I had an amazing time last night at her second Melbourne show!
 
It was my first time seeing her in concert mode (saw her three times in NYC in 2005).
 
She seemed tired and lacked energy in her routines but who can blame her?
 
Her vocals weren't spectacular or anything but none of that mattered.
 
It was surreal and emotional to see her in her element on stage.

Massive Madonna tribute music video for Sydney Mardi Gras
Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras and Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority have commissioned their creative team for the third year in a row to create a unique Madonna tribute, which will include both a show-stopping live event and a video clip, which will be released on the Mardi Gras official Facebook Channel as a message of Love to the Queen Of Pop ahead of her arrival in Australia with the Rebel Heart tour later in March.
 
They are looking for volunteer dancers who love to Express themselves and are shooting on Valentine’s Day between mid-day and 5pm.
 
Let’s make this a huge celebration and send a message of Love from the heart to the Queen of Pop so fabulous that she can’t resist to reply to!

I doubt they'll release Blond Ambition. The Nice shows were recorded for the documentary (as were the Lisbon shows for Re-Invention), but apparently they planned which songs would be included or possibly included, so they didn't film them all in a professional sense.
 
 
It would be nice if they released every tour of hers on Blu-ray from the original elements, but this is a time consuming process, and she's too busy with other things to worry about releasing all of this. Not to mention the remastering and re-mixing of the audio stems for both 2.0 and 5.1 (or even 7.1) audio. For every tour.
 
 
If she does plan on releasing her tours and remastering them in terms of video and audio, she should get Stuart Price to do the audio mixing, since his mixes for both the IGTTYAS CD and The Confessions Tour DVD and CD were FAR better than the live mixes for S&S and MDNA. It would be interesting to hear his take on every tour from VT to DWT (where he was involved, but not in the audio mixing process). And she should keep Jonas Akerlund as a producer/editor/director of her concerts, since he makes them feel cinematic and very pop-ish in a good way.
 
With Stuart Price's live audio mixes, you actually feel like you're a part of the audience, but it sounds so cinematic. All of the audio mixes for every tour after S&S (which he didn't mix) sound very flat and rushed. MDNA by far is her worst tour in terms of video and audio presentation.
 
 
I understand that she doesn't like to do stuff with a single person on a consistent basis, but she should definitely keep Stuart on-call for anything live tour audio related.

For me, the artRAVE was her best tour since yet. I've been to all of her tours and it was sooooo great, totally like being in a party. She is good and I cannot get why she gets so much hate from other fanbases since she has more talent than their faves... We won't get an artRAVE DVD neither...

Gaga won't ever release the BTWBall because we all know how the tour ended. And she hates it so much that she acts like that tour didn't even exist. I do not agree with you that the BTWBall wasn't relevant to the pop culture. The tour was mostly sold out even in Korea or China and South America. I saw that tour live and it was good, with the castle, and the people inside the "monster pit" jumping... omg the feels...

And I add: it is ridiculous to think that this could be the cover of a DVD of the Blond Ambition tour ... that would be realized... when? In 2019?That cover sucks, and it would be absurd if they had made a mess like that so far in advance ...I have not even digested the cover of the MDNA tour ... which I think is a real CRAP

I don't know if you remember what I'm going to say, but the same news was already written in 2009: one year after Madonna signing the contract with LIVE NATION, somewhere on the web was leaked the news about a Guy Oseary's tweet in which it was reported that the negotiations for the creation of DVDs & BDs of the Virgin tour, the Blond Ambition tour and the Re-Invention Tour were under way . I remember that in the same period was also announced the upcoming release of a deluxe edition of Like A Prayer, to celebrate the twentieth anniversary ...
The same news were written in 2014, in proximity of the 25th anniversary of Like A Prayer (on this occasion it was also written that it would be made a deluxe edition of the disc that included a CD with bonus tracks, and a DVD with the Making Of Like A Prayer). Result : after spending months waiting for a confirmation never arrived at these fake (fu**ing) news, I was very disappointed, and very very very angry ...
And even now I am ... It's absurd that they have passed all these years, and Warner is still not able to realize DVDs or BDs of these shows ...
If the copyrights to the realization of the Laserdisc of Virgin Tour Live in Detroit, and Lasersdiscs of Blond Ambition live in Nice and Yokohama were sold to Pioneer, I find it hard to imagine that all the material recorded by Nocturne Productions (then not copyrighted)  can't be used to create  new DVDs/BDs ...

And now....2019???

Lets hope its not over-edited like the previous dvds ? i got a headache watching those ? i much prefer the editing on the 90s tours ? some artists even include multi-angles on their concert dvds and some even include the backdrop videos too ? She never includes these and i would really love to know why ??
