heart Tour was everything.

  9. For now (released songs)

    1- Holy water

    2- Spanish lesson

3- Give me all your luvin'

    4- Did you do It?

    5- B-day song

    6- Ring my Bell

    7- I love New York

    8- Don't stop

    9- Let down your guard

    10- Freedom

Which Freedom? Bedtime Stories sessions or Rebel Heart?
