  1. Madame X is her best album since Confessions, its definitely not superior and im not saying this because I hate rap, im saying it because Confessions is a killer dance album and feels much more coherent then Madame X, although Madame X is still very good compared to previous efforts like MDNA and Hard Candy.
  2. Prince and Madonna were very good friends, they reached out to each other several times and attended concerts of one another. 1985 also has all the clues that they might have even slept together at least once because the night that Madonna presents Prince with an award at the AMA's you can see her biting her lip and its obvious she was attracted to him, the next day, since neither of them attended the We Are the World sessions, Prince and Madonna were photographed together at dinner and then in a car driving, Prince sleeping with women he was working with was nothing new, the guy got a hell of a lot of action in the 80s although he was always discreet. He designed the outfit that she wore for her live aid appearance and even if they grew more distant in the 90's because of Princes battle with his record label, they obviously renewed their friendship in the 2000s. Prince and Madonna will always be my favorite artists and I am glad they they seemed to care for one another.
  3. It has nothing to do with if the artist is alive or dead, Michael Jackson fans have hated Madonna for a very longtime. I can think of other fanbases that despise her as well and these artists are alive, like Lady Gaga and Elton John, when Madonna is dead herself, I suspect the worst of the sad trolling will end and many of the same haters will be talking about influential she was. Apparently the beef with Michael Jackson and Madonna goes back to when they went to the Oscars together and Madonna criticized Michaels hairstyle and fashion. After that he seemed to have it in for her and there is even a recording of him throwing shade at her and calling her a witch.
  4. Yeah its creepy to seemingly always be fantasizing about a man who hated you with a passion lol, this picture says it all

  6. Madonna still trying to convince everyone that she and Michael Jackson were actually friends??
  7. Why do we need her to do horror or supernatural when she has a social media account we can view.?
  8. Lol I despise the remix but I have been streaming it anyway with the mute on, we need to support The Queen.
  9. Madonna is a control freak to an extraordinary level, its why she has always had problems collaborating with strongminded individuals and instead brings in people like Nicki Minaj who will basically go along with whatever her idea is. This same control freak mentality has fucked up many of her movies as well, which is why George Harrison shaded her after Shanghai Surprise.
  10. Yeah it just means the one that is currently getting the most interest, that 17 million is nice though.
  11. These reissue rumors have me scared silly, the mediocre collaborations are bad enough, the last thing we need is a full on campaign to butcher classics like Human Nature.
  12. Yeah the production of this movie was toxic as fuck, the movie itself is kinda mehhh but Madonna's personal performance is fairly strong.
  13. Yeah she performed Everybody for the first time in 1982, Madonna did her time in clubs and worked really hard to learn as much as she could in those times. Her work ethic was pretty intense, if she has spent less time on crappy movies and even more on her studio albums, who knows how many other masterpieces she could have put out in the 80's and 90's. The thing I have always admired about Madonna is how fearless her attitude was then. These days. she seems to be more bothered by criticism, I am glad that with Madame X though, that she did something she was really inspired to create, its her first album in awhile that has not tried to chase trends at the cost of compromising her art, although it could have done without the horrible collaborations.
  14. I dont like Material Girl and never did, especially when everyone misunderstood the point of the video and I had to endure Madonna singing it in that wretched voice on Blonde Ambition, the track has left a sour taste in my mouth ever since.
  15. In terms of Madonna's quality because they are still better than the crap your average pop star churns out.
  16. If Confessions was damage control, we need quality like that again for her next album LAV is an inferior album to TB and LAP in every way and that includes songwriting, music videos and instrumentation. Like a Prayer was the album that made critics take notice of her artistic abilities. The fact that she relied so heavily on her image at the start was both a gift and a curse, it gave her mass appeal but also meant critics were quick to dismiss her as an image with little substance, she was held in such disdain by many of her peers in 1985 that Michael and Lionel did not even invite her to participate in We are the World, which is kinda ironic because the song they came up was a crappy karaoke number that Cyndi Lauper ended up hating to sing and Prince thought it was so trash he refused to even attend the sessions. Dress You Up is a fun track but that guitar solo is nothing short of pathetic. Some older fans are so hung up on Nostalgia that they constantly hold LAV in high regard, when in reality it is her worst 80's album in my opinion.
  17. I dont think there is going to be a physical release, especially now that she is gearing up for the biopic.
  18. Its also the album where Madonna started actively chasing trends rather than setting them. Some people like to shit on Madame X but atleast it is something more original and creative for the first time in awhile. I dont think Madonna was inspired to create music during the Hard Candy and MDNA era's and that really showed in how bad the albums were.
  19. You know, as bad as MDNA was, I have always hated Hard Candy so much more, a generally horrible album, especially when you consider it was coming off Confessions. The Hard Candy and MDNA era's are the lowest point of her career for me.
  20. Stay and Pretender at 2 and 3????? Jesus Christ your list really was far off.
  21. As far as I am aware nothing has been confirmed yet.
