  1. Glasgow and Birmingham shows (previously rescheduled) are cancelled as well
  2. if people have been corrected and continue to misgender someone then the odds are that they are willfully ignorant. I could use less colourful language to describe them but I don't want to get a warning
  3. can you post a screenshot of what was said

  5. I remember when I opened a thread about Sam covering Human Nature it descended into a mess. Let's hope this one fares better
  6. I don't think she was in the studio w/ Mirwais, he was just there at the SEX book relaunch party in Miami
  7. I'm sad that there wasn't any more press / b roll / pro shot footage from the opening night of the madame x tour like in previous tours. Didn't we only get the press footage of Sodade after she got to Lisbon several months after the tour started?
  8. she was in the studio with The Weeknd's manager back when she was with Malik and she also bought his mansion in LA only to sell it a year later.

  12. ''Hollywood is like a metaphor for me. It's the city of dreams and superficiality. It's the place where you forget about the really interesting things in life. In Hollywood you can lose your memory and your vision of the future. You can lose everything because you can lose yourself." —Madonna speaking to Spanish radio station Los 40 Principales about the song
  13. In the VH1 special Madonna Speaks, Madonna clarified that the theme behind "Hollywood", as well as "American Life" And "I'm So Stupid" from the album, was about her "wanting to shout from the rooftops that we have all been living in a dream. I have been living in a dream — and you're all living in a dream and we have to wake up to reality. I've always thought Hollywood is a tounge in cheek reference to a place of pop stars and illusory dreams.
  14. Looking For Mercy is one of the best songs she's ever made and it's not getting enough recognition.
  15. the rap on American Life (title track) is genius, totally intentional mockery of rap music and not to be taken seriously (though I do kind of believe she takes it seriously but I try and not think about that)
  16. Every tour from The Girlie Show onwards is way better than the previous ones. Blond Ambition Tour is great, yes but Madonna has surpassed that so many times already and it's by no means her best tour, and it's actually hugely overrated compared to her far superior recent ones.
  17. Have you tried the remixology thread? https://madonna-infinity.net/forums/topic/19136-madonna-remixology-archive/
  18. Drownedmadonna on FB. 'Instagram user @pitonamorosa had a chat with none other than Max Martin, the legendary music producer. And guess what? He spilled some tea about the song he wrote with Madonna! @pitonamorosa got to meet Max in London at the last West End performance of his musical "&Juliet" in late March. During their conversation, she congratulated him on working with her childhood idol, Madonna, and expressed her excitement about their “dream collaboration.” According to @pitonamorosa, Max Martin revealed, "You should like the song if you were into Madonna's '80s music."
