Why are you so pessimistic all the time? What makes you think she won't release another album when she's never given one inkling she's ready to stop making music? In fact, she said not so long ago on her instagram, she's being inspired to make new music.
Excuse me, you don't know me to make that comment. I was basing it on that she has adopted 2 more children and would wanna spend time with them. I don't do social media so I have no idea what she says on Facebook or Twitter or Instagram

As long as she releases what she is interested in releasing, that is all that matters to me. I might not have liked every song she's released, but for the past 30 some years, she's never really let me down. At this point, I don't care if she charts. She's been there. She done it all. So if she wants to release a ballad of farts, I'm all for it, because as ridiculous as it may sound, I trust her because she hasn't let me down yet. A few sour song isn't going to replace the fact she's still able to grab me with the majority of her albums even today. She really has nothing to lose at this point. She no longer has the commercial appeal. I'm realistic to the fact she isn't going to score another top 10 hit again because she doesn't having the music industry behind her anymore. And as long as the music industry keeps their focus on the younger generation, Madonna and any one her age isn't going to score big hits. Rebel Heart has plenty of melodic and catchy songs. If she was 20 something still, they would have been all over radio. "Ghosttown" would have been another #1 hit for her. People would have related to her songs more. But once again, the music industry prefers to cater to the younger crowd. People that age refuse to relate to a late 50 year old. Until people get over that, people her age will not score big hits.
I'm not sure I agree with you saying that people that age refuse to relate to a 50 year old. When I was younger listening to the radio, I didn't care how old someone was, if I liked what I heard I bought it, that's how I became a fan of Elton John and Cher and even a Lulu song, the fact that Madonna doesn't get played on the radio is why Madonna doesn't chart, if radio played Ghosttown, do you think younger people would of said, I like the song, but she's too old so I won't buy/stream it, of course not, I just can't believe the blatant ageism is allowed to happen.

I think what Madonna needs to do is try and get herself back on the radio, in the UK, she should actually do an interview on Radio 1 premises to promote a new single and make sure it gets on the A Playlist, she should also go on X Factor on the final.

Like most people on here, I'm a massive Madonna fan and I'm really disappointed she doesn't trouble the charts anymore or get played on the radio.
Does anyone think Madonna will ever have a hit record again?

All I wish Madonna would do is to release a single once a year to keep me happy and do some experimental stuff with The Chainsmokers, people like that

I think she has realised there isn't any point in releasing great albums, they sell less and less with every release, nobody is interested in buying her singles anymore, radio doesn't play them, her fans don't stream, they like CD's but she don't release CD singles anymore, if I was her, I wouldn't bother and relish in the fact at what I have achieved and the legacy I have left

The only thing I didn't like was he was singing over her and I wanted to hear her singing. I loved it when she was hanging out the window and people were like, is that Madonna, I think I would fainted if I saw her, I really hope it does wonders for her album and sells a bucketload

I'm not saying I don't want her to release a new album, of course I do, but I would like her to be appreciated more and have Radio actually play her new music as it's much better than the other crap they play, but if I was her, I wouldn't bother

I'd be interested to know what Lucky Star (Extr) is as I don't recognise that running time on the Guatemala Edition

We all know Madonna is the best selling female artist but how long will that last, Rihanna is the best selling female singles artist in the UK, I think she now has more cumulative weeks in the charts and she's also got about 6 million selling singles and Madonna has none.
Rihanna also has more number 1 singles than Madonna in some countries including the US and I reckon it won't be long until Rihanna has more number ones than Madonna everywhere and becomes the biggest selling female artist ever.
How do people feel about this, do you think Rihanna turned up at the right time for the download era and streaming where music is more accessible and that streaming doesn't necessarily mean a proper sale or that she duets with everybody.
I personally don't think Rihanna will be as iconic as Madonna but it won't be long until Rihanna becomes the best selling female artist and she's only 26 I think.

i think it was originally intended to be a hidden track? i have a cassette edition of Erotica, and it doesn't lists it, or has it's credits / also, it has a shorter version of Secret Garden, without the piano outro.
I'd really like to hear that version of Secret Garden
Rescue Me (Special Edit Remix)
