  1. :)) I am sure she did. Don't count me on that. Thanks for flagging my delusional remark haha I was going through an emotional rollercoster due to songs or backdrops that I never thought I would see or listen live, such as Erotica and on top of that You thrill me, Justify my love, Bad Girl, and Reinvention opening!!!,
  2. I put them in Wetransfer Here is the link: https://we.tl/t-6MzHJSEef3
  3. I remember her singing Rain on the first night. Maybe i was too drunk haha
  4. I have two not-great recordings of Frozen from the second night in Toronto. She didn't sing Frozen on the first night. How can I upload it? it says they are larger than the maximum of a file size.
  5. Hi everyone, I got tickets for both nights but now I have to see the one for the Thursday, January 11 TORONTO show. I bought it resale so unfortunately it is more expensive than what you would pay when buying as a regular. it is in Section 320, front row. Let me know if you are interested. I am happy to sell it at its cost (i can also show you the receipt.)
  6. Selling 1 ticket for Thursday, January 11 show, for original (resale) price. Details: Section 320, front row.
  7. Hopefully, it does happen some time soon. Both are having another peak lately. Kylie's revival is so so so good (Album demos are promising, like the lead single.) I was thinking... I think Kylie and many other women artists should continue to fangirl her (forever) cos Madonna continues paving the way for them (Recall the narrow-minded hateful and sexist dialogues about M's music, dancing, shows, songs, costumes etc after she turned 50.) Today, there seems to be no discussion concerning 'how Kylie is 50 and still trying (hard) to produce hits, how she is desperate to stay relevant and appeal to tictock and young generation, how she is not dressing appropriately, how she does not age gracefully etc. Of course, things change over time and it is not solely Madonna's doing. Yet, I think she plays a significant role in such changes in a way no artist has previously done or will ever be able to do in future. Today, she have been taking tons of shit again and paving another alternative way to being 60 in the music business and in life.
  8. Fingers crossed! That would be epic! Hope she gets much more vulgar than her haters and some illiberal so-called fans claim she is.
  9. Hopefully! Tabloid hate towards Madonna in the UK is enough for dozens of phd projects! Interesting to see how sexism and misogyny are so welcomed in Brit media. Yes, let's hope that she gets what she deserves.
  10. I am all excited for it, if it does not go to No.1 in the UK, madonnahatred/madonnafobia in the UK is proven (once again)
  11. I dropped in to get some news on this project and I lost my energy and excitement after skimming through a few pages. How amazing! I was not and will never be ready to read an opinion piece trying to trash/bs Human Nature...
  12. Everything aside, her never-ending energy, joy, enthusiasm, curiosity, excitement for life and fun is unmatchable and very inspiring to me. No dullness in her eyes or body language! Whenever someone closer to 30 (or X) starts talking about getting old, getting tired easily or not feeling excited for 'fun' etc, I just think of this amazing creature and try to send myself into a trance full of images and videos of her like this one.
  13. That cover photo!!!!!!! I want it on my t-shirts, tank tops, on the back of my jean jacket, and on my wall!
  14. 'Paris is Burning' is a great documentary, but there are also many ethical issues with it. I recommend you look at some some of the criticism around how it was shot, used, narrated and circulated etc. Director, who is a white cis woman, exploited the people in the documentary, their life and vulnerabilities. Nonetheless it is a great document shedding light onto what could have remained unseen otherwise.
  15. Rumour has it that Chris involved in producing Madonna's next album, and these are the outtakes from those session. It kinda sounds plausible when considered that Madonna is not the type of artist that would go in studio just for other people's songs.
  16. Chris does great quality music! His sound is quite fresh and artistic, rather than redundant. I am quite excited to hear the collabs! Hopefully, M sings but not in a 'Champagne Rose' way. Also, please pay a little bit of attention to not misgender Chris despite otherwise having been voiced many times. We already see and live in quite troubling times for trans folks especially in the US.
  17. This pic/dance break reminds me of S&S Like a Prayer and Frozen part, which I love. Such a f strong badass classic M pose/dance
  18. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CpLdYU8gidX/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Her 4 second long dance move in this post got me lose my shite! 4 seconds!
  19. Another reason to adore and respect her is how she claps back at her critics, rather than being restrainted by them.
  20. 26th Place: Madonna’s output from her 1983 debut LP all the way to 2000’s Music is one of the most impressive runs in the history of pop music. She went through Bowie-like stylistic changes with practically every album but always stayed on top of trends and never lost her ability to generate hits. All of that came to a screeching halt in 2003 with American Life. Released weeks after the start of the Iraq War, the album finds Madonna confronting a post-9/11 world and a desire to move beyond narcissistic desires. “I used to live in a tiny bubble,” she sings on “I’m So Stupid.” “And I wanted to be like all the pretty people that were all around me/But now I know for sure that I was stupid.” These are noble sentiments, but the music came at a time when she was just learning how to play guitar and rap. Her skills at both were rather rudimentary, and her decision to work with French techno producer Mirwais Ahmadzaï (who had been on board for the more successful Music) added yet another element that caused the whole project to become hopelessly muddled when it wasn’t just downright embarrassing. The world in 2003 had little use for Madonna the folk guitarist or Madonna the rapper. When she reverted back to dance music for 2005’s Confessions on a Dance Floor, it was a tacit acknowledgement that she’d made a horrible mistake. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-lists/horrible-albums-by-brilliant-artists-1234672895/ Language of the article is overall horrible and demeaning. Another piece of S written by a meh.
  21. I believe my choice of the word 'will' is dialectical here It is not the only one, but it is the one that I can't get over with (Even Hey You is better than that song). I agree with you on Batuka, I Rise, and God Control. Batuka is a well-done song, something new to the pop genre. Dark Ballet is an interesting song with experimental quality, which I really appreciate, but it still falls short lyrically (to me). God Control is sonically great! The intro of God Control is brilliant!!!, but I think the rest does kinda take away from its quality.
