When Alexis Arquette won the MTV Madonna Vogue contest

Yep, the late Alexis Arquette was quite the Madonna fan, she kept a pic from the DSS set of her and her sister Rosanna sat next to each other and Madonna standing behind them with her hands on their hand like he was blessing them like the pope according to Alexis in interviews. Before transitionning she was quite big in the drag scene both in LA and NYC, you can see her at the Paris Is Burning Premiere aligned with all the other local drags and she was famously filmed in the Wigstock documentary. 

So back to 1990, she entered the MTV Madonna Vogue contest, directed and featured in her own video with friends. She won 1st place.
