  1. The world is fortunately waaay bigger than the United States of America.
  2. What a stupid comment. Kylie’s impact is literally only matched by Madonna’s. Respect.
  3. Thank you! Amazon US is territory restricted though. I ordered on Fnac but if Amazon US removes the restriction I'll cancel on Fnac and buy it there. It's cheaper on Fnac but it'll probably arrive with customs fees
  4. Honestly, if the prices we’ll get for the reissues are like this I’ll pass too. I just can’t afford it.
  5. Already sold out on UK store 🤣. Good for those who didn’t get the original pressing but such an absurd release. And the price is just ridiculous, plus I would NEVER spend that kind of money on her store. I only got the first pressing cause it was available on CD Japan and it would arrive safely and TRACKED. Hard pass for me.
  6. Omg so happy it’s official. How much is it $$?
  7. Wow. It’s really well done. I’m she’ll announce the official standard vinyl we saw on Ricardo Gomes’s instagram eventually
  8. That's fair. I don't like Christina Aguilera's voice for example but I do know she's a great vocalist, I just don't enjoy her style. But back on topic, I think Kylie was originally brought into this discussion regarding the reissues of her first 4 albums and I do wish Madonna's reissues were like those! Just a little thinner cause the boxes are a bitch to store! Kinda like this one. It's probably the most beautiful reissue of an album I own. Very complete too. I'd love Warner to reissue her discography like this. The box is also big but not as wide as Kylie's Cherry Red reissues
  9. Indeed! Here's a small clip of her vocal highlights in case there's any doubt. She's a trained strong vocalist.
  10. Yeah. Nothing against Kylie yet the passive agressive comments are there. It's totally understandable that you don't like her but there's no need to undermine her success and her impact, that's all I'm saying. If you can't see it that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. She does play it safe most of the time and that's why I love her, Madonna doesn't and that's why I love her. Like I said, they're very different. Vocally she's amazing, nothing like Britney, she's no Monica Naranjo but she has a great voice and she's all in all a great performer. She's THE showgirl (best show woman after Madonna, she's actually been awarded for it) I love Britney too btw but there's just no comparison. As for the "harmless enough" comment, there's not a single artist who's ever represented a real threat to Madonna's status so I agree on that as well (just not on the intention). But back to your original post, I do agree they shouldn't be compared at all cause they couldn't be more different and comparisons in general are pointless.
  11. Unfortunately. Kylie is probably the most underrated pop star of her generation. She's the Princess of Pop in terms of merit. After Madonna, she's the female pop star who's had the most impact and is rarely ever given the recognition she deserves. If by "America" you mean the US, yeah you're right, Kylie's said it herself. The US makes a huge difference and her crossover didn't succeed as expected but her catalogue is almost as big as Madonna's so it's only natural that some compare them although I agree they shouldn't be compared cause they could hardly be more different. They've both inspired each other MANY times but Madonna fans are not ready for that conversation. I love them both just as much . So Kylie is hardly a local act nor a one hit wonder. In the UK, DISCO sold 2 times more than Madame X and Rebel Heart combined. The world is waaaaay bigger than the US and Kylie's well known in all of Europe, Australia, Latinamerica etc. Madonna is the only Queen of Pop (by far) but Kylie is the Princess of Pop (outside the US). Not everything is measured by local numbers. If she was so "irrelevant" her name wouldn't keep popping up in here every other day. (Same thing I say on Kylie's forum when someone tries to drag Madonna over pretty much everything).
  12. Hardly trash. They're on Like a Virgin's level. Half killer, half filler but yeah, they're her weakest works (especially the first one and the 4th one)
  13. We know she probably slept with that 16 y/o when she was older than that and we don’t care. Can this topic be closed for good? It’s a troll/woke magnet. We don’t care about anybody’s moral compass. If it was consensual and they both enjoyed it, then GOOD FOR HER. Not that long ago I was 16 and I dated guys way older than 20 and I’m perfectly fine. I’m not saying it’s good or bad but I’m saying it happens. Sometimes it seems that times have changed for the worse with the wokes acting like the morality police. Whatever Madonna does in her personal life is her business not ours. An opinion will never be a fact. Just live and let live.
  14. Ok so if the rumors are true I’m guessing: Northamerica (July - August) South America (October) Europe (November - December) All the rumored dates in Latin America (north and south) are around October/November so it would make sense before Europe.
  15. Hopefully it’ll include Mexico in North America
  16. If her ticket prices are abusive again she’s in for a box office bomb. She can’t possibly be more expensive than in Madame X and that was an “intimate experience”. As of this, yes the prices are ridiculous.
  17. Same. I got mine in 2016 for like $350 (it’s the japanese one though) but $1500-$3000 is abusive for a fan. But well, it’s for “charity” again.
  18. At least you get to keep them. Mine arrived damaged. They’re not offering a replacement, just refund if I return it. I also ordered a Kylie Orange Impossible Princess Vinyl there and I’m scared it will be damaged too. It’s unbelievable that they won’t bother to pack things with care.
  19. Calm down. The tours were fine. They were great shows, no one’s saying otherwise, she’s the ultimate performer, but she did struggle to sell out especially during Madame X; and her touring reputation is in really bad shape since The MDNA Tour due to her excessive lateness (which for us, the fans, is ok and even enjoyable but not for the general public) and the cancellations on the Madame X Tour didn’t help at all. The lack of hits on previous tours was taken well by the general public because the albums were hugely successful but with an album like Madame X it just didn’t sit well for non Madonna die hard fans. A well handled greatest hits tour is the only plausible way for her to sell out stadium and regain her credibility as a live act (no grillz, no political stuff, no twerking, no cringy stuff). If she tours stadiums with demos and b-sides or even a new album it could potentially be a box office bomb especially with her prices which we know will be high. Also, she needs to make sure she can get through the shows with her current physical condition cause another Madame X Tour would tank her.
  20. With her current touring reputation the only show that would actually sell out stadiums is a Greatest Hits Tour. Nothing else will. A Madonna “Anti Tour” like Kylie’s would be amazing but not as a stadium tour
  21. Neither my Erotica order nor my Kylie orders have shipped yet :(. I ordered on Amazon US (orange IP vinyl and Erotica and the other IP variants on Kylie’s store)
