No. I prefer a greatest hits album, with older tracks available on vinyl but never available on CD...

Now Apple owns the charts?? Please. The only chart that counts is Billboard Hot 100, nevertheless it is irrelevant nowadays because Apple took over. Apple can't and doesn't own the music biz. I couldn't care less about Apple and don't have any of its products, so I guess my streamings don't add up to anything.

Some fans like GGW, Turn Up the radio, Revolver, others like Dark Ballet that's why we have different tastes as fans

    Charts mean nothing now
Dark Ballet is definitely the best song released so far from Madame X it's not commercial at all and this is what I want from her

Cadorcha reacted to artlover in Madonna's sister Paula at Oprah Winfrey Show
Guys, this is an old video from what I believe is in between late 80s and early 90s tops.
Here M's sis Paula, which was a struggling model and actress and singer back then, tells in an sisters-of-famous-people Oprah special that she admitted to envy her absurdly famous sister but that was proud of her at the same time. Personally I find it a very brave thing to do. We human beings don't like to embrace our flaws or sins.
I was wondering where is she now? Have she made it in an alternative market? I haven't seen any pictures from her family in years.
What did Paula lack hence she didn't accomplish any commercial success? I think she was kind of too vulnerable, she even seems a bit hurt by her flop. She also seemed to lack the bitchiness and sassiness M was full of. That thing makes people call her cold. I call it practical. Paula might not have survived the industry because of the comparisons, the bad side of the media.

Everyone complains that she doesn’t offer anything new or exciting anymore.
Then when she does, it’s just more complaints.
You can’t have your cake and eat it too. Sure, it’s disappointing, but for some of you to be wishing that she has no success with her album or tour is childish and BRATTY. She wants to do something different and can you blame her? I’m sure we’d get bored with doing huge tours too if it’s all we’ve done for 30+ years.
Maybe we should just feel lucky that she’s touring at all. She doesn’t have to. No one said that because she releases an album she has to tour. But she is and she’s doing something that feels good to her. It’s okay to be disappointed but don’t act like a spoiled kid who didn’t get their way.

I find it completely rude and ungrateful from her side to sell these prices. All the fans must have the option to attend the show and not to be excluded. She talks about equality where is it?

Flawless indeed. It has aged really well. And let's not forget that she didn't include Who's that girl (#1), Causin' a commotion (#2), True blue (#3), Dress you up and Angel (both #5).
The artwork is outstanding too. And no matter what many say, Q-Sound sounds amazing

Cadorcha got a reaction from dhrbb03 in Possible controversial thoughts based on hearing the RAY OF LIGHT DEMO ASSEMBLY....
Yes. There's an spontaneity to them, but then I think any demo from any artist has those same qualities. In Madonnaa's case, her demos are sometimes better than the final versions. And let's not forget that Into the groove IS a demo that was ultimately released.
Which is great about demos is that they bring the possibility of contrast, so both versions can be appreciated differently. We are inclined, I don't know really why, to favour the demos. Maybe is it because we think they're more "real"? Or more "indie"?
IMO, Nothing really matters is melodically better as much as No subtitute for love. Be careful is great. I wouldn't be too sure about the other tracks. She seems uncertain of which  direction to take. It's jazzy sometimes.
Thanks a lot for sharing this.

Classy in the sense that she released the book and those were the images we got. All photos in that book were professional and lighting/angles were on point for the look of the project. No IG selfies with horrible angles or any of that stuff. A lot of my younger cousins, when they talk about Madonna, thats the first thing out of their mouths, "She needs to get off social media!" lol While I don't agree with that, I do think she needs to think about what/how she is portraying herself. She should never censor herself, but she should never embarrass herself either.
And believe it or not, the SEX era opened up so many doors, so much conversation etc.. It was artistic, not messy. She put thought into it, planned, etc..  When the book came out I was 10 years old. I remember some things but I was more into her music and movies than her sex book at 10 years old lol I did see some headlines but I was smart enough to know not to believe everything I read, and I knew they were opinions of editors and columnists, NOT the general public. I mean there were people who loathed Evita as well lol You can't please everybody. I think the sex book would do awesome in todays age, possibly even so in her 60s. Its just a different time and I think the social media stuff and her image a lot of the time is what steers people away unfortunately. Because her music and her voice is still incredible!
