And for me, someone who really enjoys the energy of the crowd and rawness of live music, this really sucks. I’ll watch it but it just doesn’t do much for me.

I’m sure it’s all on her, she’s just way too involved if u ask me. She should hire longtime fans who are professionals in their fields,- we’d make sure she looks good but we would want to deliver finish products fast as well.

good for her I'd say...she was very upset when these pix leaked, I know from people who work with her and to now come around and unapologetically post one of the messiest ones is fantastic. Not giving a fvck is a constant process, just like being present.

she's always used her body as part of her art and expression. When she alters it in such an obvious way, of course people will want to talk about it. I think it's perfectly fair game to talk about her ass, modified or not. To me she looked like she was wearing diapers at the MX shows I went to. Not a fan of the implants but whatever makes her feel better about herself. Our opinions really don't matter.

ya, a gentle pitch and volume correction would do the trick but the mixing of off key live vocals and studio vocals is just stupid and sounds so fkn amateurish. No idea who makes these dumb decisions i her team.

It was all kind of bizarre. Casey made this big stink out of it because it was “his” demo and how he “wrote it” and when people started pressuring him into releasing the demo (before he put any work in) it got clear that all he really did was proof read and fix in a small amount of places what Mirwais didn’t get right. sure he should’ve been credited but he got all “I want one percent of the tour earnings because it’s the opener of the show”. I kinda hope he didn’t get anything after what he pulled.

utilize her current band to record an acoustic version of the whole MX album or a "living room session" with them just jamming and singing for the quarantined folks.

ya. same. was obsessed with it back then as well and agree, the HBO broadcast is the best live audio. If you have a proper digital version of it, I would loooove it. The DVD sound mixing is so muted in parts (e.g. the guitar riffs on JML etc) and the crowd noise tempering. I id pull the stereo sound from the broadcast back then on tape.

and to be fair, CT editing and sound post production with crowds cheering going in and out was not a great "live experience" video either. Way too over-post-produced. Give me a fkn Girlie Show show any day of the week

I want her to utilize her current band and make real organic music. Acoustic mid tempo madonna....leave the dance stuff to the remixers and focus on quality songs with real instruments and her VOICE. I miss her fkn real voice so much.

I strongly believe if she hadn't fkd with her voice so much on MX, people would've enjoyed it more. We love her voice, it's a part fo our youth and life in general. To overproduce ot the way they did killed any kind of soul or connection to it. Not a big fan of medellin as a lead single either BUT if she had just allowed her voice to resonate instead of the soulless vocoder crap it would've been better received. Top that off with the Eurovision disaster and "Madonna can't sing anymore". I agree that this era had so much potential but they kinda blew it on many different ends. Thankfully the show was exceptional...to me at least.

I loved the three shows I saw in NYC and so did the two non fans who I brought along. The production was beautiful and I loved the small theatre experience. The only thing I wish she had done was replace a couple of MadameX songs with older stuff adn less vocoder nonsense, which was the only but big negative for me about MadameX in general. 4 out of 5 for me.

yeah they should let people choose in their price category, if better seats are still available. What a mess. That said, I'm happy with the ones I got for NYC and Paris.
